Great trees but when others at the same time were quoted $15 a foot, I was quoted $90 for a 3.5 foot tree. Talked the guy down to $70 cash, but was still disappointed. Worst part was they didn't tell me the price until checkout, maybe I missed the signage, not sure. Nice people, overpriced trees. read more

came here in a last attempt to find a tree. we usually do a U-Cut tree at a farm because we tend to be a picky bunch, but this year with the snow & ice, we didn't make it out. Chris's spot was our last stop. When we looked around, we saw no noble firs & then I asked Chris who informed us that they were all noble firs -- which I thought was funny because the noble firs I've gotten before looked totally different. We ended up settling on a tree because we were tired of looking for one and the price for a 8 ft tree was 45$ which was the most reasonable price we heard all day. After browsing around and deciding on a less traditional looking tree he helped us out by cracking some jokes and measuring out heights for us. He cut our tree to our liking and tagged it while we ran to the grocery store and then helped us get it in the back of our Jeep. Sadly we bought a tree last week and it is already dead. We were told if we bring the current one back we can exchange it but that's easier said than done. We don't have materials to tie the tree to our car so would have to go to Home Depot first. We went back and explained this (I had tand got another tree at a deep discount (much smaller) but the original tree which was over $100 is completely dead. I feel ripped off that the expensive tree lasted not even a week and now we have a small tree that we still paid for. Christmas trees were pricey this season. So I can't hold th $70 price tag for a 7-ft. tree against them. Besides, we celebrate The New Year as opposed to Christmas, so we tend to get our trees at the last minute... We usually do a u-cut tree but the awful weather made us decide to purchase a pre-cut. We had looked at both Cornell Farms and Nob Hill but were told by several people that they were the most expensive in the area. Decided to try Chad's based on the Yelp review. The selection wasn't great but we found a six foot Noble that was fine. There were no prices on the trees or posted. It was our fault for not asking before the tree was tied to our car. We were shocked, however, when we were told it was $60. This was more than Nob Hill and equal to Cornell. As we drove away we wondered if somehow the tree was taller than we thought but when we got home we measured and it was just 6 ft. Too overpriced for a return visit. read more

Only complaints is that it was expensive, and instead of in an ambient environment as the Yelp photo suggests, it was merely in the parking lot of a defunct Safeway and Dollar Tree shopping center off Scholls Ferry Road. interesting experience...had a fake tree every christmas for as long as i can remember but we decided to get a real one this year and just randomly chose this because it was open later at night. absolutely beautiful tree, 9 1/2 feet tall and full as can be. chad was very nice but it was clearly a show and not genuine and he treated his workers in a very degrading way and didn't listen to the things they said. just some bad vibes from chad but great tree! read more
