This was required for me to be able to put a new band on it or I would have needed to buy a new one. I figured someone with the right tools and experience with detail may be able to help, and that's when C&K electronics came to the rescue. Perry was so nice and had the piece out in under a minute, and insisted on putting the new band on for me. I will return here for any other needs he may be able to assist me with. After maybe 10min of him diagnosing a 50' tv for a $50 assement, the final price came to $272 for parts and $99 for labor. He didn't try to help my father by saying, "Hey, you can buy a newer, bigger TV for lesser money. You would save more by not fixing this." I mean he made $50 already just by looking at it for 10 min, and would create loyal customers because of honesty. Instead it's, "I want half now. " What ever happened to good business? Where business isn't just about money, but about integrity. This guy seemed greedy and just wanted that extra $99 he can make. He most definitely lost a customer.

This radio was made in the 1960's and 1970's and is a collectable item. The tech looked at it and plugged it in to hear the radio buzz but the radio would not pull in a station. He said it was fixable and it would be ready in a week. Two days later they called me and said it was fixed ready to be picked up. I really appreciated the quick service and reasonable pricing for the repair. I got it home and plugged it in and turned it on. It sounded just like it did when it was new! My Daughter hasn't seen it since it was stored in our attic. Wont she be surprised! I can't wait to see the look on her face when I give it to her!

They charge a $45 deposit fee at dropoff that goes toward the device repair, mostly so you remember to pick up your device within 30 days and they aren't doing repairs for nothing. Repair cost will depend on what needs fixing. In my case, they had to do some work on a control board no longer sold by the manufacturer. You can avoid fees by paying in cash. Very nice owners!

My experience with "the other" similar store was horrible, which led me to this one. I went in and dropped my PS3 off on a rainy day. Ran into the "store". It's very small, they have used odds and ends in the front for purchase. You can certainly smell that they still smoke in the back, but whatever. I just want my PS3 working. They seemed knowledgeable enough. The younger-guy said it would only be like 4 hours to get it fixed and that he'd call me. So sure enough, either same day or next day they called back to let me know it was ready and I went to get it. Super cheap for my "yellow light of death". Still is working. The only scary part is that they only guarantee their work for like 30 or 60 days - can't remember which. That made me a bit nervous, because it seems like maybe they have units come back a lot..?? Why wouldn't they guarantee it longer. Hmm. Regardless, mine is still working. And it's been like a 45-60 days. updated 11/24/12 - So.. I have to update my rating and review. Unfortunately my PS3 died again 2 weeks ago. So apparently this is the reason why they only have a "30-day guarantee". Right. Got it now. Will not be paying to service it again. Unfortunately will have to bite the bullet and buy a new one. :( So, I have to change my rating.
