I have not actually used Frontier. However, my conversation with their sales rep was frustrating as she was unable to answer basic questions . They only offer 6M max speed in my area which is a joke. Cannot recommend. read more

The absolute WORST "communications" service I've ever experienced. I work from home and depend on the internet for my employment. On Friday and Saturday we noticed trucks on the corner that had frontier contractors stickers on their doors. On Saturday, our Internet service was interrupted so we drove to the corner and asked those guys what they were doing? They said some thing about adding new wires but kind of seemed like they didn't really know what they were doing. Needless to say I've been using my phone hotspot for work since Saturday because there has been some royal screw up and our service has been off since Saturday. Today is Wednesday. We've called multiple times and no one can even tell us why we don't have service, after we've had it for years. Technicians were supposed to show up between one and five today and didn't , so we called and the person we spoke to didn't even know what was going on with our service. She asked us what was wrong?! UHHHH WTF. We're doing everything we can to not use this company ever again and it may end up being that we all get our own hotspots because, sadly, this company is our only option where we live at the moment until our Starlink becomes available. read more

So I never had a problem with frontier in Ventura county so I was excited when Santa Barbara started to offer frontier internet service in my area. Called signed up for their deal and was repeatedly told no other service would be added to my account. Low and behold I get an email the next day confirming an appointment to set up Dish service. Ummmmm I was assured that NO OTHER SERVICE would be included. Now I'm second guessing the service to be installed next week ( just internet service dumb asses) what part of the just internet service did you not understand? On second thought I am going to stop the installation for next week. I don't trust you anymore. So sad Update: this Eva who keeps responding to all these Yelp reviews is a useless template. Internet speeds so slow that it reminds me of dial-up from back in the day. Customer service is SO bad. The employees are nice enough on the phone but they are not trained well at all. They make consistent mistakes. I've called them 4 times in the last two months and each time they make a mistake in my bill. Each time they tell me they will send me a confirmation email and each time, I never receive one. Wait times for chat online are ridiculous and customer service is closed on the weekends. This is SOOOO frustrating!!!! My Frontier landline went dead this morning and is still not working (It is now 4:28 p.m.). I've called all the 800 numbers associated w/ Frontier and keep getting the same infernal voice loops...none of which offer a number to push for landlines!!! I finally called their business number and did finally get a human who then connected me with "technical support." Ha!!!! Wrong number!!! The poor lady on the other end said that she gets these calls all day long and can't get hold of a human at Frontier! Also, the voice loop lady says that my phone number and last 4 of my soc. don't line up!!!! WTF?!!! Still, no human to speak with! I had to give this a star. Just to write this. This company (FRONTIER COMMUNICATIONS) is the worse company to use. I have my business lines with them and I have to call in every 2 or 3 weeks to get the lines fixed and my call forwarding as well. I have to wait for them to fix the line about 4 days. As a business I have lost clients do to this. I try going to other companies but its been a pain to get what I have with this company. This company is a big mess. People don't know what they are doing and the supervisors are idiots. So I am still with a company that is the worse phone service in the USA. I am just about to give up on this company. read more

Wish I could give them 0 stars! By far the worst internet and customer service I've ever experienced! Internet service only worked half the day and went out every single night from 8pm-8am. Customer service seems nice on the phone but aren't helpful at all, as they are now trying to charge me $100 nearly 2 months after canceling my service with them. read more

We depend on Frontier at our church for our "alarm" system (because there's no other option). The service failed when it rained. It took several weeks and a few "service" calls to get service restored. A friend of mine has "Lifeline" phone service through Frontier. When it rains, the service becomes spotty and, more often than not, fails completely until the rain has stopped. I personally don't use a landline anymore, since Verizon sold the local monopoly to Frontier and I experienced the unreliable service that Frontier provided. read more

Frontier deals in shady business, and billing practices... they charge, and over charge disabled customers who should benefit from Ca Lifeline discounts... they nickel and dime their customers, and don't give any type of confirmation about what you call about... they say it takes 3 billing cycles to receive a credit owed... and offer no real justification for that... Xfinity offers FAR better service, faster internet speed, and way fair pricing... PLEASE, don't get caught up in the Frontier abyss... you will be sorry... read more
