TERRIBLE Customer service!!!! Spent 2 hours just activating PREPAID on a brand new iPhone 17pro and didn't work. Leo made a mistake activating an E-Sim. Stayed there for 2 hours and still couldn't solve it. We paid $64 for the line and activation fee, the line wasnt even activated. And they did not refund my Mom her money! UNBELIEVABLE! I have been to three stores and the corporate store at Paseo Nuevo Mall, and they could all use interpersonal skills training. I'm a former Sprint customer and I never had any CSR issues. As soon as, Sprint was bought out, my telecommunication issues began. The T-Mobile store at the Five Points shopping mall is the worst of all. It seems CSR's do not like questions; then threaten you to call the police if you don't leave their store. Needless to say, those white boys were racist to the core. T-mobile store in Carpinteria and in downtown State Street are the second of the worst. CSR at both locations were self-righteous and rolled their eyes a million times when I addressed my concerns and complaints. The CSR at the State St. store colluded with his manager to treat me like dirt. All but two (2) phone reps were the worst and I called a million times. Takes forever to get through, and after waiting for what it seems like 4 hours, and repeating my story 200 times, issues not resolved. But they always say, we want to ensure you have the best service. CSR and manager at the corporate office also failed to pass the T-mobile interpersonal skills course, allowed them to carry on as reps or maybe T-mobile doesn't actually monitor their workers. If any of these people worked for me they would seriously need to go through training courses or they would be FIRED!! Makes for bad reputation. I have photos and business cards, and names; if anyone cares. BTW, they charged my mom twice, she is a disabled senior on a fixed income (SSI & SSA) twice and when she took her receipts, as proof that she had already paid, the manager did not believe her, even with the proof. The best success I have had is with FB T-Force, although, one or two are sprinkled in there that need to be replaced. I have the message chat, I can tell you who they are. After a week, I have a replacement phone that does not charge, I have been compensated monetarily. Ohh, and it appears that T-mobile Samsung has changed their cables, and the catcher is they DO NOT GIVE YOU AN ADAPTER...you have to purchase it because their cable doesn't attach to older Samsung adapters. Needless to say my struggle continues....day 9, with no service and 2 phones, that are overpriced and weigh a ton. read more

These employees at the store said that T-mobile wants to upgrade all home internet to the new devices and there will be no extra charges. Well, I found out they lied. I use to pay $30 for internet now it's $50 because of the "upgrade". When I went to confront them they just locked themselves away in their little room! If you won't commit to additional accessories then they go back and check their stock and somehow they no longer have the model you want. Even though the TLife apps shows inventory. They claim its not accurate. Other nearby stores attest that the TLife inventory is usually very accurate. Avoid this store if you can. read more

Ater shopping around Jose helped us determined that T-Mobile was the best deal for the two of us and we set up our first phone plan together today! Jose was super friendly, knowledgeable and made the process seamless for us. He worked diligently to get me transferred over from AT&T and my fiancé from Sprint and stayed an hour beyond closing to ensure that everything was working before we left. Not only that but he followed through on our account days later to make sure everything was functioning as it should be. Now we know we can always come here and Jose will help us with any and all of our needs. Not only that but it felt like we'd made a friend in Jose by the time we left. That's true customer service. I'm giving this location one star because I have been to many T-Mobile stores and this one has continuously bad service. I have been to very busy stores with literally a line out the door and you can see the staff trying their best to help, this store has a bad vibe, when you come in to this store you feel like you are bothering them with your issue. Every time i come here there is another customer frustrated and asking for a manager, Yikes! I try to do everything online but sometimes you have to come in unfortunately. we came to switch over from ATT to TMobile, and they were a disaster!! They insisted we take new phones home for the weekend, and then come back to change providers. They also put on cases and screen protectors which they swore were free with the promotion. we only had to pay taxes up front. When we returned to switch over every thing, they discovered the sales person had neglected to put in our trade ins and therefore everyone had to be returned and charged correctly. That took over there hours!! Now we discovered that the so called free cases, screen protectors, etc, were not free and would be added to our monthly bill. Furthermore they had added unwanted insurance for another $38 a month without telling us. The manager was absolutely no help at that time. We are advised to meet with her to discuss all of the lies about the extra charges, but they don't make appointments and she isn't even there some days! My advice. is to avoid the La Cumbre store at all cost!! Corporate is concerned as well about their sales tactics. read more

