I bought a used Subaru with only on key fob. Batteries Plus has the best prices for a new fob programmed. Arrived in a couple days did the programming and I'm good. The most common price was around $500. Great friendly service. read more

Stopped at Batteries Plus for a battery for my key remote as the battery was running low. I asked the associate what battery I needed for my remote and he was very unhelpful: First the associate told me he didn't know which battery fits my remote and then turned around and said he had the battery for about $10. Then on top of it the associate wanted to charge me an additional $20 to install the battery into my remote! I can understand about an installation charge if a battery install is complex such as a car battery. But for a simple key remote I think the charge is outrageous! And subpar customer service! read more

A friend of mine from Chicago has a daughter attending USF in St Petersburg. They called me and asked if I could help her with a problem. She has a Vespa scooter to get around town and the battery went bad. I met with her and she had bought a new battery for me to install. The battery she got was the wrong one so I took her here to exchange it for the correct one (which also turned out to be $40 LESS than the one they sold her). Service was slow but thorough. read more

WOW, my keyfab to my Cadillac SUV was barely working, I drove 30 min because they were the only ones open, and the dealers were all closed. They friendly guy took my keyfob went in the back got back after a minute and said this will work like a new one. I said how much and he simply smiled and said it was free. I will always go there for any type of batteries from minute ones to car ones. They now have a lifetime customer. Imagine how much they would have charged me at the dealer! WOW still amazed by such customer service. AMAZING & Can't wait to go back again. read more

Save yourself from going to this place. Worst experience I've ever had. Bought a fob for myself because my old one was falling apart. Went in the first day nobody could plug it in apparently because the system was down. Had to come back another day nobody could plug it in because the system was down. Had to come in a third day and the system was down yet again. Then I was told to come in for the expert. Came in, he couldn't get it to do couldn't get it to do it couldn't get it to do. Finally got it working. Month later key fob dies. Had to wait again for them to order another key fob. Had to come in on a day when the expert was there. Took another hour and a half for them to program a key. And yet another month later the key fob falls apart. Now I'm going to have to go to a dealership and spend another $200 and something dollars for a new fob. Save yourself, and go to a reputable place. Save yourself. read more

This location happens to be blessed by an extremely talented, hardworking young man named Zach. If you want excellent customer service and someone who innately strives to do the best job they can go see this person to help you with your battery needs. I called because my son's power wheels wasn't functioning (not battery related!) and he tinkered and troubleshooted and fixed it! I witnessed him intermittently caring for other customers at the same time and he was just so dutiful it honestly gives you hope for the next generation to see such smart, sweet and hardworking people such as Zach. Batteries plus, I'm sure you know you've e got yourselves a good one and any customers out there- this is your guy. read more

I ride a 2016 Harley Davidson CVO Streetglide. I got tired of replacing my Harley lead acid batteries every year, so back in September 2021, I went to Batteries Plus in Dunedin and purchased a Lithium battery. WOW!! The best lead acid battery that would fit was 460CCA (HD spec). The new Batteries plus battery had 520CCA! What a difference. No compression grunt with the new Lithium battery. I do have to admit that the LI battery is not a happy battery when things get cold (35deg and below). But it gets to work once it warms up. But today, without warning, I came out to find my bike too dead to even crank. All it did was turn on "I'm getting stolen!" Alarm when I tried to start it. I called the closest Harley dealer - HA! I called several road service numbers, but they weren't available for a jump only. So i looked up Batteries Plus locator and found Dustin Jenkins, store mgr @ 6820 4th St. North, St. Pete. When he heard my dilema, being stuck downtown St. Pete (30ish miles from home), he agreed to personally drive down to jump me!!!! Sure enough he showed up and voila - my bike started and he saw the charging system doing it's thing. I followed him back to his store, some 65 blocks north (15mins) and I got a fresh battery UNDER FULL WARRANTY 18 MONTHS AFTER PURCHASE!! I was shocked and surprised that i got that new battery for zero bucks!!! And the best part? Dustin Jenkins took time from his job to personally drive down to rescue me - AND REFUSED ANY MONEY FOR HIS HELP!!! Now That's RESPECT a biker can love! Thank-you!! read more

Not sure who these lucky people are that we're able to have a nice experience here. Purchased batteries from them. 4 were DOA those were replaced after a month after purchasing. Think that would mean those new batteries they had to replace would start a year warranty from the day I got them replaced? Makes sense? Nope. It's from the original date of the purchase. So keep this in mind. Let's say you buy on Jan of 2020 but they die six months later and they have to replace them. Those new batteries don't start then. They start when you bought the original faulty batteries. Now your new replaced batteries have a six month or less warranty. Shady. Even worse. Say they die 9 months in. You now have 3 months on your "new" batteries. Save some head ache. Buy online. There is a reason why brick and mortar stores are fading. Horribly rude customer service. Take this as a heads up or ignore it, I was hoping that a company as "trusted" would be a bit more honest. read more

