I have been here twice now and both visits were brief and very helpful. On my first visit, I wanted to replace a cable box that was getting so hot, I was afraid it was a safety hazard. On my second, I wanted to replace two remotes that were no longer functioning properly. The staff here were excellent and I was on my way home with new equipment very quickly. This Spectrum location is the best I have ever visited.

Cancelling the promo and throwing my entire account out of wack. Taller guy with dreads did this. We were both upgrading our devices and weren't planning on purchasing anything extra, so I also assumed we might be treated as less of a priority. I was pleasantly surprised. We were immediately greeted by the store manager, Erison B., who was welcoming, personable, and incredibly helpful. He took the time to answer all of my questions without rushing us or making us feel pressured. He then transitioned us to Sean L., Senior Mobile Expert, who was just as great--knowledgeable, polite, patient, and not pushy at all. I usually feel like cell phone stores operate like used-car dealerships, but that was absolutely not the case here. The experience was refreshingly stress-free. Unfortunately, I had issues with my phone activation and had to return the next day. Both Erison and Sean went above and beyond to help me. Erison, in particular, spent hours ensuring my phone was properly activated and that everything was transferred correctly. As a store manager, his level of dedication and care truly stood out. Because of this experience, I would 100% return to this location to upgrade, add a line, or make any future purchases. Excellent customer service still exists--and it's at this T-Mobile store.

Anyway, Gadget Fix was a huge motivation to get back on the program, at least for one. So I strolled in to a friendly hello from the owner and a "woof" from behind the counter. The company dog gave me a friendly look and went back to sleep. I had a charging problem with my phone which I expected would require parts. Instead an adjustment work and as a bonus gained much information about reduced charging rate with long cables and the importance of a good cable that gives a distinct click when connected. I am not certain I am convinced to move from having a pile of cheap throw-away in 3 months cables or a couple really good ones but it is something to think about. And I am going to stay away from the long ones now. Oh, back to the repair. Repair was going on during the discussion cable attributes, no parts required, and there is no doubt I received more than I paid for. Great place.

I had a very bad experience with this AT&T store. Five weeks into my new phone, I have cracks in…read moreall four corners of the protective glass. I looked online and saw that the specific case I purchased is considered to have a design defect -- it doesn't properly grip the phone and creates pressure that cracks the protective screen when dropped from about a foot -- from head to desk. Gavin, the store manager, not only claimed not to have heard about this defect, he denied it existed even though I can't imagine how he could come to that conclusion without any data. He refused to let me show him websites discussing the defect. I had been told (given an express warranty) that I could get the screen protector replaced for life. I brought up the fact that I wasn't good at attaching the protective screen. My sales rep told me she would do it -- certainly implying I could get a warranty replacement at the store. She certainly never mentioned that I have to email the screen protector company and she very much did not mention that the screen protector company charges a minimum of $10 shipping and handling for a replacement. Even more if you want it shipped quickly. When I was told I would not receive what was promised with regard to the screen protector, I asked to return the case. Well they only accept returns for 14 days and I was on day 37. Meanwhile I ordered a new case from Amazon. So to summarize: I was sold a defective case and I was misled about the warranty on the screen protector. But honestly I think the worst part was the Gavin the manager's incredible condescension towards me. He insisted that 37 days ago his employee never misspoke about the screen protector warranty. I'm glad Gavin sticks up for his employees but of course he was just making that up -- he had absolutely no way to know what was said to me when I purchased the items. Gavin was supremely confident in an arrogant and insulting way. One other point --- this is a third-party AT&T store. In other words, it's not an AT&T store -- it's a private business that only sells AT&T products. This store's only incentive is to sell, sell, sell -- since AT&T provides the support to customers generally. Gavin's store had no reason to treat me well or to honor the express warranty. I think you're much better off going to an AT&T store that is actually owned and managed by AT&T. I still have the notes my sales rep took when she was trying to upsell me on a plan and other products. It would have been nice if she spent that time providing proper support and explanation of what I was buying and how the warranty works.
