Worst T-Mobile "experience" center I've ever been to I get better service at Waffle House. They're slow always long wait times, there regular locations are better than these "experience" centers. Worst service I think I've had from a phone provider. The people at the store level tried to help & they were cool. The 800 number people are the worst. I am getting billed for service I do not have & haven't had for months. They can't cancel the bill because I "didn't cancel the service" Well, it's prepaid, if you don't prepay you don't have service. I had their modem for less than a week & returned it so essentially cancelled. They're sending me a bill for $109 for service I don't have. read more

I was conned, I came in for help setting up my new phone, it weas not going according to plan, I met with an agent there, who in all honesty did finish setting up the phone, turns out Costco has really, really bad internet. In the process, coming across more as an apology for the trouble I was having I was offered a 'free' apple watch. I was told I can give you this. Not knowing much - anything about Apple watches, I signed up for the watch/phone service. I used that for two months, and decided that far from being beneficial it was a complete pain the butt, and the service to me was useless. I then found that I was being charged $13 a month for a phone I was told I was being given. I tried taking it back, no can do, they only accept refunds for 14 days. So now I am stuck paying about $300 for a watch that is to my mind a piece of junk, it is useless. I don't know what people do with these things other than tell the time. Oh yes, you can take calls on your watch when you leave your phone behind, I don't leave my phone, I leave my watch, my phone tells me the time. I went to T mobile in Sam's wholesale in Clearwater on gulf to bay I was told they have a plan up to 4 lines 25 dollars per line but after he took it upon him self and turned off my phones and could get them back on the charge me double the amount then sold me stuff and charged my card then try to charge me again for the same thing next month on my card without my permission then said they would oay off the difference on my phones and give me new phones a free up grade I went through hell took days to get my phone back on then I ended up having to pay off my phones they kept and the phones they gave us are horrible and tried to charge me every month fir the same stuff I paid fir in full in store they will scam you leaving you to dispute everything on your credit card and now I have to getva lawyer to sue them I ended up in the hospital sick over all this so now I am suing them for my phones back my money they over charged me plus lawyer fees and they won't call you back they lie to you leaving you hanging so they can keep running up your credit card for something you didn't approve and already paid for twice stay from T mobile unless you want a headache for years to come and aggrevation and they ruin your credit card so bad it causes you to lose sleep stay from t mobile don't say I didn't warn you can get cheaper anywhere and better phones with another company any of them but not t mobile a 0 for star rating read more

We got ourselves some new unlocked iPhones and decided to try one of their new promotions. This location is in a strip center at Clearwater Mall. It's the same one that Yogurt Mountain and Starbucks is in facing Gulf to Bay Blvd. We were quickly greeted and within about 5 minutes we were being helped. Not to actually give out our ages but we signed up for their 'Unlimited 55+' plan. It has 2 lines for $60/month. The plan has unlimited talk, text and DATA! It does require that you use a credit card or bank account for AutoPay. No contract. No problem! We are grandfathered (no pun intended) into this plan in perpetuity. Everyone that we met was friendly and helpful. Chris set up our accounts and he was clearly a veteran of cellphone activation. From start to finish, we were only in there for about 30 minutes. I couldn't be more pleased. I highly recommend T-Mobile and this location in particular. read more

Ken H. the Assistant Manager, did a great job setting up my new phone and helped sync the contacts which took quite awhile due to the old version of Android my Galaxy S4 was running. He was courteous and professional despite the fact that my old phone should've been donated to the phone museum a loooong time ago. I could not do this man's job! Very efficient and knowledgeable. He even reached out to another colleague to consult rather than just tell me "it's out of warranty, sorry" like many others have. read more

