My sister has had problems with her service that she has been receiving in branches of T-Mobile in Pico Rivera and it turns out they were not corporate stores like this location but franchises. My father waited for a long time in the store and asked them to help set up something. At first, there was a person who could speak Chinese was willing to help, saying that he should go and get some wires. After he returned, they completely ignored him. A group of people who spoke English came out and treated him with extremely bad attitude, telling him that they wouldn't help and asking him to leave. My father wanted to communicate further, but they threatened that if he didn't leave, they would call the police to arrest him!! This is the attitude of this store! I walked in to 4 T Mobile associates helping out 3 guests. I understand customer service so I patiently waited for 20 minutes. I was NOT greeted, in fact I would go as far as to say I was ignored. I was in agony listening to one of the male associates flirting with the single female guest, talking about which parts of Mexico are worth visiting and how the border of Tijuana is crazy. It wasn't until an older gentleman came in and Daniel, or Danny, quickly greeted him and asked for his phone number. I assumed he was there for a pick up order but instead he was being helped from start to finish. I again waited until Daniel was finished to try to approach him, only for him to quickly look away and try to scurry away. I loudly asked where I can sign in to get his attention. At this point, I'm upset. He apologized and asked if I was Jose, to which I replied NO. I'm latino and he assumed I was another guest named Jose? I quickly and sternly reminded him that no one had greeted me or helped me out or even LOOKED AT ME. FINALLY, he asked for my name and phone number. He commented that I HAD been waiting a while, which didn't help my mood. Daniel finally quickly helped me out, I think after noticing my intolerance. In the end, a 5th T Mobile Associate came out looking like he thought himself superior and asked Daniel if I was Juan (AGAIN) to which Daniel replied no. Overall, I was satisfied with Daniel's help but I am upset with initial greeting and management. I was ignored for 20 minutes and even had someone else be helped before me when they came in after me. I will try to avoid this location because it doesn't seem to cater to my experience. read more

Poor and Unacceptable Customer Service Experience Involving Associate Manager Alfie After checking in, I waited about 15 minutes. I politely asked a staff member what number I was and was told there was one person ahead of me. While I continued waiting, two groups arrived after me and were checked in. Alfie then approached one of those new groups to assist them. I politely stated that I believed it was my turn. Alfie responded rudely, saying, "No, you are not," without checking my name. When I asked what number I was, he said there were two people ahead of me, which directly contradicted what his staff had just told me. When I pointed this out, he dismissed me and said, "Have a nice day." After another five minutes, Alfie called a customer who had just checked in after me and helped her instead. I calmly asked why I was being bypassed. Rather than answering, he repeatedly asked why I was upset and continued to ignore my question, while never acknowledging me or asking what help I needed. Being skipped, given inconsistent information, and spoken to dismissively felt disrespectful and discriminatory. This was one of the worst T-Mobile customer service experiences I've ever encountered. Honestly, I think the customer service here is pretty bad. The workers here don't even know their policy well. Yesterday, me and my brother waited over an hour to be helped. They said 40 minutes, so that was a lie. The man who checked us in was a bald Asian man who wasn't quite precise about the deal that was being offered. He wasn't clear about the trade-in for an iPhone 17 pro, and just assumed my phone qualified. After over an hour of a wait, the employee Daniel who just clocked in was the one who helped us. He said that my phone didn't qualify for the trade-in because it was cracked, and had to be fixed. I wish the first guy would be clear about that to begin with, however, I still had an opportunity to trade-in my phone for something else. Daniel was good about helping out with that, however, he seemed to not have been knowledgeable about certain things. I asked him if my brother (the authorized holder of the plan) needed to be with me if I just wanted to drop off my old phone for the trade-in (because transferring process took a while, so I took it home first), but he said no my brother didn't have to be there. Now, I come back to drop it off, and they say that he does need to be here... like seriously. And I would have to wait like another 30 minutes (maybe even an hour because they lie). Fix your customer service. It's sad that some of you guys don't know your own policy well and even have to lie to your customers. read more

We got Ramiro who did a good job in transferring data from our old phone to I-phone 15. It could have been 5 stars if he walked us thru step by step what he was doing? He just left two phone side by side until it was completed. Something remarkable which we admire he was not the pushy salesman who would criticize customer for not purchasing cell phones from T Mobile. The week before that, we almost switch carriers because customer care refused to honor they promise to my wife while traveling. Well, after several calls, a call center rep refunded $ 54. Came in to troubleshoot my iPhone 13 since I stopped receiving Tmobile reception. There was 1 other person when I got there at 5pm on a Tuesday. Got greeted within 2 mins and agent checked out phone and said physical sim cards had been acting up after recent iOS updates. He agreed that the physical sim needed replacement and said he can do it for free. Randomly after 5 mins he changes mind and said he needs to change $20 for a replacement sim. I went in expecting a physical sim to cost $5-$10. But going from free one minute to $20 seemed weird and shady so I left. read more

Izzy is Awesome! After The T-mobile sent me my insurance phone ; I spent an extra two weeks without any service due to an error they made on my line. During these two weeks without a phone ; I went to a different certified retailer for help; who just pushed my problem a side and blamed the insurance . At her Rowland Heights location ; She was Friendly , Patient and extremely Understanding. They were very helpful with finding a phone but then chucked our account and reminded us that we had insurance. They were awesome and allowed us to call from there. Once again, the customer service was outstanding. We called ahead to confirm if the device we wanted was in stock and was greeted by Ray on the phone with polite customer service. Once we arrived we were greeted immediately by Emily and taken care of by Beau Bravo. The transaction went smoothly and faster than I expected and while things were processing in the system. Horrible customer service done by manager name Izzy and employee name Michelle I've been here maybe 3 previous times before and r successfully entered my account I don't not know what their problem is with me but they neglected to help a customer who is in need of help and just kept telling me I have the wrong name on my account even though it clearly says my name and my email address they need to replaces these employees with who's willing to help the customer not just shwooing them away by just quickly neglecting the issue with the customers with horrible customer sevice. And as I waited in the store for maybe 20-30 min Izzy has been just talking to their employees and pointing fingers at me I would never come back here after how they treat their customers. I can't believe Izzy is the manager here from how she handles customers that's in need of help here. She definitely does not deserve to be a manager or knows how to handle any situation that manager should acknowledge to to handle the situation. I think from my experience NICK should be the manager based on how he handled the situation with professionalism. I spoke a fellow customer saying this place has horrible service and "manager" Izzy came and said "don't talk crap about me" which I wasn't and she knows she's guilty for it because she kept apologizing after the fact when situation already got ugly. Maybe just because I am an old Asian woman, I was discriminated. I have no choice but ask to switch to the other sale person with my ethnicity. But the situation does not get better. My data was totally lost after being transferred to new phone, due to not proper explanation from her. I was very despondent for the serious mistake, all important information got lost! I ask for written instructions for a product, the sales woman told me all their instructions was written in English, implying I won't be able to read and understand it . Simple and Sweet It was a great experience here! I wanted to swap over our plan and Bao was friendly and informative. Instead of feeling like i was talking to a T-Mobile rep, she made it feel as if i was just there to catch up with an old friend! She told me what to do and got me in and out of there in a flash! After explaining the situation to her, she undermined our issues with senseless solutions instead of giving us answers to what we were really asking for. Her solutions just wanted to avoid the bigger picture and made even more work for us, putting on a temporary bandaid.
