I can't believe I am saying this, but I had an excellent experience at Verizon Wireless last night…read more My mother was ready to upgrade to her first smartphone, so I brought her in to try out the different phones and get a feel for what she wanted. We were helped by Jenn S. who was patient and answered all of our questions. I worked for VZW for 5 years, so I was able to use a lot of my experience to sort of break down to Jenn quickly and easily what we wanted. Jenn understood what we were asking and didn't try to upsell us - nor did she try to undersell us. She didn't dwell on the T&C or minute details that we were already aware of but she did make sure to point a few key things out, which was very helpful. We shared with her some of our concerns and she was able to address them directly. We wanted to upgrade to the unlimited everything plan and add a fourth line for my brother in NC but weren't sure how to go about it without having to come back another day. She offered to active my mom's now-old phone on a "new" line and add my brother on so he could just go into a local store and port his number back to VZW. We'll see how the bill looks but as long as everything is as it should be, I will sing this woman's praises. She was the perfect sales rep for our needs.

I don't have a lot of kind things to say about AT&T. One of my brothers has had their family plan…read moreforever and is very satisfied. My other brother who is Autistic was taken advantage of by a former employee who sold him multiple lines and services he didn't need and costing him thousands before it was discovered when he became ill. AT&T corporate has made getting his money back very complicated and difficult. When I discovered what had happened and called AT&T, I was given the run around by several AT&T customer reps so I went to the store where the fraud began. The manager and sales associate responsible are no longer there but I was lucky enough to meet Brittney, a manager there who met with us a few times and had the same frustrations trying to navigate the situation. She was kind, concerned and put helping us over any other considerations. She made several calls to help us access my brother's account and explained what to expect. A few days later when I stopped in with more questions, she first asked about my brother's condition, and continued to help us as much as she could compared to corporate who only made things harder. If you need phone service, go to Brittney, I know from experience that she will be honest and do her best for you.
