After some research and troubleshooting, I found that the cable box uses the modem/router to update the guide. It turns out that the cable box is incompatible with the new modem/router. Hmmm, you think that they would have known that when they issued us the new modem/router. I guess it's another trip to their store. I did find that connecting an Ethernet cable between the router and cable box fixed the problem after a reboot. -Optimum, your Yelp comments from "Business Owner" are not helpful. You see your one-star average review and are doing nothing about it. No business with one-star is worthy of the customers that support them!
