Sorry to yelp a poor review but this store doesn't know the current t-mobile promotions. T-mobile has Samsung S21 trade in promotion for current customers not requiring new activation on lines. So you get to keep your current phone numbers. I went to Long Beach store on Pacific Coast Hwy and was provided awesome service in upgrading "4 phones". Also salesperson doesn't listen when told I do not want to hear about other phones e.g. LG..as bad experience..he still kept suggesting to look at it. Had other bad experiences at this store on T-MOBILE Tuesday..don't waste your time here. read more

My wife, a person of color, went into the store and Aaron, behind the counter, refused to assist her. He states she doesn't have access to our business account. She is our CFO, of course she does. When she handed her phone to Aaron so I could talk to him, he was very arrogant and refused to call 611 to confirm, stating it wasn't necessary, that he k ows shes not on the account. It is terrible a grown, successful woman of color is being treated like this. The irony is I convinced her to transfer her phone from another carrier because TMobile is so friendly. Definitely need to rethink that position and Aaron absolutely needs retraining. read more

"BRICE" I went in to the store to get some assistance with an issue I had been dealing with the customer service department for over 2 weeks. They were trying to say my phone was damaged prior to them receiving it and I would have to pay $300. The customer service department is typically horrible because they always have a wait time from 25/30 min. However walking into this establishment I was greeted right away by an employee named Brice! He was super nice and helped me right away. He was able to help me with the problem and get the charges waived and explain to the Customer Service Department I was not at fault. I would highly recommend if your looking to make a purchase, ask for Brice! He is very welcoming and super nice and patient. read more

My screen protector broke when I dropped my phone. Luckily, I purchased the screen protector when I bought my phone at T-Mobile and so it was covered under the Protection 360 insurance plan. Yay for me! Service was spot on, especially their protocols to protect customers and themselves from COVID-19 (all employees were wearing a mask, they had customers wait outside until there was room inside, and they had marks on the ground to support the 6-feet social distancing). The associate who assisted me, Anthony, was very professional and did a great job placing my new screen protector on my phone. read more

I needed to change my internet service so I stopped by this store today as I had some questions. Jamie assisted me, answered all my questions, got me signed up with my new T-Mobile service and within 1/2 hour I was out of there with my new modem all ready to plug in at home. Password protection was completed at the store so all I had to do was plug it in and it was done. Simple....this $30 price is much lower then my Verizon...thank you Jamie. After comparing prices with other phone carriers, I found T-Mobile to be the best for us. Savana was extremely helpful and informative, she answer all our questions, and got us switched over from Sprint without a problem. Savana has amazing customer service skills. If I was able to hire someone she would be my 1st. choice. Another employee, Josh helped me with checking out the camera on the new phone I was looking to purchase. He was very polite, helpful, and professional. An amazing team. I can't recommend them enough!!!!! I'm sorry to say I wasted a bit of mine time here thinking I was going to get my usual outstanding Tmobile service like every store I've gone to. I came here when Tmobile and Blackberry had a trade in promotion. You can trade any working blackberry for a $200 credit towards any phone in the Tmobile store. Now, when asked about the trade in, I was welcomed and shook hands with the manager. When I agreed on a phone for the trade in, I was told by the manager I had to upgrade my plan. HUH ? Well, no where in the fine print did it say I had to upgrade my plan. I do have one of those old grandfathered plans. I'm one of those oldies that doesn't like to commit to a 2 year plan and would rather buy a nice unlocked phone off ebay than to be stuck in a commitment. I was also told that I was running out of minutes and texts when he pulled up my plan. I do have an old plan as well with 400 texts and not a whole lot of minutes. He insisted that I upgrade my plan but politely declined and walked out of there a little frustrated. I do know the short codes to Tmobile for minutes used is #646# and the SMS is #674#. I checked as I was walking out of the door and I had plenty of minutes and text left. I have no idea what he was talking about when I was running out of minutes. One thing I hate about is being lied to when making a sale. I do sales myself and personally, I believe you will become a successful salesman when you gain the trust of your customers. So I will not come here again. Oh, my story did have a good ending though. I actually went to another Tmobile store that was by the place I had dinner and had no problems trading in my phone. The whole process took 30 minutes at the other store on Valley View and Lincoln. Go there instead if you don't want honest sales people. read more

My experience at this store was great thanks to Nancy B.! She was very helpful transferring my contacts from my Blackberry work phone to the Samsung 4G. I called and had a conversation about the new iphone 8. I was told I could trade in my iphone 5 for a $300 credit towards the new iphone 8. I spent the whole afternoon looking for this old phone and finally located it. I drove to the Seal Beach store where I had spoken to an associate. I was told oh no, that promotion ended a few days ago, but you could upgrade your apple watch with a bill credit and no activation fee. UGH! I asked why do I call and ask the specifics of this trade in promotion? What is the purpose of the associate? I was told I should always make another call to verify the promotions. What! That makes no sense. Very disappointed in the lack of knowledge this store appears to have. read more

I'm so disappointed to have to leave this review but the lack of customer service and the run around I was just given I have to share. I went in to this location to replace a screen protector on my phone and while doing so I decided to added service to my Apple Watch. I didn't have the Apple Watch on hand so said I would come back but the guy who was helping me, I believe his name was Nas, was very insistent on me finishing the transaction and insisted I could call to just finish the process from home. Now looking back, I'm curious if he received some sort of commissions on me adding it then because when I just called to finish the process he refused to do it, not making any sense, saying that he doesn't remember me now, and if I had called sooner he would have remembered me and how does he know that I'm actually that person? Furthermore, he didn't even ask who had serviced me so that leads me to believe he knew it was him. I recognized his voice so I knew it was him. couldn't you look in my account and see that you authorized the transaction? Isn't that what the account pin is for? He told me I would need to come in and do it. I even went over a specific conversation we had about it being Mother's Day in his country the day I came in and him wishing me a Happy Mother's Day. So now I'm going to pay for an extra line that isn't even being used until I can get back into a store, and as a mom of three, isn't an easy task. Shady and poor customer service. Do yourself a favor and drive down the street to the other location where they are much more helpful. read more

I received exemplary service from Chisolm who was respectful, helpful and informative in addition to her suggestions as to what iPhone would suite my needs. I had many questions and concerns that I needed assistance and help with. Anthony was also extremely helpful as well. I decided on the iPhone 8 which was not in stock. Anthony found this phone and another employee brought the phone to Seal Beach from The Buena Park store. While I was waiting, I cannot say enough about the courtesy, respect, information, efficiently in completing my transaction. He raved about his experience with T-mobile so I was disappointed after we visited a store in Lakewood that didn't seem to care to really give us the best options for our needs. I'm glad we left that store and came to Seal Beach. Mina answered our millions of questions, worked hard to address any frustrations of mine, and gave us a great cost out the door. They didn't have the phone we wanted so they got us set up and sent us to a Long Beach location to finish the transaction, which was seamless.