I also called the store about 10 times to try and correct the address with them and no one picked up and when they finally did they said they'd call back in 10 mins. I'm going to give this facility three stars instead of one because the young man who helped me initially was very friendly, patient, and kind. He did his job superbly. I think his name was Manuel? This is for terrible customer service from the store manager, Daisy G., on the evening of 11/23. I received so much pushback and attitude from her. She said there was nothing she could do to help me, that I need to call the TMobile customer service number because the store alone cannot restore service to my phone, that part is true. Backstory: Yesterday, I visited another TMobile store and switched my provider from Verizon to TMobile and ordered the new iPhone, which would ship in about a week. I was given a new SIM card for my old phone to use while I wait for the new phone to arrive and then that night, cellular service to my phone was suspended spontaneously. I had to wait until I was off work today to visit the store for help. Daisy was lazy and just pushed me off to the customer service line and said I would simply have to wait a week without cellular service until my phone arrived. How is that acceptable?! Instead of focusing on finding a solution, she just blamed the other TMobile store, it wasn't her problem to fix. It was a fight just to get her to finally call the customer service number for me. I had explained to her that I tried calling the number earlier but I never received a call back. It took a few minutes for her to reach someone and restore service to my phone. An hour in the store and in the end, it only took approximately five minutes or so for her to call and help me. It was like pulling teeth to get her to help me (her job, isn't it?). She gave excuses after excuses as to why she couldn't help. After the call, she curtly said it was taken care of without looking at me and moved on to the next customer. I left the store without a word but a bad experience from Daisy G., the store manager. She definitely made me feel like an unwanted customer that was inconveniencing her. We drive across town to visit this store due to the elite level of polite service provided. It is clear that Javier leads by example, and his entire team rises to the challenge. Y'all want me to be honest? Okrrrr here we go. I went in there because my digits app wasn't working for my business. First off, when i go in there, I was greeted by a young gentleman who was occupied with his phone. Not work phone, personal phone. How would I know this? He was playing pool on it, and he literally told me as my phone was loading, "yeah I'll just be on my phone while that does its thing." Umm..k. He deletes and re downloads the app and it starts working. Great! Now let's see if it works. It didn't, and I'm not blaming for a glitch in the app, after all, the POS app is not his fault; but he then says.. "I've never used this app..i don't know why it's working.." UHHHH K. A couple men walk in, they get helped before my app even starts working, and well that's pretty much it. I've been paying an 10 extra dollars a month for this app, which in retrospect is not that much, but to not even get suggestions as to helping me or even taking it off my account? I went to go get AirPods and a screen protector replacement and the sales associate Emily was on the phone with her COLLEGE COUNSELOR having me waiting for 20 minutes. I actually had time to go ahead and take a video of her on the phone with her counselor. To think things wouldn't get worse, while in the middle of pandemic, Emily was both not wearing a mask and coughing and whipping her snot on the screen protector making me request that she doesn't install it. I've actually never been more disgusted in my life. I wish I could attach the the video but can't cause yelp doesn't have that feature. No employees here, Just children playing on their phones. I just went here to get a business account set up. The young lady admitted she didn't know what to do and asked for her supervisors help. The supervisor said he'd help in just a minute. Instead he just sat down playing on his phone with two other employees. She constantly had to ask for his help, and after 25mins we weren't even past the 1st screen of the application. Its obvious he is just a child and he's been given the responsibility of running a store. Maybe you should hire someone with a real work ethic to be in charge. This is the first time I will complain about this store. Yesterday I came to get a replacement screen cover for my phone. I walk in to the store. The 3 employees that were there all saw me but never acknowledged I was waiting to be served. Mind you I was the 3rd person in the store. When another customer that was there went to sit next to she was freed up. But all she was doing was looking at her media not caring at all. Anyways she finally got to me at first she went to get me my screen cover. Started to change for me. Then one of her fake nail Flys at me and all she said was well "I was going to take them off anyways." Well was glad I was paying attention but then notice that she had the wrong cover. Apparently she didn't know anything of her product, but also she didn't care. While trying to tell her they usually order my cover cause they never have it in stock for some reason. Well she was being to lazy to even do that and on her social media the whole time she what she called interacting. I really didn't feel like driving all the way to other side of town. 6 months ago I went to T-Mobile store in Paseo Nuevo in Santa Barbara, CA asking if they have any deals to bring my 4 lines from another company. They offered me to cover all the remains balance on the phones I have purchased on the other company and also $200 for each phone I upgrade with them. I thought it was a good deal and decided to bring my business to T-Mobile. BIG MISTAKE. The $200 credit is a very shady credit because they say it is credit every month on my account but my bill is always different and more expensive. The balance they told me it will Come in a card with the credit and takes 5 weeks to arrive. It's being 6 months already and nothing came so far. Went to the store a couple times for the last few moths and the manager and Tony the sales man always come with an excuse saying that they are resolving the issue. Today I lost my patience and decide to spread the word on this SCAM. I WISH I HAVE NEVER LEFT AT&T. This is my first post and I'll put my word everywhere until they come with a solution. read more

