My wife talked me into switching from Verizon to T-Mobile and it's been nothing but a huge fiasco. The first associate passed us off to a second associate, who passed us off to a third associate as her shift was ending. They had promised to pay off my phone and give us a fair price on our trade in phones. But nothing they promised happened, including "making things right." They just made things worse! We spent at least four hours trying to get what we were promised, including two call backs, which didn't happen, and the payoff trade in credits we were promised. We were told that there was nothing they could do, despite their promises to "make things right." Plus, the manager was very rude and unprofessional. If you're looking for a cell phone provider, I recommend Verizon or any other company besides T-Mobile. They are no good! Update: Nothing that T-Mobile promised happened and as soon as we pay off whatever T-Mobile dishonest debt we have is paid off, we're moving on to a new cell phone provider that has some integrity. I went back to get my wallet that I accidentally left and their staff was unbelievably rude. They speak over me, instructed their employees not to talk to me, and threaten to throw me out of the store. I did not raise my voice. I did curse a few times. Gresham T-Mobile excellent service from Jesus. He was empathetic patient and very sincere with helping a 62 year old with iPhone. Three customers over 50 came in. (iPhone technology). days of land lines. He spent an hour with me. The other young man spent time helping an older lady. we seniors appreciate people like Jesus and the other young man who open the store. For providing us service and having patience with us not understanding the electronics. Jesus is my hero, I got my number back Jesus thank you. Employees were both busy but took a moment to see why we stopped in gave us or free scarves and then waited Until she completed customer transaction and cleaned counter with sanitizer before telling us to come over. TMobile 'pushed' me to buy a Nord OnePlus phone. This phone is GARBAGE! The very first call I made, after waiting for more than 30mins for a human (as we all do), was answered but the person couldn't hear me. This phone has only become more frustrating and literally stupid. The display shows the date as example April 022. What month do you know of that has 3 digits? That's where the stupid begins! When I use the Navigation app Waze, consistently, the voice is blank. Meaning, it says, it 500ft, turn (blank). I have to distract my driving to look at the phone (unlawful) to see which way to turn. Other apps turn themselves off constantly. And will only turn on again after a full re-boot of this utterly ridiculous phone. When I went to T-Mobile to trade in the POS, they knew about many problems with Nord but wanted me to buy a phone that would increase (a disgruntled customer) my bill from $54/month to $160/month. Not really sure if they think everyone is as stupid as the imbeciles T-Mobile hires for their stores, but that got my credit score of 835 to switch carriers. If T-Mobile wants to keep customers, their management might want to pay attention and take some action. Their employees don't seem to compute that customers pay their salaries! My Wife and I are both on the T-Mobile Friends & Family Plan. We love it. The Tech Support folks are always very friendly , knowledgeable & helpful. That said, we had to go to the T-Mobile Store on Burnside next to Applebee's here in Gresham today. This is the second time I've been fortunate enough to have had the same awesome T-Mobile Phone representative "Rene' " help me. He is extremely professional,knowledgeable, super friendly and really cared about making my experience @ T-Mobile the best it could possibly be. I would highly recommend anyone who is considering switching Carriers, or just starting out, to go to this T-Mobile location; and it wasn't just he who was really cool... I must say- I had been a customer for years here, up until I had to move overseas... and even then, whenever I come back for a visit (such as right now) this store is where I go to in order to be taken care of for my time stateside. I am always treated with kindness and respect, but with welcoming warmth rather than 'sales pitch attitude'. I have to shoutout René, Samantha, Ginger and Adam- seriously, these guys are great at what they do. They know their numbers, they listen keenly to you and observe your needs, they work to find what is best for YOU. Every time I walk in I have been greeted with an incredible attitude and that makes me HAPPY as a client and I actually look forward to going to deal with errands for my mobile phone rather than dread it... it's certainly the people there that make it this way. My Dad is not the most tech savvy person and we finally convinced him to upgrade his prepaid Trac phone. We had 20 minutes before a church event so we went to this T Mobile store. It was very busy and the wait was going to be too long given our time constraints. However, Dustin the manager still found a way to get us the information we needed and made us feel welcome. We came back a few days later and Rene walked us through the whole process of switching. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. When it came time to port the number Dustin and Rene had to trouble shoot a difficult Trac phone process. Rene spent hours working with Trac phone to deal with the fact that my Dad didn't have the account information. He did all of this after we had left and kept us in the loop through the whole process. I don't live close to home so it means a lot to know that my Dad can go to this store and get help using his new phone in a such a warm and welcoming place. Wow...the best customer service person I have ran into since I can remember is working at the Gresham T-Mobile store, his name is Zee. This man wil help everyone, anytime, with anything! Zee is friendly, knows his products and if you have a problem, he will fix whatever it is you need help with. I really wish there were more Zee's in this world, I really think he should be a manager or a person who trains employees on how to treat customers and how to resolve problems. He's the best!!!!!! The tmobile customer service center is usually average but lately it has totally sucked! I have gotten shut off several times in the last couple of months for nothing I have done wrong! They give me credits for messing up my plan, then they add it to my account the following month and write in their notes that I agreed to pay it (which I absolutely did not!!) I love Zee's customer service, but I'm getting ready to switch companies because of the lack of customer service lately. T-Mobile used to be very good, but if it doesn't go back to the way it was before, I will have to go else where which I don't look forward to at all. read more

