The two service agents were busy for about 20 min before the person being helped walked out in frustration. The clueless lady couldn't even send me an authentication text or get into my account. She couldn't remember whose phone we were trading in, color and repeatedly asked for the same info. She came back with a clipboard with someone else's number on it and she couldn't figure out why she couldn't see our info until I corrected her. They put my number on my wife's new phone by mistake . To correct this issue was a nightmare. They kept telling me my phone would take time to be processed through the system to make the "SOS" go away. A 12 year old would know SOS means not connected. So what logic was used to resolve this issue? NONE. 5 hours & sent to another store for resolution , which they couldn't fix & sent me back to the offending store. It has been over a week now, and my brand new iPhone 16 Pro is still not working. I switched from AT&T to Verizon just to get this phone and perhaps improve from the former service. What a mistake that was. When I returned to the store for the third time to complain about the phone not allowing me to send or receive messages or FaceTime, they apologized and said the first assistant that helped us in the store performed an improper install of the eSim. Austin the store manager and on the next visit, Austin assured me that the repair was done but that I needed to wait another 24 hours before the fix would take effect. We were then told 24-72 hours but it could be expedited if we called *611. The store refused to make the *611 call for me and we waited over a week with over a dozen calls to tech support that were a total waste of time. The phone still does not work. This is worse service and support than AT&T ever was and we will be returning the phone for refund this week. Look at the responses to this and other reviews of Verizon. They are all just cut and paste the exact words except for the addressed names. That's the care and concern of Verizon. A human probably never saw or reviewed the concerns of the customer comments. A bot probably responded to our reviews and it never went beyond that. My one star rating is not just 'Not good." It's Disgusting. read more

One star down which I will tell you why in a bit. So when we went in they asked us for our name as we made a reservation. There were a few groups being served and we waited probably just a few minutes. After we went to the booth, we just needed to change to a 5G sim card but it took awhile. I don't know how it or they need to process and download (I'm no expert) but it took a lot longer than I expected. That's why it was a star down. Again, I don't know what they need to do with the sim card before installing it into my phone but yeah...I thought it would be done in a few minutes but it took 10ish instead. However, our person was super nice and friendly and was quick when he came back with the card. They had sanitizer everywhere for you to use which was nice. read more

Ee have been with Verizon for over 25 years. Last November we bought 2 new Samsung S24's and a samsung watch(7) that was suppose to be free. From the beginning we have had nothing but trouble. We had to go into the store to activate them because the app was flawed and each spent an hour in the store on the phone just to get started. We again choose to have auto-pay and our monthly bill was suppose to be $257.00/month. In December we were told our bill was going to be $307.00, I called the and it was supposed to be fixed the next month with a credit. It wasn't. January came and the bill said we still owed $307.00 , so I stopped it the same store we purchased them from and spoke to a guy there where called the main office. We were suppose to get a credit on our February bill. When we got the February bill, it said we owed $600.00. We again went into the same store on 106th. They called the main office and they said we didn't activate the watch and apparently it had been working on bluetooth mode fir the last 4 months so they were charging us for a new watch. They said they couldn't help us. I called Verizon the next day and spoke to a supervisor who was suppose to credit us the $300 plus amount and we wouldn't owe anything for our March bill and owe about $200 for April. On March 4th we got a notice that we were again being billed $307 for March. We called and they said the credit was disapproved(cancelled). So they tried to credit us again for next month. At this point I would just like our money back and go to another provider. I don't feel like this is good customer service, do you? read more

