The one star I'm giving for this review is for all the people who really thoroughly enjoy being lied to and misrepresented, when they're trying to set up a new line of phone service.
My unpleasant experience occurred on Saturday September 19, at the tmobile store located at 59th avenue and Bell Road in Glendale ,AZ.
If you are elderly, do not go to this store, I will tell you they took advantage of the wrong elderly teacher on Saturday. I went in to transfer responsibility for my line. I told them I wanted to be on the same plan that I had been when I was on the previous account. I did not know the name of the plan. ALEN with an E, last initial M, whom I will refer to as slick thought that because I was in my 50s, and not really technically advanced that I wouldn't bother to check when he completely lied to me, and told me that plan was no longer available to me. He said that the next cheapest plan available to me was called More, So he signed me up for More. I discovered More costs $25 more per line each month. I had transferred 2 devices that were already paid off. There was no reason to put me on a mid. Tier plan that had international calling. And high usage for data, as I said, I am a 53 year-old teacher who doesn 't need any of that. I can't afford to travel abroad. I asked Alen with an E, AKA slick twice if that was the cheapest plan available to me. And he told me the first 2 lines are always the most expensive. That wasn't what I was asking. I understand that the first 2 lines on any plan might be more expensive. But because he was so slick, I went home and checked right away, and thank goodness I did. HE would have cost me another $30 a month for a plan with features I would never use. Luckily I got everything resolved through corporate after many phone calls and a lot of explaining.
Fortunately I picked up on his deception, and checked on his lies immediately, I was successful getting my plan switched to the essential 2.0 that I had been on with the previous account that will save me thirty dollars a month.
Also because of my quick response, I did not have to pay all the fees that are associated with changing a plan once billing starts. Furthermore, he failed to list me, and my number as the primary account holder, which made it very difficult for me to rectify the situation. I had a lot of difficulty getting these changes made, but I 'm very persistent, If nothing else so again, Alan with an E last initial M you messed with the wrong elderly teacher.
Please if you were in this store recently, do your due diligence and check to be sure your transaction really is what they told you it was, and that you are not a victim of their shady sales practices, especially if you were as unfortunate as I was to have to work with Alen with an e, last initial M. read more
