I scheduled bark dust blowing and was given an 11-2 arrival window. After rearranging my schedule they didn't show up on time. When I called I was told they wouldn't arrive until 3 or 4. I waisted hours of my valuable day just waiting for them to arrive and they didn't have the professionalism to arrive on time or the common curtesy to give me advanced notice that they would be late. I contact Red Bark for our HOA project. This was a lot of bark dust, 8 units. The crew arrived on time and had sufficient staff to keep the project moving along. The cleanup crew kept everything nice and tidy after they blowed in the bark. They apply the material to our pathways and plant beds. We needed bark dust badly. We wanted it blown in . I looked on Yelp and Red Bark was the first to appear. HIGHLY recommend them. They showed up exactly when they said they would. Had a 3 men crew. One blew the bark in, the other held the tubing ( we had a long distance from the truck to our back yard) and the 3rd man went behind them and cleaned up after. Extremely efficient. They even asked to use our hose to " wet" the bark dust to settle it. We have 2 dogs. Overall they started and finished within an hour. Very impressive. JR, truck 11, came this afternoon to blow in hemlock bark. A neighbor and I were able to split two units of bark. They completed the work in less than an hour and did an amazing job cleaning up after themselves. I had the lighter end of the load and wasn't sure if it would cover my entire yard. JR proposed how they would put the bark down in the front yard and do a lighter layer in the back. Turns out they were able to do a full layer the whole way around. It looks fabulous! Color me happy! I was long overdue for more bark dust and foolishly waited until we were ready to sell the house to get some blown in. Fresh bark dust sure makes the yard pretty! So if I could do half stars here, I'd ding them down to 4.5 stars because they were scheduled to come on 5/18, didn't give me an arrival window until I called that morning to ask, and then called me late that afternoon to say they wouldn't be able to make it after all. So they came at 7am (!) on 5/19 with three guys and blew it in. They were friendly and nice, and they did a great job. The bark looks fabulous, they used one of the guys to be a spotter for the hose so they didn't damage any of my plantings. And the third guy followed the other two with a leaf blower to make sure the bark dust didn't make my windows, patio, driveway, etc dirty! No one has ever done that for me before! They weren't the cheapest folks out there, but having them come in two weeks instead of 4-6 like the cheaper guys was worth it. And now that I've seen how great they did, I would definitely pay a little extra for the cleanup service alone. read more

They give you no delivery window so are expected to just wait all day for them, finally showed up at 4:10 after calling their office twice.They are supposed to call 30-60 mins before arrival which they didn't do. As the other reviewer mentioned zero care for plants, some were completely buried under bark and one was completely uprooted, I can only imagine from them blowing bark directly at it. I asked to have an additional pile of bark left to fill my front flower beds. Why in the world would they leave it on a paver patio instead of on the bark and after asked to move it didn't move all of it off the patio.