Incomprehensibly incompetent! If you can imagine a corporate store with less intelligent people than Comcast-here you go! It has taken me hours to overcome the errors these people made. A simple reconnect of service due to incompatibility of phones created a labyrinth of errors. They actually created a new account after I had been down for two hours. Part of the reason why you should look for other cell phone providers is that Verizon is 2 to 3 times as expensive as their competition. The second reason is the incompetence of 90% of the staff. Literally 9 out of 10 people you speak with, especially at this store but only 80% online, have no idea what they are doing. Whatever you do stay away from this Verizon store. Absolutely terrible. Gave me the runaround and asked me to call the loyalty team. Then after talking to the loyalty team on hold for 30 minutes. We can only offer you to buy the phones at full remaining price and you lose your promotional value or you can turn in the phones with No termination fee. Mind you, I have already paid $3500 on these devices, NOT including the service plan. Absolutely disappointed on how they handle customers when it's there service issue. How do I give them 0 stars? My mom passed away. I called and told them to end service. In true Verizon form, they shut off just mom's line even though I told them to stop the account. So still had a line for her sister that wasn't paying. They changed the address to mine since I told them once the estate was settled, I would pay her bill. Then 4 months AFTER her death, after changing the address, after sending me the bill for my aunt's last month, they bill for a piece of equipment. I call and they tell me what it is. A wireless thing, I'm told to take it yo the nearest store. I live in a small town that has a store. They can't help me and say I have to go to this store. I come and they say they can't take back the equipment without power of attorney paperwork. I can pay her bill, cut off service, and change her address but BIW they need the paper. I say fine. You have a printer here right? Yes. I say great. I'll have the lawyer send me acopyand we can print it up. The manager keeps saying he needs a paper copy. I say yes, you can print it up. After 3 or 4 back and forth of this, he tells me he can't print it up. I ask what he will do once he has it, he said look at it. I ask, you won't keep it and file it away somewhere? He said no. I said then he can see the email. He said no he needs a paper copy. So i have to leave and find a printer, email it to them, print it up and go back to them with the paper back. I set it on the counter, he looks at it and then asks if I got it? HE JUST LOOKED AT IT??? I said you just looked at it. And this is their MANAGER. I pray when he loses his mom he gets someone just as helpful as he is. Now I've been waiting or 20 minutes waiting for help and all I need to do is turn this stupid wireless router. Today after leaving the cedar hills location, I was helped by Brandon. The atmosphere of this location was much lighter and happier. I could see that people were smiling and being truly helped. Brandon gave me so many options for how I can upgrade from my current broken phone and did not guilt me or bully me regarding my choices for insurance coverage or anything else for that matter. He was very helpful, compassionate, and was able to relate with me. He was excellent at multi-tasking, knowledge, and unique sales technique. This review is regarding Verizon in general and NOT this particular store. Employees at the store are nice. My problem with Verizon is that I tried to upgrade my phone and they've made it impossible. I invested nearly 3 hours of time in the store and on the phone. Twice, I ordered the phone and the fraud department canceled my order. It seems literally impossible for me to purchase a new phone. Update: I spent another hour+ trying to get someone in management to call me back. Someone finally said they would have a manager call me. That was yesterday. I'm sure no one will call me. They also said they couldn't find any reason my order would be marked fraudulent. No one I speak to thinks this should have happened but it won't get resolved because no one cares. read more

