He arrived right on time, was incredibly polite, and got straight to work. He quickly diagnosed the issue as worn-out dampers. Because Michael is actually a former Samsung engineer, he was able to break down exactly what was happening in terms that were easy to understand. Even better, he had an original Samsung parts kit right on his truck, saving us from the arm-and-a-leg prices Samsung would have charged us directly. Michael had our machine perfectly leveled, repaired, and running smoothly within an hour, and even gave us some tips on how to prevent the issue from happening again. This was during the week during regular business hours, so I don't understand why I couldn't talk to someone local. I was also confused as to why there were so many different phone numbers on their website and Google and Yelp. I had identified a Mr Appliance location that was listed as being less than 10 miles from my rental property, but was told by the person answering the phone that they did not service my area. ??? Since the person was in another country, she couldn't explain to me why a company located a bike ride away couldn't service my property. They asked if I wanted a recommendation for an appliance repair company that serviced my area and then proceeded to give me the phone # but the wrong name for a company in Washington State that has a 2 star rating. ??? I have used Mr Electric in the past and have always had a great experience. The two companies are related in some way as a "family" of service providers. Too bad Mr Appliance was a non-starter. I will never, ever use a contractor I cannot actually reach on the phone.

We recently moved to a new home. The inspection report stated hat the dryer duct was crushed and…read moreneeded to be looked at otherwise it's a fire hazard. We did have a handyman shortened the duct and replaced the crushed part, however, the old dryer soon died. I read on the internet and found that might be due to a clogged vent. I called dryer vent wizard on Saturday and they were able to come on the following Monday. Thanks to David who just came to work on our dryer vent. He found a bunch of problems. The duct work is not up to code; the outside vent does not have a cover so might attract rodents; and the vent needs to be cleaned. All the work was done within an hour, and you get to see the end result with a device that shows you the hot air flow from the dryer. Be sure to sign up for the cleaning service every two years so you get a 20% discount. Great service and great work!