I typically only provide a review for quality service, but feel compelled to go to the other side of the spectrum with T-Mobile. It appears this store thrives on a culture of lies and deceit and the entire staff seems to clearly not understand the value of quality customer service, nor do they seem to care. I am a former Sprint customer for 20+ years and have 5 lines. What started out great promotion of a $800 per new phone with a total monthly bill of $270, including insurance and taxes has been nothing short of a nightmare (amounts were verified with Gersi Minxolli sales person and David Bryce, associate manager when we signed up in November). To date the monthly bill exceeds the amount by well over $100. I have made countless calls to have this situation rectified, the latest today, speaking to David Bryce, who upon hearing my voice dropped silent but finally stated "he thought the was all taken care of." Needless to say, it has not. I kindly requested the manager, Jennifer Russell, to call, that was 20 minutes ago. As a note, Jennifer reluctantly got involved after multiple calls to the store. After a very uncomfortable beginning to the conversation, where I advised her Trevor had out right lied to me regarding the whereabouts of a manager. She finally let me know that as the manager she has ways to get involved in issues and get them resolved, that was 2/3. I would like to note that Gersi is a part time employee and this was thrust in his lap, he has been professional and kind through out. Not sure why an organization such as T-Mobile would leave this up to a part time employee, he has tried very hard to help. Everyone else that I have encountered has been short, rude and uncaring. One of the employees at this store (Justin) was kind enough to help me and even run a diagnostic on my car, even offered to let me wait inside the store until I could get a ride. Speaks volumes on this guy's character to go so out of his way to help a complete stranger. He even noticed my sister was a TMobile customer and offered advise on my nephew's sync-up. I would like to start out by saying, that T-Mobile Corp is great. But I will be leaving them after a 2 year contract is up due to this location. I have been a T-Mobile user for over 10 years. Now, for the reason that I will be leaving. I have a witness for both of these situations: FIRST PURCHASE. A couple of years ago, the associate sold my family new phones with a great rebate. LOTS OF PAPERWORK! It was like buying a house. He told us twice, "I'll take care of the rebate". We thanked him several times for taking care of it. When I called Nokia to see where the rebate was, for both phones, their reply was the T-Mobile Clearwater associate never mailed it in". You would not believe the phone calls and letters that were necessary to get my rebate. SECOND PURCHASE: OMG! This girl was definitely getting a bonus to get us off our current plan and I'm really disappointed in what I have now. I DID HAVE a great plan,with international calling, easy to use phones, etc!!!!!!!! So, here is what she told us: "Oh, I can get you 4 new phones- FREE!, and a better plan, 12 mp and 16 memory. My family said it sounds great, and we signed. WHAT WE ENDED UP WITH: We lost our international calling plan! We had to pay taxes on 4 phones (I'm in sales and I would have been upfront) It only has 8 memory AND it only has 5 mp - NOT 12 mp. And notifications that we are constantly running out of memory ...no matter how many times we move items to external storage. WE CAN NOT STAND OUR PHONES! WE CAN NOT STAND OUR NEW PLAN! AND I DEFINITELY DO NOT WANT TO USE T-MOBILE AGAIN. AND two of the phones are still in the boxes since they are not good enough for some family members. LESSON LEARNED: If the deal sounds too good to be true, the associate is probably getting a huge bonus to get you off your current plan, even if it means telling a lie or two. read more

I went to T-Mobile to switch my family plan from AT&T. They were great at first and the service is much cheaper than AT&T ($320 to $170). The issue was that my mother and sister live in another city and I pay for their plan so switching SIM cards would be an issue. Jose said not a problem, he would mail the SIM cards to them, request the unlocks and switch the accounts. 11 days later, they did not receive the SIM cards, i had no response from Jose when I asked about it on the number he gave. Finally when my Mom/Sis received the SIMs he hadn't requested the unlock from AT&T like he said he would. My Mom and Sister were without a phone for about 30 hours, but i caught Jose at work. Obviously he said, "Oh, no... I guess you have to go onto att.com and request the unlock"... Thanks Jose from T-mobile, only 2weeks late to the ball game. Over-all: DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE, Cell Service is 1-bar LTE for the majority of Tampa (very little issues with that though), Price is awesome. read more

Was quoted a price for an additional line on an existing account. Phone rep took my order and credit card number and assured me that my existing plan would stay the same. I was to be billed an additional $30 monthly plus tax. That $30 turned into $65 and my plan would be changed. Rep lied to make the sale. Whatever happened to good old fashioned business ethics? I've gone in here few times mostly asking questions about new phones. I've noticed most employees are knowledgeable but aren't afr6to look something up if there not sure. I've been a t-mbile client since the day I was given a cell phone to the day I bought my own. No company is perfect, however the employees do the best they can and really that's all you can ask of any person. I'm not happy with what I experienced today. I returned to the store the day after becoming a T Mobile customer because the free promotional Samsung VR Glasses I received was previously opened and with missing adapters. I tried to get them exchanged only to be informed there were no more in Stock and there basically was nothing they could do for me outside of contacting a Samsung representative. How do you continue to promote the phone with the offer of the FREE VR glasses if you don't have any left. Yeah the galaxy s7 edge is a good phone but so are the VR glasses if you're lucky enough to get a pair. Makes you wonder how will this manager and his sales reps explain to the next customer that they don't get free VR glasses after applying for their eligible phones. I guess it's all about a commission and the fact that the item is free it's supposed to make this situation better. Hopefully my new phone won't malfunction if so guess who will be back.
