I am writing to share my recent experience regarding an issue that was not resolved. I received a phone that does not belong to me and contacted customer service for assistance. I was advised to visit a store since I did not have the account PIN. On April 2, 2026, between approximately 12:30 PM and 1:00 PM, I went to the T-Mobile store located at 3401 Panama Ln Suite 200, Bakersfield, CA 93313. I waited patiently to be helped. When the associate approached me, there was no greeting, and the interaction did not feel welcoming. I did not get his name, but he was shorter in height with a darker complexion. I explained the situation and asked if he could check the account using his system. Instead, he repeatedly directed me to use my own phone and access the T-Life app, even after I asked if he could assist directly. After reviewing my account, he informed me that no phone had been ordered. When I asked what I should do with the phone I received, I was simply told to contact Assurance/insurance, without any additional guidance or effort to help resolve the issue. I left the store feeling frustrated and unsupported. I believe customer service should involve making a genuine effort to assist or guide customers toward a resolution, especially in situations like this read more

T-Mobile needs to reverse their way of doing business. This is how companies go out of business. I have had their internet for over two years with no problems, now I do, I need to get a new gateway. On Google it says I can exchange my gateway for a new one, but Joe from a T-Mobile store in Bakersfield,CA said they do not do that ? I was happy with them but now I am joining all the other unhappy customers. The T-Mobile stores should be able to do everything. read more

I just used my T-Mobile Tuesday application to redeem my free gloves. Both me and my husband had to wait until Eddie handed a couple of gloves to random people walking in asking for them WITHOUT SHOWING HIM THIER APPLICATION. Why did Eddie do that? Why did we have to wait although we showed him the app. When we asked, he had no answer rather than: I am doing my job. But we didn't see him doing his job. My boyfriend and I walked in interested in having him switch his line over and begin a plan w T-Mobile. Sadly they didn't have the particular phone he wanted so we had to go to another location. We wish they would have had it in stock at this particular location because the customer service we received was amazing. (We didn't get their names sadly) but they were more than willing to go out of their way and check to see if it was in stock at a different location. We were on the SW side of town and thought this location would be convenient to stop by and pay my wife's bill. Yes we could have done this electronically but some times paying bills the old school way is necessary. We waited in line forever. There were two employees working on 1 customer and it seemed everyone there was getting new phones and setting them up. Then after all that waiting the same guy that checked us in finally helped us and took our money. This location is very in organized. Avoid if it if you can. read more

Truly expedient and exceptional service at this location. We usually patronize the Marketplace where the manager is superlative (Ceaser Rodriguez). We stopped by the Ming Ave location where we were informed that Caesar was filling in at the Panama store location. We drove directly there, only to learn that Caesar was off work yesterday! Not to worry. Carlos assures us he could handle anything we need in Caesar's absence. We explained our concern, and within ten minutes Carlos had ameliorated the situation and allayed all of our fears and stress. Carlos proved to be exemplary, and handled the matter professionally and promptly. In our town, at our T-Mobile stores, the managers and team members equally extend superior customer service. The workers here do NOT know what they are doing. My father went in after processing a new FREE line over the phone and all he needed was a new SIM card. They would not let him leave with out "activating" the SIM card not letting him know that they added an ADDITIONAL line to his plan. He was there for hours for nothing. Definitely avoid this store if you can. Even the customer service agent admitted that these workers do not know what they are doing. What a joke of a store. read more

My husband and I went into this location on 02/19/17 to upgrade his phone since we are on the jump plan. We were told that we were to pay $60 for the "upgrade", $20 for a one time upgrade fee, and $60 for taxes on the phone. We decided to not upgrade and juat do everything online since usually there are better deals online. Fast forward to today. I called and spoke to customer service and was advised that was incorrect that with my jump plan we dont pay anything. Im very disappointed in the employees at this tmoible. Seems like they were to lazy to actually look at my plan when they pulled up my account. We wont be back to this tmobile. read more

Purchased a Samsung Galaxy S6 from this location. Unfortunately the device was defective so I tried EXCHANGING it WITHIN their 14 day return/exchange policy and was denied. I spoke with Stephanie, who is the store manager and she said there was nothing she could do without charging me a restocking fee. I shouldn't be charged a restocking fee for a defective device, especially within the first 14 days. A restocking fee should only be applied when one is exchanging a device to a completely different device or returning it in general. I did eventually get it exchanged, but had to talk to so many people before that actually happening. Good luck going to this store!!! read more

I went into T Mobile because I needed a printout for court. All I needed was just something stating how long I've been a customer with T Mobile. I called customer service to see if it was possible before I packed up my four kids. Customer service assured me that I would be able to just walk and get a printout. I walk in the store and explain to them exactly what I needed. They automatically said they couldn't do it... I called customer service while I was there and they told me that they could which I already knew but I was trying to prove to them so they could just give me a printout and I could get on my way instead they argued with me and then just walked away from me while I was trying to explain what customer service was telling me . I ended up going to the T Mobile in the mall and within 5 minutes I got exactly what I needed. I won't be back to this location. I did not get their names but it was 3 men and this took place on June 6th 2019 at 6:30pm. read more

This store deliberately made a mistake that cost me $300 after speaking with the "store manager" Alex he said he didn't know who helped me (even tho the screen tells you the name of the associate) I found out later. 1. They didn't write down notes in the system 2.they lied to my face 3. They lied on the notes saying there were no damages on the device making it look like I had damaged it and had to pay the premium....SO UNPROFESSIONAL TO SAY THE LEAST DON'T GO TO THIS STORE!!! read more
