This isnt for this specific location but for the company as a whole! In my opinion, if you want to keep screwing your customers over, honest advertising is where its at and im available for hire. I went to this store to buy a new sim card. There were 2 clerks waiting on 2 customers that were buying new phones. I waited for over an hour while the clerks fumbled around trying to transfer the stored pictures and such from the old to the new phones with little luck. The manager told one customer that if they bought more storage then they could transfer the information. Then it was the extended warranty that they didn't want but she kept pushing. Then it was the T mobile internet which they didn't want and again she kept pushing. The other clerk couldn't get the new phone to sync with the old so the manager tried to get him to buy an upgrade. I am not kidding, I left after waiting for over an hour. I have bought cars faster than this. Update, I went to the Crystal Lake store, they had at least 12 customers in the store. In less than 30 seconds, I was greeted and asked what I was looking for. I said I think I need a new sim card and the greeter said it would be a few minutes. I sat down, (the store in Wauconda has no chairs), and within 10 minutes a clerk was helping me. Total time in Crystal Lake, about 20 minutes. 5 stars for the Crystal Lake store. read more

Went into this location last week to upgrade my husband's phone. They got very busy in a short time. The two employees, Jakob and Carlos, stayed calm and patient. BEWARE OF THIS STORE!!! As a Sprint customer being merged over to T-Mobile, it was my first experience with them. I suddenly had a broken phone, went to this location in Wauconda to simply purchase a new iPhone outright and have it activated on an existing line. I was not well and distracted so I admit I missed some ques that I normally would have picked up on, but I also should not go into a store of a large company being concerned about being ripped off. I was told I could not buy the phone outright and it had to go on an installment plan but I could pay it off online later. But I could buy the case and protective shield outright, which I did. When I got home, I found a plug adapter also in the bag, and being sick I thought it was just one that came with the phone. It was not and they just charged me for it without even a mention or asking permission, just charged my card and put it in the bag. Several days later I received emails that appeared to be referencing an insurance plan on the new phone. I called Sprint and found out, guess what? They added insurance without even bringing it into the conversation, just charged me for it. I cancelled it. Then several weeks later, I got my regular phone bill and was stunned because it said my plan had increased by $84 a month. I have a family plan with 9 lines -- it turns out they took it off the family plan and put it on my account but on an individual line, at the single line rate, which was $84 a month more than my family plan, just for that one line. T-Mobile customer service did accept responsibility when I called them about it and I'll see when my next bill comes if they followed through on the change back, but this store just ripped me off over and over on one visit! Again, I should have seen the red flags, but seriously, does that mean I should have walked in there not trusting them to be honest and on the alert to be RIPPED OFF? I wanted to buy a phone -- period! I did not change my plan or even want the installment plan, just here's some money for an iPhone! The result was they STOLE FROM ME IN EVERY WAY THEY COULD!! This T-Mobile is one of my favorite stores due to the location and service. These guys will take care of you and will go beyond to solve the problem. One thing I must say Is that I was shocked to hear Juan doesn't work there anymore! These guys don't know how to fix phones. Brought mine in and they just said, "That is how the phone is supposed to be." Broken? The phone is supposed to be broken? Quick to try to get me to buy a new phone though... Yeah, right. When my husband brought his phone in with a problem, they asked him if he had googled how to fix it. Really?