Brandon was AMAZING!!! Answered all my questions and helped get my daughter a new phone under warranty because her old one just randomly stopped working the other day. No damage or issues. It just stopped allowing her to call or text if she wasn't connected to WiFi. We tried everything. And Brandon spent awhile trouble-shooting the issue. We came to Verizon from AT&T, and we couldn't be happier. We literally had NO service with AT&T before, and we would just deal with it. Never thought to switch carriers. Stopped into the Tanasbourne location to talk with Verizon about 6 months ago, had the pleasure of meeting Brandon then and decided to transfer service and all our 6 phones over to Verizon based on his excellent customer service skills! We appreciate his continued help tremendously and for making sure my daughter has a reliable phone for after school activities and events. He deserves a big kudos for all his help! Fatima helped us out. She was very polite, respectful, thorough and met all of our needs. Of course they are going to try to upsell other items and get you to sign other contracts. That's their job. They are sales people that work for Verizon. If they are good employees, they will support the company as well as support the customer. Overall, it was a very good experience and one that doesn't tarnish the Verizon name. Her manager however was not as polite and accommodating. When she went to lunch, he came over to help us out and was not engaged and did not seem interested in helping us. All we were doing during her time out of the store was transferring all of our information from our old phones to our new phones and up to the cloud. That process was taking 30 to 40 minutes. Nonetheless, he really did not show that he wanted to help out. In the end, a good experience which will not stop us from returning to Verizon. The store is clean and well organized but EVERY time I go in there I feel like they're just trying to upsell me. For example, the second to the last time I went in, my phone was having problems connecting to anything that used data. I used my Spotify app to show the representative am example of the issue I was having and that turned into, "Oh you like music... you should totally get this $100 Bluetooth speaker!" Another time, they saw one of my driving apps and tried to sell me on something called a Hum. My car is brand new and has everything that the Hum offers so I clearly have no need for it and politely declined for that reason but the representative just kept at it and the next time I came in, a different representative did the same thing. First off. This is a neutral experience. Wasn't that bad but wasn't that great either. I went in an upgraded to the iPhone 7 since i was having troubles with my six. I work from my phone so I was determined to upgrade asap. I did get the upgrade but it required a 45 minute wait to even start the process. Also it took two weeks to receive my beats headphones. I informed the sales rep that id prefer to just pick them up at best buy across the way but he informed me they could do two day shipping. Long story short, it took two weeks and not two days. And i had to go down to the FedEx center in portland to pick them up. This is partly Verizon's fault and FedEx fault. The sales rep i worked with was very nice. He was friendly and knowledgeable, laid out all our options (and was not pushy about trying to upsell us on something we didn't want, which I appreciate). He made the changes he could at the store and gave us a written printout of some other options we could do by phone and the direct Verizon number for that. This Verizon store is a joke. My first experience was a couple of months ago. I went into the store and all I wanted was to simply buy a new iPhone. I waited for about 20 min. I am on a family members account (as a user, not authorized account holder) and when the associate looked into it, I was told about the past due amount needs to be paid before I can buy the phone. Note, they gave me account details on an account I'm not on, 2 I did not want to finance the phone, just wanted to buy one, but was turned away. 2nd. I went in today to move the phone I have from a family members account to my own and start a new family plan. I waited for 20 min to be told the family member needed to call customer service number to release the lines. I said I think that had already been done but wasn't sure. I was told they would not bother to call and see if that was the case unless I was sure. So again, this is the second time I left empty handed trying to give Verizon money after waiting. I know sometimes companies have policies in place and these associates are just doing their job, but there are a ton of things that can be done to bridge these issues and provide good service. I get the impression they get a lot of walk in traffic and are not interested in quality, but more so quantity. If you must do Verizon, go out of your way to find a different store. read more

Where do I begin... My wife and I were on our parents account but wanted to get our own plan. I spoke to a rep on chat and explained we wanted to do everything at once so we wanted to try and upgrade as well as get our own plan even know we were in contract. The ensure me we were good for a early upgrade and all we needed to do was transfer the phone numbers and we could go in to the store to get early upgrades... WELL WE DIDN"T GET THEM! We took time out of our day and went in to the store. Carlos was the rep assigned to helping us. We explain the situation and he started looking.... Carlos did nothing wrong but he informed us there was nothing he could do. Apparently you have to get a "offer" and we didn't have one . His supervisor came over and again we explained that the rep said there would be no issue with getting a early upgrade. The supervisor seemed like he could care less. He said yeah there is nothing we can do.. No sorry for the waste of time or sorry for the miscommunication just nothing! I had better things to do then to come to their store and waste my time. I have been in customer service and he clearly didn't care about us as a customer... I normally only use this store because they are corporate but we will never be back. I had one of the best and least stressful experiences today I have ever had at a cell phone store! Fatima helped us and gave me the quotes I asked for and didn't push anything! Once we had made our decision the process was quick and easy! The best part was that every other employee engaged with my two kids and kept them entertained while we were getting the service set up. They sang songs with my 3 year old and played with him. He giggled and was having an amazing time. My oldest explored all the electronics. When we were leaving I think every employee gave my boys high fives and said bye. Your store honestly took what was a stressful time and turned it in to a stress free, fun experience! Like most people... I dread having to go into the phone store. I've been a Verizon customer for 5+ years now- and never had any stand out moments. Pretty standard, easy going account. My iPhone 4 finally gave out after 4 years so I had to get one I had bought online activated. I put it off for weeks thinking I'd have to listen to some gimmick on upgrading and what not. I only had to wait 10 mins despite being so close to closing time (yes I was that a**hole- I thought the later I went the more likely I'd be able to avoid any pressure to upgrade). The person who helped me was the manager Charles- he was awesome. Very knowledgable & extremely helpful and efficient!! He cut my bill in half (no joke- from $110 to $60/month) without losing any features- in fact went from 450mins/month to unlimited! He also helped me set up myverizon (how did I go 5 years without this awesome app!?) and gave me some insider info on the new iPhone coming out in September and how it will change my plan if I were to upgrade. I was blown away, and actually look forward to any future visits! read more
