So we went to our local T-Mobile store and got a great deal on phones and a home internet package. They even gave us a 14 day trial of the internet before committing to the service. As I'm taking a look at the new iPhone 16 Pro Max I overhear the young man helping an older man, just completely belittle him every chance he got. The older man had an accent and clearly doesn't have perfect english. Once these people leave the store, the customers(a young lady and the gentleman) continue to speak badly about their customers, with the young lady saying loud and clear "IF THEY WANT CHICK FIL A SERVICE THEN THEY CAN GO TO CHICK FIL A". I've been to this location twice and both times felt the same. I needed to upgrade my plans from being a customer of over 20 years. Not helpful, they were rude and condescending stating it was a legacy plan and didn't really want to address any comparisons to the new plan. They dismissed me and I left this retail store never wanting to come back. Ironically I called from the parking lot and spent 30 mins with a very well represented t mobile rep over the phone. I upgraded plans for all lines and even got 2 new iphones. ... So some time later.. like 10 days, I finally upgraded the 2 iphones and they were ready to be returned. I was hesitant but what harm if I'm just returning phones... Decided to give them another shot, maybe caught them on a bad day. Walked in. Scoped around. 3 or 4 sitting around chatting at a table while another rep/or maybe not a rep but was having personal issues on the company land line for the whole duration I was there. . Either or doesn't matter. Just need to get my phones returned and I'm good. Rep that helped me was through.. which was good. Thought we were done until the end. He walked out from back offering me a free promo line .. since I'm a long term customer... I said nothing is free... nothing.. nope.. don't need it, want it.. then his manager comes from table and reassures .. this is legit. It's free. I said once again. Nothing is free. Manager reassures again, they have had customers with this promo... I kept saying nothing is free. Dont have a need.. they said they use it and use as loaners or sublease to others...it's useful.. And again they promise it will not come up on the bill... I succumb, they charge me $10 for a Sim card and had me pick a number.. I don't even have a phone for it.... dont need it, so of course I'm still skeptical. 10 days later I call in, make sure its not on bill... I see a new line.. no devices attached .. becuase I don't have a need for it. Never used Sim. But bill remains same. I call back 10 days later... hmm.. extra line, extra rate, $35 plus $23 prorate for March to April... I call in again... this time rep says nope, walked thru everything and not a free line. 20 mins later we went thru all promos and they said yup got the iphone promo. Other promos don't apply to you. Then the free line is if you got a line.. which I never did. I was hesitant from day 1 for a reason. I should known better. 30 mins later rep on phone got the $23 removed, then $35.. for next cycle.. but my autopay already ran thru and odds and ends were charged. They supposedly removed that nee line now but wont come off till next billing cycle. All in all... nothing in life is free... I now need to keep checking in again to see if indeed it comes off the bill. I have a useless Sim I paid $10 for.. other fees applies since this month bill was higher, even after the credit reapplied. And ti be honest i dont care, just want that line gone.... bottom line, I walked in day 1 for a new plan and phones, didn't get the help, didn't feel right, got it with tmobile phone reps. Then on 4/4 went in to trade in phones, ho harm i thought, and walked out with misrepresented info about a free line and time and $$ I won't get back because i didn't stay firm with my beliefs. Read fine print, in this case there wasn't any, just took the word of the Manager and his rep. I don't think there will be a 3rd time visit to this location. Oh by the way, it was the same Manager there day 1 as the one that assured me it's 1000% free, no impact, no problems, your bill will not change. His promise. read more

Came to the store today to ask about a new T-Mobile promotion and had a fantastic experience. I want to highlight Octavio, who really took the time to talk us through the fine text of the offer and alternative options available to us even when it became apparent that I wouldn't be able to take advantage of the promotion in question. Octavio was very transparent with us and incredibly knowledgeable, which was clear in the straightforward and clear answers he had to our (many) questions. T-Mobile support can be a big hit or miss, but this was definitely a big hit. No frustration or confusion at all, which I've always associated with T-Mobile in the past. If you're close enough for a visit, definitely choose this place over waiting on hold or dealing with convoluted non-answers over chat. read more

