Also lots of furniture from accent tables to display units, tables, chairs, desks and more. The owner is so friendly and helpful. If you are looking for ideas, seek him out! Items are unique and affordable in an array of price ranges. While this style as perfect for my previous home and garden, there aren't many items that work in my modern condo, but I purchased some gifts for friends. During the Christmas season, I bought giagantic snowflakes, candle holders and lit trees. Naturally, we contacted the store expecting them to stand behind the products they profit from. Instead, they immediately hid behind the manufacturer and acted like none of it was their problem. So apparently Home Depot's business model is: Sell defective products, collect the money, dump the customer onto someone else when things fail. Amazing system. Truly. Anyone can make money if they never take responsibility for what they sell. And this wasn't even a one-time experience. Nearly everything we've purchased from this particular store has had issues, defects, or outright failures. Getting anyone there to help is like talking to a wall. No ownership, no urgency, no accountability. Just endless "you'll have to call someone else" nonsense from employees who clearly have been trained to avoid responsibility at all costs. At this point, it feels like Home Depot is less interested in customer service and more interested in being a middleman for defective junk while leaving customers stuck dealing with the consequences. Companies like this wonder why customers stop coming back and why people are abandoning big-box stores. Here's your answer: People are tired of paying premium prices for garbage products and nonexistent support. Absolutely pathetic customer service.

I'm a little late in posting this but it's still important to me. On a visit to Al's in Sherwood…read morethe staff was buzzing. Moving things around and doing daily duties. It was the first time that no one asked if we needed help or if we were looking for something. At one point we did need help but the busy workers just walked on by. I was purchasing several delphiniums and one was falling over. I was trying to find out if someone could find a stick or something to hold it up. The answer was no at least three times. We went to the register and paid and asked one more time. Still no. I then out of frustration walked back to the house plant department and found Julie working. She kindly left what she was doing to find a stick. By then Mike from trees and shrubs was helping too. They supported my beautiful plant and securely tied it. I said to them "thank goodness, I finally got the excellent AL's customer service I've come to expect". They told me they were the longest standing employees there. Thank you to both of you for taking a very frustrating situation and turning it around. I hope the family knows how lucky they are to have you.

After 4 days, I phoned Al's, and the guy I spoke to was dismissive and obviously knew nothing. All he could say was "Well, we have had some hot days...." And then he told me if I dig it up and return it (in the pot it came in) I could get a refund or exchange BUT ONLY IF IT'S BEEN LESS THAN TWO WEEKS. Because of their delay, it was more than 2 weeks by then. Customer service does not exist there. Not going back.

They the. Told me so sorry this was actually supposed to be $220 instead. My mind is blow at b How they feel the $100 is worth it to them to not honor what was actually marked on the item and instead they made a very poor customer service move and lost a sale and a customer based on how things were handled vs the positive outcome for a future customer. Very disappointed with my trip to this location today.