We were looking for a house battery for our RV and stopped by an auto parts store, that didn't have what we needed - but we were told they could order it. I really wanted to get this taken care of the same day because the battery keep the refrigerator cold while we're traveling. Just down the road was a Batteries Plus. We stopped and got the best customer service from Dustin! He actually had the battery we needed and was able to do a price match for the written quote we received from the Auto Parts store. We were in and out in minutes, felt like our business was important to this store and very happy about the warranty being covered nation wide as we will be traveling in the foreseeable future. If you're in the market for a battery, check out Batteries Plus on 4th Street in St. Petersburg! read more

iPhone batteries lasted 2 months, tops I was sold my batteries with a one year warranty (read the other reviews, you will see this is their offer) when I had my dying 'new' batteries replaced I was told that I was only offered a six month warranty and that they would replace my batteries just this once. My 'new' (Rayovac) batteries also lasted two months. My opinion? Garbage, from liars. [EDIT] Just read your response. PLEASE STOP LYING! Don't ever take your phone to be repaired here: The employees were very nice but this is what happened: We took my husband's Samsung phone to fix the cracked screen and they ended up breaking the back of the phone during the repair, which is also glass. They didnt tell us about it right away and replaced it with a cheap plastic cover. Went home and the phone's natural battery heating, would cause the cheap cover to swell and break -that is why it is made out of glass. Took it back and got it replaced again, for a total of 3 times. The last time they told us that they could not fix anymore it, even though they were the ones that broke it. The phone ended up breaking all over, guts falling out and apart, system started to malfunction and we couldnt even sell it as planned so ended up throwing the phone away: Just because it had a cracked screen... read more

Your "new" battery WILL die in 5-6 months and so will the battery you replace it with. So essentially, you buy a "new" battery and then have to replace it twice in a year. Makes me wonder if the "new" (replacement) batteries are new batteries...at all. #RefurbishedBatteriesIfThatsPossible Customer service person was very personable. read more

Just a warning. I asked him to replace the battery in my key fob. Sure, no problem. The battery costs $5, but without mentioning the "service fee" he put the battery in the fob and charged me $25. Yep, a $20 service fee to put in the small round battery that took 10 seconds. Don't go here unless you are desperate. read more

Best Batteries + Bulbs store ever! Great service, helpful & informative! I'll be back!

I was sent t this location because Pinellas Park store did not have a replacement screen or battery for my I phone 5c, even though I made my appointment online (didn't know until I showed up for my 2:00 appointment). When I dropped off my phone for the repair, notifying the employee that I had a $10 off coupon, he replied "don't worry, the coupon will be ok" taking my phone to start the diagnosis stage while I searched for the coupon. When picking up my phone, I did not receive the $10 off because "the computer wouldn't take it"--apparently, contrary to what was stated at 2 store locations, getting 1/2 off the battery negates the $10 off coupon. Being on a fixed budget as a retired senior citizen, $10 is a meal for me--or gas money. More importantly, I was mislead--I trusted that what was said by two employees was true; if my understanding was incorrect when dropping off my phone, it should have been stated at that time. It was clear that I anticipated saving $10 via coupon and the 1/2 off battery replacement. read more

This is an excellent business run by honest professionals, who stand by their word, as well as their warranties. I purchased a Duracell Car battery at another Batteries + Bulbs location across the bay, which eventually failed. After testing, recharging, and re-testing the battery, they were dissatisfied with the performance of the unit. Without delay or question Mr. Joseph Guglietti, Store Manager, ordered a replacement, which will arrive tomorrow. The courtesy, service, and follow-up offered by Linda and Gabriel when I visited the store, and after, has been nothing short of outstanding. I intend on purchasing every battery and bulb I need in the future from Batteries + Bulbs. read more

Great customer service. The store manager picked up the battery I needed himself from another store and brought to close to homes store.

I called regarding replacing the 2 12V batteries in my mobility device & the male employee was so helpful and knowledgeable that I definitely wanted to go to this location (there were several within range to choose from). My gf and I went in and a female employee was behind the counter and immediately started working on getting the screws we were having trouble removing, out of the battery pack. After 10-15 minutes, BOTH employees removed all screws and opened the battery pack o discover that a wire had become disconnected within the case. They connected all wires, replaced all screws, and didn't charge me a thing. So nice, competent, and professional. Great service. read more

I called to see if they could program a fob for my car. I gave the, make model and year and i was told they could do it. I went down there a few days later and after they looked at it for a while found they could not do it. I am disappointed that they could not figure out if they could do the work with the car information. I think professionals should be able to figure that out. I am unlikely to go back to that store. read more