A few weeks ago I called this Tmobile store and asked some questions to see if I could be helped with the services I needed. I wanted to pull my line from one account to create my own account with same line. I made the mistake of not asking the name of the person that I spoke to for 9 minutes. After confirming that I could be helped, I drove to this store. I walked in and they tell me that they cannot help me because the service I needed could only be done "remotely" and not in store. I proceeded to say that I had just been told over the phone that I could be helped. I even showed the sales person my call log with their phone number and the call time of 9 minutes from the same day shortly before making the drive. I ended up leaving this store since they couldn't help me. The whole point of anyone calling an establishment is to not waste anyone's time or gas etc. Fast forward to today, I called a Tmobile store in Azusa because I needed to purchase a new phone etc. The sales rep was very friendly on the phone and confirmed that she could help me once I arrived at store. I was able to purchase a new phone and she answered all the questions I had. Her name is Jasmine and if you're looking for a great and helpful experience you will for sure receive it there at 1250 W. Foothill Blvd in Azusa. Lastly, Jasmine provided great service without knowing of my horrible experience at the Azusa store. I shared my experience with her after I had already paid for my new phone and I was about to exit the store. My partner decided to change carrier to t-mobile and he availed the their promotion with 2 i phones included aside from the line. My partner live in vegas and sent me my new iphone, my partner instructed me to go to the nearest t mobile which i did and just let them know that my phone needed to be activated. I went to this store then one of the guy there assisted me, i provided all the info that he needed but unfortunately he said he couldn't activate my phone bc he needs my partner to be there, i explained to him that he was in vegas. In short he didn't helped me to activate my phone. That guy wasn't very helpful to their customer and i didn't hear any apology from him. So i wouldn't recommend this place if u want their services. I came here shopping for phones recently. I was "helped" by 2 different people at different times because the original salesman that I spoke to the first time wasn't there the second time I showed up. On my third time there, both salesmen were there at the same time. The first salesman wanted the sale, but, I didn't think he was particularly helpful. The second salesman who was helpful didn't want to help me because he found out I had spoken to saleman #1. At that point, I wanted to leave the store. But, it was too late. Salesman #1 helped me. Salesman #2 refuses to talk to me. I came here for a phone, not an attitude. The salesmen working here need to grow up. 30 minutes in and out. Switching over from sucky SPRINT to T-Mobile was the easiest process ever, all on my lunch break. On my old plan I had weak, spotty coverage and just 2GB data but now I have strong, wide coverage and 10GB data that I'll rarely exceed. Seriously worst service ever. I've been coming here for years and have never been treated like that. I went in cause my brand new phone wasn't notifying of my messages coming in. I looked up the issue online to try and fix it first and tried everything they suggested and thought it could be another issue with the actual phone. So I went in just giving up hope. I explained what i thought it could be, at least coming in with some sort of attempt and suggestions hoping they could resolve it, as they are the "professionals". After two associates played with it for about 5 minutes they found the issue, great! But instead of being courteous and fixing it and maybe making a little joke about how simple it was they ended up just laughing about it in my face and making fun of me. I know how to make fun of myself and now see how ridiculous the problem was and how easy the fix was. But do not laugh at your customers in their face, dangle their phone away from them, and mimic their voices! That is not professionalism at all! I had a horrible experience at the T-Mobile in Diamond Bar Blvd and Grand. I was the only person in the store, where the two men providing service barely spoke to me and were unfriendly, Eric and Peng. They spoke to each other in a language I obviously did not understand; this made me feel uncomfortable as I didn't know what they were talking about and what they were doing with my phones, I could only assume the best but their coldness wasn't reassuring. I asked them to clear phone 1, transfer the number, and transfer data from phone 2 to phone 1. They only transferred the phone number, they didn't bother calling it to ensure it worked, and I felt I had to continue to ask questions to get answers. I asked if they had cleared the phone and Eric said "we tried" which they did