The man who helped us went above and beyond to set up my mother's new phone and show her how to use it (this is where you plug it in, it can go either way, swipe here to get to that screen, etc.). By far the worst customer service I have experienced from all T-Mobile locations. They completely ignored me and were too "busy" to even say "hi we'll be with you in a few". I've been to other locations where not only do they greet you but if they are taking care of another customer or occupied with something they let you know. W O R S T service by the MOST LAZY salesperson. I went here to get a micro SIM to activate our unlocked iphone for my wife. About month ago I got one for myself and got help from lloyd center T mobile. These guys were great! They didn't even charge me for the Micro sim (They had a sim cutter) and he even helped me set it up and helped me trying to get the MMS setup. It was busy too but he took his time! This guy here in this location charged us 20$ for a new micro SIM(ok that's fair ) but when he tried to copy the sim info they couldn't fit the different size SIM card to the copier. He LITERALLY tried 5 WHOLE seconds, and without asking any of his co workers and just gave up with a half azz smile said "yup I can't." WTF? We even asked "Can you ask someone else to see if they can help you?" Because in anyone's eye he's effort was just a joke. If he tried for like 5 minutes and all we didn't mind. We can copy our info to our new phone no problem. We even paid 20$ for this little SIM card and you didn't even try to copy the info? Seriously WTF. We decided that that's fine and asked them to transfer the number into this new SIm card. Then we asked if they have a set up instructions. He said "What? We don't help Iphone customers. We don't have any guidelines for this phone." WTF. I told them about how the Lloyd center guys were very helpful and they even help me try to set up the phone. Even 611 customer care has a protocol to help the unlocked iphone customers! We were hoping to get help since he paid this 20$ for the SIM, I guess not. We drove all the way from downtown because we live close to here, but I'll NEVER EVER come here again. What's even sad is I have been a t mobile customer since 2004! read more

Generally I only take the time to respond to surveys or write reviews when the service provided is poor. Somehow it makes me feel better knowing that I at least had the chance to have my voice heard. Unfortunately, it seems like providing service is not a priority for many businesses. Today I received exemplary service from Ahmed S. and I wanted to make sure that I acknowledged and shared my positive experience. Ahmed is more than deserving of recognition for his talent. Admittedly I was very frustrated when I entered the store; I have no poker face so I know that it was obvious! Instead of pretending not to see me and moving on to another, perhaps friendly customer (there were plenty to choose from!), he approached me with confidence and a willingness to help. In under five minutes he had a resolution to my warranty issue and went above and beyond to ensure that my new phone was set up and fully functional before I left the store. Ahmed was genuine and sincere in the service that he provided and it was hands down the most pleasant experience that I have had in recent memory. read more

They got really bad and tricky service team. My experience with them was when I bought a cellphone. Also added three lines for my brothers to my plan. They charged me extra money for the device. Added some staff I didn't want it. So, my monthly payment came out so high. Be aware you guys buying anything from this store. read more

Dec.19 2018 I went to 2 different stores 223 glisan and 181 Powell before I came to this one I was pissed apon arrival. Aggravated from the last two stores. Ginger and 2 other ladies helped me pick out what phone I was gonna get I ended up spending $800 on a phone , switched plans and bought a new speaker. Ive only had a problem with the place recently. First I went in to upgrade my phone. Which Ginger who was the woman helping me gave my mom and I. Her family came in to visit her and instead of helping us she began to converse with them. So then my phone wasn't set up correctly so I had to go back in the next day and they are supposed to open up at 10. However 10:15 rolls around and they still aren't open and I can see them just hanging out in the store staring at me. And I know my T-Mobile phone should tell the correct time. Well I got tired of waiting and went to a different store and they gladly set up my phone correctly. Will never ask for help from this store again. read more

I've had good experiences with this store in the past, but today was a disaster. Bought new phones for my husband and I. They were unable to transfer our contacts to the new phones.They no longer had a data cable for our old phones. So, they sent us home with the old and new phones to type them out by ourselves. Went in 2 days ago to upgrade or warranty my device as I was having constant issues. Wast told my account was past due when in fact it was not and when trying to explain the mistake made by a telephone rep an agent announces as loud as he could I have been late on my bill for 6 months now as if it had any relevance to the situation(it did not!) A rep by the Stevie was trying to help and offered to call customer support however the guy who was belittling me told her there was no point because I was past due(again I was NOT). I have never had such rude customer service before. Will never so business in that store again. read more
