Needed a new phone. Needed a new phone while staying in town. I thought I could last long enough until I got home, but this was not the case. Had already done my "homework" on what I was seeking in a new phone for work and outdoor activities. As I entered this store, I was greeted by an associate who informed me of the minor wait and took my name for the wait list. When my came up to be seen, Devon was my associate. He was very polite, professional and friendly. He listened to me while I explained what I was looking for. This is for the Tmobile in between the Starbucks and Chipotle. I wanted to trade in my older iPhone for a newer one, I did a similar deal at a different location a few months back. You get up to $300 credit towards a new iPhone with older iPhone trade in. The sleepy guy that helped me said they didn't have that promo anymore and I told him that I just did this on another phone, so he asked his coworker/manager standing next to him and she blankly mumbled something and he was like "No". I asked are the promos by location?? He was like No, it's just not going on anymore. If the promotion isn't around anymore, I get it, no problem. But I had the urge to go to another Tmobile location and they immediately confirmed that yes the promotion is valid. ALSO the Tmobile website has a huge slideshow of the promo as soon as you long in (See Screenshot). Good location, just bad customer service. Ugh. read more

I always try to come to this location whenever I need to go to a T-mobile store. As a T-mobile customer for 10+ years, I've been to many different stores and can say that I've always had the best/easiest experiences at this location. The staff here are knowledgeable and are great with answering questions about phones and plan options. They're also helpful when you're indecisive like I am about phone upgrades. The representatives in the store are helpful and genuinely want to do what's best for their customers. After years of using their services I've tolerated them because of their coverage. The company however is trash. The workers in-store clearly care more than the people who are reached over the phone to rectify issues. Anyone's who's spent five minutes in the store can see that. Unfortunately they do not have the authorization to fix the real problems so you're forced to call the dreaded "hotline". Once you call you're immediately insignificant. You're funneled to everywhere but where you need to be. Good luck. If you're considering switching, I strongly caution against it. T-mobile as a company is absolute garbage. Poor phone support and shitty equipment. Not worth the headache. Horrible experience trying to get information on a variety of phones. There were four people in the store -- three employees and myself. The employees were so busy talking amoung themselves that my interruptions with questions were treated with distain. To make matters worse, the employee that was obstensibly helping me had zero product knowlege. Finally he told me to visit support.t-mobile.com to find the answers myself. Only problem was that the store is located in an area with very poor t-mobile service. So I couldn't get my phone to go to the web site. Wores, why should I? He had a computer, could have answered my questions, etc. I asked for specs on the phones that I was considering. Couldn't answer those questions. I asked if they had cut sheets on the phones. No. Again, directed to support.t-mobile.com. I left in discuss. I've been to this store in the past (more than 1 year ago) and received excellent service. I'm not sure if it's new managment, or just this group of employees that were the problem. But I will not be back. Thankfully there's another t-mobile store not far from where I live. Employees completely lie and say "they'll hold a phone for you" then sell it without even holding it and they say "it was a communication error" when something was wrong with there system crashing and not in any way your fault. Worst store to go to nothing but bad things to say because anytime i've come here it's nothing, but issues. I recommend getting the hell away from T-Mobile as a whole in general. We spent two thousand dollars on phones there and they refuse to allow a return on a ten dollar accessory. Really??? Also, they told me all of my data would be restored to my new phone if I activated it from the cloud, but my personal music was not. They should have told me that. I had a sneaking suspision that the T-Mobile store in Everett, WA was just being Lazy... Man was I right! What a crock!!! I detest lazy service establishments, that tell me that the problem with my phone is a known issue on your phone & they're working on it. Liar Liar Pants on Fire... Everett T-Mobile, "You're just a bunch of Lazy Bums"!!! I stopped by this location in Hillsboro and they fixed the issue with my phone. Managers dont know what they are doing and either do the emoloyees. I signed up for tmobile here. They told me my early termination fee money id get would happen right away (3 months later i still havent gotten it). They ordered my phone wrong so my Brand new iphone 6 i had to go to a different tmobile and have them ship it back to tmobile and give me a brand new phone again. They all lie and just want u 2 signup. Its been non stop horriable fighting with tmobile on the phone over all the mess ups this store did to the accounts. read more

Activated my tmobile iphone6 at this store. Customer service is great and the staffs in this store are knowledgeable. They helped me transferred all my contents from my old phone to the new phone and they answered all my questions. I liked the $100 data plan for 10 gig of data up to 4 lines. Never worry about data over usage charge because there is none (throttle back to slower network on the edge 2g network) And I also learned that with this plan, you can travel around the world and have unlimited 2g data usage and texting in the foreign country with tmobile network. Even though it will be slow, but at least you have the internet where there is no free wifi around. read more

The WORST! I have been waiting for a cash refund since February 14, 2017. It is March 8, 2017. I paid cash. They would not return my cash because of "store policy" that they will only refund up to $250 in cash. I was told it would be 10 business days and that the store manager has to cut a check. I called the store last week about it and Amber told me that she would not even listen to me, because she is not a call center representative. She was dismissive, condescending, and rude. $530 is a lot of money to me. I called customer care last week and they "started an investigation" for me. I called customer service again today for an update and the representative had no record of my refund or the investigation, so she called the store for help. I did not get the retail store person's name but he was a terrible person. He took no ownership of being a representative of T-Mobile, or the retail store in which he "works." He belittled the call center representative, who so far is the only person who has attempted to help me, so thanks to her. The call center representative suggested I go to the retail store and speak to the manager directly. The retail store guy started calling me "brother" and telling me that the other representative doesn't know what she is talking about. I told him I would rather not have to come up there and picket in front of the store, and he told me he would have me arrested for "threatening" to picket, to protest the stealing of my money. I currently have no recourse, none of the money they took from me, and am at a loss for how disappointing this whole waste of time has been. So a corporation took my money and is now threatening to lock me up for speaking up. Warning: do not spend money with T-Mobile. Buy your hardware from a trusted retailer. What scumbags, everything priced double so that "discounts" seem great and you are happy to sign $1000's away for a cheap phone you could get online for 1/3 the cost. The employees are trained not to help you but to be confusing and obtuse, then to take the maximum amount of money from you possible. TELL THESE COMPANIES HOW YOU FEEL. SUPPORT A FREE MARKET AND DON'T SIGN CONTRACTS! They behave the way they do because they can, they know you will not change service because of contract severance fees. And they know that all they need to do to get new customers is to mark up a $200 phone to $400 and give you $100 off. Remember folks you are not just buying a phone, you are signing a contract worth over $2000 in most cases. Imagine you walk into a bakery that had written a totally fake price on everything, with the real prices at the bottom in font size 7, then secretly added items onto your order if they thought you weren't paying attention, and then charged $400 if you tried to shop at a different place at any time during the next 2 years. What I want: A fair, clear price that does not change, honest information, the right to start and stop service without penalties. And from customer service I want knowledgeable, regular people who are friendly and honest, who are trained to be helpful and who can get me the products I am really looking for. (I had to repeat 4 times that i just wanted the cheapest android phone, this simple transaction took 45min of my life and cost way too much). This crap rating is not only for Mario and the gang here at the Cornell store, but for T-mobile in general, and Verizon as well. (I have not tried other major services, but i get the feeling it is similar) I suggest Cricket, this is the only company actually looking to reduce cost, avoid contracts, and does not use pink flashing lights and trendy music blaring to make you feel like your having fun while getting ripped off.