not, it is easy to do once I figured it out at home. Very unprofessional. Most importantly, you'd think with COVID they'd sanitize my phones before and after returning them to me, but they did not. Overall, I was poorly served and left to go home, when I was the only one to help. Perhaps I interrupted their social hour. In a panic, once home, I called the Walnut store as I was worried about what was done or not done by the Diamond Bar store. Octavio answered, heard my complaint, was professional, kind, knowledgeable, and instantly gained my trust. He helped by instructing me on what to do with my phones. I cleared the phone at home, something the representatives in Diamond Bar could've easily done but did not try at all. I'm grateful for Octavio at the Walnut store and his superb customer service, unfortunately, I will never return to the Diamond Bar store which is unfortunate as it is less than 5 minutes from home. I've had Sprint for over 15 years and lived in Diamond Bar longer. I wish there was consistent service at every store but unfortunately, there are those who go beyond supporting customers and those that do the bare minimum. Today in the a.m. I was greeted by Richard, then Sharon came out while Richard was getting my new iphone 6 for me asked if I had been helped. I told Richard that I had to get to work right away in Pasadena and he moved so quick and helped me with basic set up etc. I told him that I didn't have time to transfer my contacts and would come back later. He then placed a note on my old phone to be held for a couple of days. I returned the same evening and was greeted by Asad who was so patient with me and transferred by contacts. Jackie was there to and added some input for the contacts transfer. My old phone was acting up. This is the only T-Mobile store I shop at as I've been to others which were very under par. I came in on a Sunday afternoon to upgrade one of my phone lines that hadn't been upgraded in over 3 years. They had two associates on the floor helping other customers, and what must've been 2 other associates in the back (perhaps taking a break?). We waited a little less than 10 minutes for one of the associates to finish with his previous customer, and from there it was smooth sailing. The entire process took about an hour. I was really pleased with my experience because there was no sales pitch for products or services whatsoever. I loved it because I was able to get in and get exactly what I want without being pressured for anything else. Having been a Verizon customer for over twenty years, the wife and I decided to drop by to see what plans T-Mobile offered with the new Samsung Note 8. There were three employees and another couple in there. We were in the store for a good five minutes and not one of the employees acknowledged our presence. One was talking on the phone, another one walked right pass us and left the store. During the whole time no one said " Hi, we'll be right with you." No one made eye contact. I sure hope they are all financially independent because it will be difficult for them to actually make a living. read more

Me and my mother made the switch from AT&T to T-Mobile a few weeks ago, and the sale representative was Celine. We've been waiting to make the switch once my mom turned 55 to get the Magenta 55 plan. Things seemed good until now. She was telling us how we will receive Netflix and that the bill was going to be $70 rather than $80 once we activated auto-pay. Went to cancel my Netflix account and tried to activate the Netflix they promised, but apparently our plan doesn't come with it. Then we checked our bill and it was $80. We payed that day and she even set up the auto-pay and told us the bill was going to be $70. Called customer support and they told us the bill was $80, and that the $70 will appear on the next bill, and there was no way to refund the $10. Please know your facts before trying to make a sale. read more

Agree with the other reviewers, the customer service here lacks as the employees are lazy! There were no customers inside this store when I walked in and the two employees were just sitting down talking to themselves. As soon as you walk in they get up and act like they're going to go back to work. I came into change my plan and they told me to call customer service. This was after I had talked to customer service on the phone already and they said I would be able to walk into a store, and it would probably be faster because I wanted to get the 55+ plan and would need to bring my parents with me in order to show proof of age to obtain the plan. Stepped outside to call T-Mobile and told the rep what happened at the store, and they agreed they should have helped so I just asked if they could report the store to higher up :) In general, I feel like most T-mobile store locations never want to help you with anything unless it's selling a phone! At least T-Mobile customer service over the phone is great, probably because they're being recorded.
