I had been searching for a new cell phone provider for a while. I was unhappy with dropped calls, inability to hear whomever I was talking to, and missed text messages. A friend of mine mentioned how happy she and her family are with T-Mobile. My daughters needed new phones, and I wanted to move my youngest over to my plan, so we decided to check out the T-Mobile Experience Store. We were greeted promptly upon entering. After a brief discussion on what we were looking for and hoping to achieve, we waited for a bit to be helped by an associate. Sonia is fabulous! She's very knowledgeable and personable. She was also very engaging with my daughters, which helped since we were there for quite a while. Transferring data isn't always quick! They were also kind enough to let us go grab food from the sandwich shop next door and eat while we waited. They had some cute leftover beverage glasses from a T-Mobile Tuesday giveaway and they let us each take one! By the way, how fun are T-Mobile Tuesday's?! I've saved money on DoorDash, Little Caesar's, 7-Eleven, and other amazing offers they drop on Tuesdays. It's always nice to save some money! We traded in two phones and the third was so old, they let my daughter keep it. My kids got new iPhone 16s and I got the new iPhone 17 Pro Max! Yay! The rebate for my old phone ended up taking a while, which Sonia warned me about. It actually eventually got denied, which I was also warned about, but Sonia walked me through the process and we resubmitted it. I was told it'd process in 10-15 days, but I think it was done in about 4. I was sent a link to a digital card via text and was able to pay off the device from my other provider quickly. I give 5 stars to the T-Mobile store in Rancho Today I went to the T-Mobile on foothill in Rancho Cucamonga and had the best experience ever. First I was greeted by Jay who was so warm with his greeting. He took me over to Francisco who went above and beyond in helping me. I got my upgrade phone, he transferred everything for me, explained things that I needed to know. What a big difference in these two young men. I know that Francisco represents T-Mobile with excellence. Thank you Francisco for taking the time to help me and to help me understand the phone. I really hope management sees this and recognizes Francisco for going above and beyond and being so sweet. Jay for his warm greeting, and as I was leaving the other employees said have a nice day. Who could as for more. I think the young man (wish I got his name) needs to be trained at the chino store. I think Francisco and Jay could teach them. But let me tell you what happened--I walked into T-Mobile, and the rep there was so confident that T-Mobile offered a better experience, he let me "test out" the service using dual SIMs. I got to compare Verizon and T-Mobile side by side. And honestly? It wasn't even close. T-Mobile's speeds were UNBELIEVABLE. In some areas, it was actually faster than my 1Gb home Wi-Fi! Plus, the cost? My bill was literally cut in half. Honestly, super disappointed in the service we received today. We have been with t-mobile since I want to say around 2019. Our phones are under a warranty plan that we pay extra for that covers phone damage from falls, water, etc. or phones just dying on yah. Over the last week my phone battery has been unable to hold a charge, randomly dying at 80%. We have been through the claim process before with my brothers phone, so I followed the same process, but filling it out with my situation. The claim prompted me to go into my nearest store to have them check out my phone. That brings us to today, I bring in my phone, explain the battery not charging/dying immediately situation, telling them that the claim prompted us to come in to have them check out the situation. The first employee told us that my phone screen was just damaged. Which both my dad and I knew to be untrue, as the screen was bulging on one side, paired with the battery issues we knew that to just be false. It was showing signs of a battery expanding/exploding. He then checked in with his supervisor, Charles, to see if what my Dad was saying was true. It was. However, when the employee brought Charles into the mix the entire tone of the conversation shifted. We were immediately told that I was "over charging the phone" which led to the depletion of its battery. As an apple phone user of quite literally a decade, this issue has never occurred. It's actually very well known to most tech users that the model of phone I brought in has had issues with batteries exploding. In addition, he then told us there was nothing they could to in store for us, that they do not handle claims, and we had to call the number on the T-Mobile site to receive assistance. Which is pretty funny because the site literally prompted us to go to a store to have them check it out and give us the next steps. Soooo, we called the number and sat on hold for 22 minutes. In that time, no associate checked in on us. In fact, an older woman who was shopping had to approach the corner of four workers (all on their phones) twice to receive help. In those 22 minutes, Charles made eye contact with my father and I numerous times before finally approaching us asking if we had made it through, even though it was quite obvious we had not. He then proceeded to call the claims number, telling them that my phone had a damaged /cracked screen, telling me, "it doesn't matter what you put it under, you can just get to go through by selecting any of them." Which is really funny because the site wouldn't let me submit it under the real claim of "battery issues, not charging", because guess what? It is actually extremely dangerous to ship a phone battery thats exploding. When my dad brought up the danger in shipping a leaking battery Charles said, "do you want me to help you or not? We ended up leaving because they wanted $99 for an issue I did not cause and it felt icky that they lied to just get the claim to go through. When leaving I mentioned how unfortunate it was that Charles did not even look up other alternatives to which he responded, "claims are not apart of my job". Funny... when