Android phone would not hold a charge for a while now, tried cleaning myself, bought several cords..still no help. Had to find local repair person; did a search on Yelp, saw Innovative as one of several, he quoted me a fair price...bought the phone in and 2 hours later I now have a phone that actually holds a charge!! Had to wait a few days to see if it actually worked...5 Lenny (?) even explained the techinical details of what I needed for a fast charging system...BRING YOUR BROKEN PHONE TO HIM!! read more

Have used IC for years now. Always great advice and quality repairs. I moved up to Belleair five years ago but still drive down to see Lenny for any work. read more

By far the fairest guy in this business. Cheaper than the chain stores and faster. Dropped off my phone and picked up an hour later. Never had an issue with any repair I've had from him. 10/10. read more

Professional & efficient. Repaired the poor work of another store & explained the process as he went. Reasonable price & friendly attitude.

5 Stars isn't enough!!! Fast response to phone messages, fair pricing and reliable and superior service. Support of locally owned and operated St Petersburg business, keep your phone looking and working like new! This is the place for your phone repair on North 4th Street, Gateway area. read more

Not sure why anyone would give this place less than 5 stars. I have been a customer of Lenny's and his business for over 5 years, every time I have brought a phone or an Ipad to get repaired he does a great job at a fair price, over the years I have also bought several phones and Ipads from him for myself or family and I have never once had any issues with them. He does great work and is honest and knowledgeable. Great business, would recommend over and over. read more

Had tried to get my iPhone 4 fixed at apple, AT&T, and at another cell shop. Finally found this little gem, had completely replaced my charging port, microphone, and speaker in less than 30 min for $60. Leonard is completely honest, showed me what he could do and how and why it worked that way, asked me if I wanted the repairs done first, and was very informative and helpful. He can fix everything! read more

I bought an IPhone X here to use in a Verizon upgrade program. When I went to the Verizon upgrade site, it would not accept the device because it was "Lost or Stolen". I went back to Innovative Cellular and tried to return the device, but the owner refused. Sketchy place, sketchy guy. AVOID!! read more

A cell phone repair place you can trust! Great advice on whether it was worth while to repair or replace.

So my previous review i stand by as well as his statement that my phone cam had not been fixed for months that was not the casse you explained it could possibly have dirt but the action speak louder than words i paid more money got my phone back in worse condition had the same repair at two others both went flawless i went to international mall and the gentlemen there fixed my phone in minutes new screen new camera works great and cost less than the failure i had here go to the mall or a more legitimate repair shop be wary of any tradesman who trys to make the job seem so much harder than it actually is either their not that good at their trade or they are just ripping you off upselling you. The Indian men at the mall were so nice and efficient and so cost effective they fixed it right in front of me. read more

It really sucks when you have to spend money to fix a cracked screen. I took my iPhone 6s to Lenny because he had the best price to fix it. He was professional, had a great attitude and fixed my phone quickly. I wouldn't hesitate to go back. Thanks, Lenny! read more

I took my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 in because it was no longer changing. He simply peered into it, cleaned the port and the phone is working just fine. It wasn't much, but what I liked was how professional and knowledgeable he was. He was simply fantastic. Highly recommended. read more

This is the place to go. You can read my experience w icell down the road and decide for yourself as now I have been to both places. Sure this place was about 20 dollars more expensive but it's been over a month and it was done right and done with quality parts. He also took the time to show me the bracket that icell did not reinstall when they fixed the phone the first time. I would recommend this place in the NE St Pete area read more

We just stopped in to ask about cell phone batteries and they were so so helpful with advice to try something first before we bought batteries!!! What great advice and nice people too!!! I will be back and I will be telling all my friends about this place. Service and advice like it use to be...thank you read more

I told Lenny, the owner, that I had an Honor 8 smartphone with a broken front glass screen. He agreed to replace the screen with my own part for $60 + tax for the labor. Today I brought my phone and new screen to be repaired. After leaving his shop, Lenny sent my wife a text message stating that he would replace the broken screen for between $90-$120, significantly higher than the price he quoted. I refused to pay almost twice as much and took my phone to CPR Gadget Tech near Tyrone Mall. CPR Gadget Tech did an amazing and extremely professional job and only charged me $55 + tax!!!!!! Do not bring your phone to a dishonest repair person like Lenny!!! read more

This guy is a scam artist my girlfriend brought in her iphone 5 to fix the screen and front camera he told her 190 dollars never openly admitted after she came back the next day for the screen working but the camera was not that he never checked the camera then put the phone back together said there was nothing he could do about it when she went back to her car then the screen started not qorking now he is trting to tell her that cause the battery wasnt fully charged it messed up the phone and wont give a refund or fix the mess he made would never see this guy if he was the last phone person on earth I give 0 stars if it was a option read more

My Nokia Lumia 1520 is a bit of an oddball phone, so I appreciated the fact that Leonard could fix it--and when it was going to take a bit of time to get the part, I really respected that he called me right away to tell me, and again when it arrived. As it turned out, the new screen arrived early and he got to fixing it the moment I dropped it off. Great repair job, really glad to have the screen fixed, and would definitely do business with Innovative Cellular again! (Just hoping I don't have to). If it turns our your phone's Gorilla Glass is more "Glass" than "Gorilla", this is the guy to go to. He was recommended to me by the folks at my local AT&T store. read more

So lucky to have found this repair shop! Called about a cracked iPhone screen. Given very competitive quote, better rate then other places I checked. But what really sold me was Lenny was so friendly on the phone and was there at the shop and ready with the parts to repair my phone right when I called (other places didn't even answer the phone). A little while after calling, I came by the shop as a drop in, no appointment, and was able to have phone fixed in half the time he estimated while I waited. Lenny explained the repair while I waited and we chatted. Found out that he also repaired Fitbit watches and laptops. After he fixed my phone, ran home to get my watch and laptop and came back. He fixed both issues I was having with those 2 items in minutes! The laptop was taken to BestBuy Geek Squad, who suggested not fixing it, they said it would require replacing the motherboard and would not be worth it, better to buy a new one they said. But Lenny was able to fix it in a few minutes without having to replace the motherboard! Amazing! Would definitely recommend Innovative Cellular for all of your technology needs! 3 different items repaired on the same day in less then an hour at an amazing price with fast, friendly, quality service right in my neighborhood! Thank you Lenny! read more

What a nice surprise, My cell phone was not charging and Lennie was able to diagnose, repair & have me back connected with in 30 minutes, at a more than reasonable price. Highly recommend this place! read more
