I stopped by the T-Mobile store in Milpitas yesterday and had a great experience. KT was the associate who helped me, and his customer service really stood out. He was very patient, asked the right questions, and took the time to explain everything without rushing me. He helped me choose a clear ZAGG case for my phone (about $54.99), and explained the lifetime warranty and how to activate it so I'm covered. Honestly, I haven't had the best experiences at some other T-Mobile stores lately, so this level of service was really refreshing. KT was knowledgeable, professional, and made the whole process easy. Because of this visit, I'll definitely be coming back to the Milpitas location in the future. Great customer service like that makes a big difference. read more

2/1/2026 Today I got a text saying I am going to be charged $61.00 for not returning my gateway on time, when I tried to return it at the Milpitas store. The lady refused to accept it, so I called and printed out a UPS label and dropped it off the same day. There is no way I returned it late. I called today to ask about the fee. Raya said I should NOT see a fee on my bill. I will keep you posted. 2/12/2026 Long story short, I'm not getting a refund because of that store associate who refused to take my return. This store should be zero star. I came here in a Friday night to upgrade one of my line to iPhone 14. They told me I can trade in my Samsung S20 FE for $800 towards the new iPhone 14. Great, let's do that. After I signed all the paperwork, the sales lady brought out a charger, screen protector, and phone case, I told her that I didn't need them. She said " are you sure? They are free!" I am surprise and of course I would take them if they were free. So I paid the sales tax after trade in. When I got home, I found out the "free" gift were actually costing me over $120, I felt like I was an idiot for paying $39.99 for a screen protector. I was supposed to get an instant trade in credit of $300, and they deduct those "free" gift from my instant credit. Furthermore, the added an monthly insurance plan for $19.99 without my permission. I called the store and told them I need to return those "free" gift, the lady refused and said she wouldn't help me if I don't buy those super expensive accessories. This is an excellent store with very professional and courteous staff. Jesus helped us today and my mother who is an immigrant from another country was not understanding our prices and tried to communicate with him. He told us this "isnt a flea market or Walmart" when we were asking about promotions, and started to give us rude treatment throughout the entire discussion and gave us judgemental looks. I recently had to separate my phone line from someone else's and decided to have my own, although I found myself in a complicated situation- me and the other account holder weren't in the store at the same time. With the help of Francisco and placing a three way phone call with customer service, we were able to make it happen and smoothly move my number and bill over to my own personal account. Pretty bad place to go. We came in all set to move our family from Verizon to T-Mobile and we got in and they were pretty busy. None of the sales associates looked at us or said hello or anything, so we just sat down and waited. Finally one of the associates were free to help us, and when he did ask us what we needed it was a kind of tone that we were an inconvenience. So we had a family to switch over of 6 people, but only 4 people were there and we wanted to take care of the rest the next day, all we basically got was nope can't do it you would have to do one plan and then switch to a different plan the next day so you would get two different bills. So we were kinda discussing what to do, and he walks away to go help someone else, no I will be right back to check on you, nothing just walks away. We went over to Great Mall T-Mobile store and they thought outside the box and got it done for us no problem, and the customer service was way better. First of all, finding this location is a big pain. Its next to AT&T location, don't go by what Waze, Apple Maps or Google Maps suggest. Yes, you will find lot of parking. Talking about manager and their sub-ordinates, I don't have words. They are incompatible, incapable, ineligible and unproficient for their job. I don't know WHO we spoke to, but don't tell customers you have something in stock. We had called so many different stores and this was the only one that said they had it. I had to go to T-Mobile 3 times to get a prepaid mobile plan for the month I was in town. There was a lot of conflicting solutions from each associate (Anthony, Alicia, Francisco, Tony) on how to go about ameliorating the situation, and I received a lot of resistance and lack of cooperation from the initial person (Anthony) that gave me the wrong plan. Here's what happened: 11/30 - I come in and tell Anthony I want to buy a prepaid mobile, same as the last plan I used back in May. They tell me that plan isn't available so they set me up with a similar one. During this time Anthony is training a new employee (didn't catch his name) on how to do this. Payment is made and everything is sorted; they check that I can make calls, etc and I leave. 12/2 - My phone suddenly stops being able to make calls, and I have to use my Skype credits. I take my phone into T-Mobile for the second time and Alicia discovers that the associate trainee had installed a Tablet plan instead of a mobile plan, and because I already paid for the plan she wasn't able to call customer service as it required a Manager to refund my payment. She said if she went through customer service then it would switch the plan, but I wouldn't get my money refunded. 12/3 - The following day I return for the third time and Anthony is working. I told him I spoke to Alicia yesterday and I said I needed to see Tony the manager. Anthony says the trainee made a mistake and I told him as his trainer he should've checked his work before leaving. Anthony doesn't acknowledge this or recognize that his negligence contributed to the problem. He then ignores my request to grab Tony the manager and he calls customer service. I stop him and tell him not to do that because Alicia specifically said that wasn't going to work (Also, Alicia said customer service takes about 45 min to get through). We go back and forth and I keep insisting and he finally grabs Tony. During the entire exchange Tony comes out of his office 2 times to give instructions, theres a ton of miscommunication. While Anthony is still on line with customer service (he had hung up at one point and Tony told him to call customer service again) Francisco starts his shift and he jumps onto the project and starts doing work on his tablet. Eventually they both are able to cancel my initial tablet plan, issue a new sim and proper mobile plan. However, when I request a receipt they can't print it out. Not wanting to go through this whole ordeal without a receipt I then request Tony to come out and just give me a verbal confirmation and explanation of the new bill. Anthony resists and says that's not necessary. I insist again as Alicia said only the manager can refund the payment. He balks at that and replies that Alicia is not the manager and she doesn't know the protocol. I then remind him that this is my third time coming here and I wasn't leaving until I sorted everything with the manager. Finally Tony comes out for the third time, we have a quick exchange regarding the refund, cost of new plan, other specifics and I leave. Conclusion: Though I'm sympathetic to these kind of mistakes - as they do happen - I was really disappointed at the lack of protocol and understanding between the associates on how to correct the problem. This, coupled with the overall lack of cooperation and resistance from Anthony for my repeated requests to speak to the manager really made the process painful and drawn out. Thirdly, not being accountable to the mistake, not apologizing or showing a desire to prevent this from happening to other customers is what lead me to write this review. Next time I'm in town I will be seeking other providers for my mobile plan. read more

These guys were able to return my note 7, refund it on the spot, call customer service on behalf of me to remove the device. add $100 from Samsung and refund my monthly fees. and refunding all the accessories. this would take 2 hours in another store. ask for Alex he is the best. dont go to great mall they are the worst. read more