t-mobile website says we need to go to you? Funny, how people pay for this coverage and you know nothing about it. He could've at least looked up my account and provided me with different routes of getting a new phone. I was definitely open to the idea of upgrading my phone when I was preparing to come in. All that was not even asked or considered during my visit. After all this, we went to the t-mobile in victoria gardens, one of their reps actually looked up my account info and saw that the phone was covered under a warranty, and I have a replacement coming in the mail this weeks for the low cost of 5$! A great example of what happens when you actually care about customers, understanding what they need, and doing your job instead of trying to pawn them off to a number (and going on your phone for a half hour). A quick search could've saved this whole awkward encounter. And no, I did not go into the gardens store telling them about the bad experience at their sister store. Came in with the same story I talked to Charles' team about, and walked out with EXTREMELY different results. read more

I went in the store right now and was refused service over me trying to return a phone "lady said since I had the return label I had to just drop it off at ups because they are not responsible if something happens to it" when we called a few days ago they said we can bring it in. Maybe they didn't want to help us because it was 7:30 and they close at 8... I don't know. I came into T-Mobile and Sonia & Christian were SO FREAKING HELPFUL in getting everything figured out. We literally tried logging into every cloud account in the world before Christian found some awesome app that transferred it all over. I'm a wedding planner with a wedding the next day so not having my recent messages or any of my contacts was stressing me the hell out! haha So thankful for them spending the time to get it all straightened out. Well only had this service a week or so now. I'm disappointed in the service I received at the store. We just received the bill and had to call in to sort it out. The lady lead us to believe she was being helpful when in turn I feel was trying to take advantage of us for a commission. She failed to apply the senior plan for my elderly mother. when we expressed that's what we were there for and she said she did. She failed to apply the new promotion for the phones and this is our first time on your network. And she did not apply the discount for having auto pay on the phone. She also told us we can't pay our phones off til after the 90 days or we won't get the promotion. Come to find out it was so she can get more money. It's a shame we walked out of the store happy thinking she was super helpful and realizing she was not at all. But your customer service rep on the phone was very helpful and cleared it all up. And extremely apologetic advising us this is not how they conduct business. Lesson learned next time do this process over the phone or internet. Never in the store. He then proceeded to keep the phone for himself and changed my account pin and security question. I am beyond saddened that this happened Just spent 4 hours at this location upgrading and transferring information from two old IPhones to two new ones. Not only where we helped above and beyond but the person helping us Jeffrey L was kind informative and patient. He worked extremely hard to make the experience pleasant and even took his lunch break late to ensure everything was done correctly. He clearly likes his Job and excels at it. I can honestly say that this T-Mobile store saved my opinion of this carrier. T-Mobile uses out of country customer service centers to assist when you call in for help. These people through no direct fault of their own, have no inclination how to truly assist you when you need anything outside of the script they've been given. Calling in was by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my entire life! That said, before I just decided to dump Sprint which is now T-Mobile, I went to the store on Foothill in Rancho Cucamonga as the last attempt to get my phone working with the new sim card. Lucky for me, Chris, the manager at this store is a legacy Sprint agent, and really knew exactly what to do to get my phone working. He literally spent an hour on my phone, and wouldn't give up until he got it fixed. The representatives at the store are all very helpful, and Chris is an excellent manager that makes sure you're treated with respect. Granted you may have an extended wait, but it's certainly worth it to get whatever you need done correctly. I highly recommend this store and Chris for all of your Sprint/T-Mobile needs! read more

Other than getting to their customers on time, they don't do anything else right! I went there to upgrade a phone, they made me an appointment, and called me when it was my turn (all good so far). Then the representative, Victoria, approached me. She was clearly not interested in anything other than completing the transaction (whatever, still all good with me). She then started to have issues with the transaction and made up a lie about how the camera on her iPad was not working so she needed to go to the back and grab a new iPad (clearly a lie, but still, whatever). She came back after 10 minutes and said there was an issue so she needed to call T-Mobile. She went behind the counter go make the call. She was on the phone for a good 30 minutes, then came back and said there was an issue with my credit check and I needed to call T-Mobile to speak with them. I asked her why couldn't she just hand me the phone, she made up something about it and insisted I needed to call (clearly a lie, because she could have handed the phone to me). I tried to reason with her but she had already mentally moved on to the next customer and said have a good day! So I went home, called T-Mobile, and was on hold for 45 minutes to get a chance to speak with someone, who told me something completely different. When I asked the manager to see if he can help out, he gave me the most retail answer ever: "my team is pretty good at figuring things out." Great service T-Mobile! Lol read more
