Very disappointed and will let my friends and social media know what a rip off the customer gets once theY pull up To the booth. I hated taking my recycling and trash down when it gets full because there is only one trash area in my complex and it was a major wreck! Now that ZipEco is offered to us I love "trash day". The person working our route is always here right at 7pm so I can bring in the receptacle before I head to sleep for the night. The instructions for use are well explained and easy to do, and nightly service makes it easy to stay on top of your housework. Before my roommates and I would stuff the trash so full we could barely close it because none of us wanted to take the trash down the stairs and then fight for space in the full dumpster. My neighbors never flattened their cardboard boxes down so the recycling was a nightmare every week. Now with the rules ZipEco has in place they have to flatten the boxes and recycle correctly if they want it to be taken! ZipEco was the best idea my management has ever had, I appreciate this company so much, they make the worst part of housework way easier for me.

Recycling Adventure:…read more I recently had to clean out my garage and a couple of rooms inside our house in order to prepare to host some visitors from overseas for a couple of weeks this summer. I'd accumulated 20-years of junk! It looked like a job for Extreme Make Over - Home Edition, but without the army of contractors or Sears and Ty Pennington to help. It almost looked like an episode of Oprah about folks who hoard everything! I had all the usual junk that would typically be recyclable curbside, but I had both too much of it for a single curbside load, as well as plenty of 'stuff' that wasn't on the curbside list of recyclables (like block Styrofoam packaging, etc). Of course, some of the stuff I wanted to jettison was perfectly reusable and I didn't want it to simply get tossed (working, but old computer and home electronics stuff, etc). And while some of the stuff qualified as Salvation Army and Goodwill candidates, some didn't. I discovered Portland's Metro Recycling Web-Site and Hot-line and they supplied me with a list of local resources for all the various types of junk that I wanted to recycle, including the block Styrofoam packing material. Besides their hot-line phone number, their web-site has a nifty search feature that taps into their huge database of local recyclers for everything from soup-to-nuts (so-to-speak). http://www.oregonmetro.gov/index.cfm/go/by.web/id=1383 It is a handy service that just works!

I took the intro to electric and it was way over my head. I appreciated the handout, but for me the terms were tossed out with assumed knowledge on the part of the student, making it impossible to follow along at many points. I believe the classes are taught by actual, practicing, specialists. I am not sure, but they may even volunteer. And, as an educator who had to learn how to teach I think the educators here would benefit from providing more structured introductions to the material, including terms and definitions, even examples, before using the term. In some cases, the examples were provided, which helped, but more of that for all terms. If it is a beginner class, assume the student knows nothing because they probably do know nothing!

This review is to praise the skill and professionalism of Darryl, a consummate ant tracker! Our…read morehouse was so full of ants that we would find them on rugs, on ceilings, even in our bed at night. They were everywhere. We had Campbell out a couple of time, but it got worse instead of better. Then they sent Darryl, and he earned our eternal gratitude. He found ant trails we didn't even point out, or know we had, and figured out where they were going to and coming from. He went into rooms that we hadn't reported a problem in (with permission, of course...) and showed us where additional ant activity was. Then he baited incredibly carefully, to ensure our cats would not be at risk of exposure to the bait. (Our cats loved Darryl too!) He even followed up with a text a few days later, saying he was thinking about our job, and he wanted to know if the situation had improved! Who does that?! It had improved, by 85 - 90%, but we still saw ants. So he returned and spent an equal amount of time and patience identifying their sources. Darryl has made a tremendous difference in our ability to enjoy our home He is a treasure, and a super nice person, Thanks Darryl, and thanks to Campbell for sending him!!

Have been using Campbell for quarterly for ant and spider maintenance but they really came in handy…read morethis week when we discovered a Yellowjacket nest underground an ornamental grass we were cutting back for a fence install. Within less than 24hrs they were able to come out and get it taken care of for us. Tyler was an exceptional technician and really went above and beyond. He went onto the roof to check our second story eaves for nests we could possibly not see and lo and behold he found 2 which he also removed. Then he went to town on our sugar ant problem spots in the rocky border around our walking paths as it has been a hot spot of activity lately. All on one of the hottest days of the year.