I work across the parking lot at Great Clips and the employees here are always welcoming when I go in for any reason. There was a situation with my bill and Fredo helped me out. Even though it wasn't the outcome I wanted, he was able to give me a great deal on 3 gifts I got for my kids for Christmas. I love that you don't have to pay for any phone or accessorie full price up front, and the payment plan is ridiculously inexpensive. Im basically paying $10 a month for $800 worth of gifts for my kiddos. The phone plans they have here are also inexpensive and I never get a dropped call. I have 4 phone lines with 10 gigs of data on each line for $120. They don't always have that plan but they ALWAYS have different deals that are similar. read more

I purchased a prepaid seem card promotion they advertise for at $30 for 3 weeks unlimited SMS and MMS and 100 calls + 2 GB of high speed internet. Turned out there is a $10 activation fee that is not disclosed in the offered promotion so it is a $40 promotion NOT $30 as their false advertising claims!!!! Well turns out the number they gave me was assigned to another person. Now I am calling back the store on State St. and the guy told me he couldn't do anything for me!!! Well that is rich considering they screwed up. I call their customer service in India and they too cannot do anything about it. Well that settles it and T-Mobile is no longer on my list of carriers much less from that store. I went in to order my new iPhone 7 and asked if I could do the trade in promotion that they were offering but instead of giving me the specifics of how the promo went, the guy was questioning me why I wanted to trade it in and told me I should just pay off my phone keep it and sell it because I would get more money out of it. After ordering my phone I hadn't e-signed yet so I then I called my sister and my brother in law who I share an account with to tell them I ordered my iPhone 7 & how I would be doing the installment plan, but hen my brother in law told me the sales associate ripped me off. He made me realize that I wouldn't be able to sell my iPhone 6 as much as what their promo was offering which was trading in my iphone6 and receiving the iPhone 7 for free (but not including the tax and an upgrade to a 126gb). So we called customer service and they asked why the sales guy didn't want me to do the promo and get a free iPhone 7, and we couldn't answer that question. So customer service cancelled my phone order and they told us they were extending the promotion for the weekend and should go back to the store to get the promo. Obviously I didn't trust this store at five points, so I went downtown at Paseo Nuevo . The downtown store was amazing, more knowledgable, gave me all the details of how the promotion worked& was very helpful in all aspects of making sure I was receiving the best deal. Time wise, I went to the five point store and there was only two associates helping about four people in the store, they were closing in an hour and a half, but it seemed like only one of them knew somewhat of what they were doing, and the other one seemed like he was still in training.. Downtown they had a sign in sheet since there was over ten people there and four sales associates, and they were closing in 30min yet their customer service was better. Never going back to the five point store again. It seems like the five points sales team just pushes you to spend more money rather then helping you save money.
