Then we found Tailoring by Renoj and decided to build a custom suit from scratch with him. He spent the better part of an hour and a half answering questions, taking exact measurements and explaining the entire process to us. He even sewed in my son's initials inside the suit jacket and sleeves of his custom dress shirt. You can tell that every stitch that he made, he did it with pride and expertise because this suit is TOP NOTCH. The turnaround time was impressive as well. On top of everything that I have already mentioned, the pricing was not far off from a chain store and in my humble opinion we got so much more going to him, so we were happy to pay just a tad more than if we had gone to a warehouse. Honestly, the quality and customer service that he gave to us is hard to find these days, so paying a tad more (and I mean a tad) made it well worth it to us. My son felt confident going to the ASME Career Fair this past week in his new suit. We WILL be going back for more shirts and possibly another suit one day. Took in two pair of pants to have them hemmed. I was told they would be ready within two weeks…read more When I went in to pick them up, two weeks and 4 days later, the pants still were not ready. I was told to come back the next day and they would be done. I picked them up and then departed on a business trip. While ironing my pants on the trip, I noticed the hem had simply been folded under and stitched. The surged edge of the material is still in tact and untouched. The excess material had not been trimmed and the seam could be seen on the outside of the pants when ironed. I could have hemmed the pants in this fashion myself. I have taken clothes here before and received better quality work than this and service that was on time. Plus, it was not inexpensive to have two pair of pants hemmed (approx. $25 per pair of pants). I will think twice before taking any other items back here for alterations if this is the turnaround and quality of work to be expected for the amount of money paid for this service.

Lululemon referred me to this alteration shop for a zipper replacement. They told me they would…read morehave to replace the entire zipper and that they would match the color, so l agreed. It took around two weeks for this work to be completed because they had to order the zipper. The zipper they replaced it with is yellow, not even close to the color of the jacket. The stitching is sloppy and the lines on the jacket are all crooked now. This work costed $45, and my jacket is now in even worse condition. If you really care about an item of clothing you own, don't bring it here

So I went to Tony's after looking up a few reviews online. Here on Yelp, it was pretty much a…read moretoss-up between Tony's and someplace else, but since Tony's does dry cleaning as well as alterations, I figured I'd give them a shot. It's a great local shop, and they definitely take debit cards, so I would assume they take credit cards as well. I took in a buisness suit (coat and pants), as well as 2 dress shirts, and got them all done for just under $14. I've never done dry cleaning before, but this place seems like a very nice little place to do business with. I checked all of the buttons and everything seems great. no noticeable flaws or anything. They do offer same-day service, but that's only if you drop off the dry cleaning by 8 or 8:30 am. (I don't remember the time, but they open at early and close at around 6 pm on week days). **Pros: -Great local business that seems to do a good job. -No flaws found with my dry cleaning on quick inspection. -Very friendly staff -It looks more like a business office than a dry cleaner's place (which I like, personally). **Cons: -The parking lot is right on the corner of Villa Maria and South College. Since the parking lot only opens out onto Villa Maria, this makes for a bad location to pull out. If the parking lot is full, you could wind up waiting a while for traffic to die down so you can pull out of the parking lot. -The lady that took my order when I first went had trouble understanding my name. To be fair, I was speaking a bit fast, but I've never had most people misunderstand my name so badly that they have trouble typing it. All in all, it was a pleasent experience, and I would definitely do business with them again! I gave it 4 stars because of the parking, but that cannot be helped. Be VERY careful if you use the parking lot in front, as inexperienced drivers could easily back up into oncoming traffic or cars stopped waiting for the light at the intersection. It might be a risk to use the parking lot behind the store front, but it's worth investigating whether that is open for customers of Tony's or not.
