Came in to activate my new Samsung S7. Daniel saw I have existing S4 phone so he asked informed me he could try to re-use S4 simcard on S7. After giving him the card, he used a special cutter to cut my S4 simcard to S7 smaller size. After a few adjustments, voila, my reduced S4 simcard fitted into new S7 saving me $25! Easily the best and smoothest experience I've ever had with a carrier. I'd been a loyal customer of Verizon since 2011 and had had enough with the data overages and charging me out the ass for 4 Gigs (and their "Carry Over Data" scam). Since I was paying literally the same for 4 Gigs with Verizon, I decided to research T-Mobile's "1" plan. I'm actually very surprised that it turned out to be exactly what they promised. Unlimited talk, text, & data for $70 a month. Sounded good to me, but I wanted to be sure, so I popped into the nearest store and things only got better from there. I met with a nice girl named Vida and she was super helpful, well informed, and very friendly. Made the transition seamless and I was probably in and out in about 30 minutes. Worst Customer Service Ever. I go in and almost all the phone are either not working or they had the plastic facade cover on it. What's the point of going into a T-Mobile STORE if the main physical product they're selling is unavailable? I walked in and went directly to one of the phones I wanted to check out. (Motorola Cliq) And the device was locked. The associate came over and asked what I was looking for. And my friend and I told him were specifically there to check this phone out, but it was locked. He explained how they sometimes need an account to unlock and use their display phones. AND THEN WALKED AWAY. My friend was like, "so... is he gonna come back?" She finally got fed up and asked another associate to log into the phone so we can actually see it working. After waiting around for a few minutes we finally got to see the phone I was there for. Overall, the associates seemed to have very little ability in helping a customer find what they're looking for. The store itself is almost useless, since almost all plan info can be answered online or over the phone. And the only place that should have all the T-Mobile phones only have a handful or functioning ones. read more

SKYLER & RJ ARE SUPERB! I came to this TMobile and inquiring about the Timex phone for my son 3 weeks ago. Skyler, TMobile representative, was outstanding. You can sense that he has passion for what he does, he was very tech savvy and willing to help, he guided us through the Timex phone, we felt his genuine and sincere desire to help find the right solution and no necessary a sale. We ended up bought the Timex. RJ had a similar Timex for his daughter and he was very helpful in giving us more practical ins and outs about the watch. He shared with us how he used the Timex and what's to avoid. We came back a few days later to ask more questions and they, Skyler and RJ, were so helpful to us. T-Mobile = BIG Disappointment! Watch out for over-billing it's a problem and will recycle throughout the months unless you are on top of it and even then it's an issue not easy to resolve. This time my telephone call was directed to oversees customer service & the representative was very difficult to understand. After several minutes of being asked to hold the conversation became even more confusing so again, I'll call back and maybe get lucky enough to get someone who can help resolve this over-billing issue. 13 years with T-Mobile and problems have occurred & reoccur however the "over billing " is something to really watch for and of recent it's apparently happening way too-often. I don't understand how this store has four stars. This is the worst service I have received anywhere! RJ is utterly rude. We walked out, no one needs to put up with his necessary attitude and tricks. He first lied to a family member about our family plan so we would sign up on something else just so he can get his commission and was incredibly and utterly rude. When I wanted to complain to the manager he replied--with attitude--of course that his manager wasn't there. No manager at the location, this is of course on top of the fact that most of the time there's few people working there and you end up waiting for a long time. A time prior there was another girl there (Asian descent) who wasn't so much as rude as she just seemed miserable at her job. When we first arrived she didn't even get out of her chair to greet us. She never smiled. She just was not interested in helping at all. When I asked her about the phones, she pointed to the display of phones around the store and said "these are our phones." Basically, just look. We had a million questions to ask about the quality of the phones. We purchased elsewhere. With a Tmobile store at every corner, I refuse to spend my money at a place where I don't trust the employees and or they have no desire to help me. I will never be back. read more

If you are looking for someone here with the best customer service, RAND is your man. Recently I moved to California from Texas so my expectations of the service I pictured would have been terrible. I was delighted to find that Rand was the exception. He went truly above and beyond for me and my girlfriend. My girlfriend is from thailand and does not understand some of the american ways, thus was taken advantage from another provider. Rand being the professional he is, he saw what was happening and stepped in and made things right. He took the initiative of being on the phone with provider and walked us step thru step explaining as he's going. He made things nice and simple for us, perfect for my girlfriend. I went in 3-4 months ago to check in on their new programs. The sales person obtained my information, ran credit. I was approved however I had decided not to move forward on that day. I was assured my application was shredded. Some time ago I received a bill for over $300.00. Called customer service. They assured me that it will be cleared and not to worry. Last week I received a call from a collection/ attorney's office and the lady very rudely demanded payment. I again called customer service and was told since it has moved to collection, t Mobil is not able to help. Supposably they ended up assigning to their fraud department. This situation has happened to me twice in the past year. DO NOT COMPLETE THEIR APPLICATION. UNLESS YOU ARE SURE TO BE GETTING THEIR SERVICE ON THAT DAY. TRULY THEIR SEVICE IS HORRIBLE. All the stores are very nice, however this one stand out. I like dealing with Reagan. She totally took care of me and help be drop Sprint. The store did not have my Ipad in stock, but they were able to hook me up with one next day sent to my home. Reagan is very detailed and assisted in picking out a new phone, found a couple of programs they had for better pricing and was overall the hardest working person I have dealt with in a while. Sad to see the bad reviews but I'm not surprised. Some of the guys who work there seem pushy (except for the manager oddly enough). This location is super busy with students, families, and foreigners who cant speak english (not being racist but it SLOWS down the service). This is why I go to REAGAN. SHE is the only blonde female working here and she is super sweet and excellent at what she does. She's given me so many tips, hooked me up so well, and been extremely patient with me.. I have been in here literally hours and she will devote her time completely when its your turn. She has never been pushy or tried to sell me anything more than I needed (she knows Im a student and trying to save myself and my family money). Call ahead, make sure she's there, try to make an appointment with her. When Im in Irvine, I only go to her with my needs. If I'm in Orange visiting my parents, I go to the tmobile on the corner of tustin and katella or Main and Chapman. Excellent service there as well. read more

Customer service IS a waste of time at this location & their attitude makes you feel as if it's a chore for them to answer your questions. My parents recently switched from AT&T to T-mobile. They have been retired for over 5 years and learning the smart phone and/or I Phone doesn't happen overnight. I walked in with my dad into the T-mobile store to help get a new smart phone for my mom. Within minutes one of the T-mobile reps (I think her name was Anne) was able to find a phone perfect for my mom's needs, didn't upsell me, and programed everything so that it was ready to use. Going forward, my mom let me know she went back to T-mobile on her own to see if she can learn other features (i.e. synching her email to her phone). yea, prob easier for our generation, but any service-oriented person who has the patience to educate is always a plus and much appreciated. keep at it. read more
