Very disappointed in their service. Decided to get home internet wifi last month came in today to pay my bill because I never got an email or a text on when it was due. It was due onbthe 16th but just today the 23rd of August they said we owe 155. They want us to pay for a reinstalling. Um no. My husband and I said nope we won't be paying that. Why weren't we informed when it was due. This is a bunch of bullshit. I don't recommend anyone getting there home internet. They screwed us and didn't even give us a chance to pay it on time. Very disappointed customer. Us being new customer they should have waved the reinstalled fee. But since they don't seem to care if they lose a customer we decided to drop our home internet with them. Highly don't rec anyone going through what we went through. read more

Went in to upgrade phones , the process is swift but I was not ok how they just add there "bundle pack" without even asking , I just needed the phone, so they threw in some apple earphones which was an extra charge to my account when I didn't need them or want them. Then the charging block is always an optional buy , I have extra one and told her this 3 times but she assured it came with the price of the phone which is a lie because when I saw my receipt it was an extra charge aside from the phone. Now understand why she didn't give me my printed receipt and just emailed it to me. read more

On Sat. 01/09/21, at about 6:10pm, I entered this store do get help with my phone. I had have been experiencing ongoing problems with my cell phone and my service going back as far as 12/24/20. Calls to Sprint Tech Support did no good, they referred me to Tier Two Tech Support, they inturn sent me to this specific store. (Note- the unidentified store employee would not let me explain this to her) At the door, I was welcomed into the store by one female employee who remained at the door while I was in the store. As I walk towards the rear of the store, I observed a male employee sitting to the left side and a female employee sitting to the right. The female looked up from her cell phone and said we'll be with you in just one moment. I was the only customer in the store both employees appeared to be on their private cell phones, not a store tablet. I asked the male employee on the left if he was the store manager to which he replied no I am not. I told him well it's probably a good thing you're not because I'm pretty mad right about now because I keep getting told different stories qby the store manager and by every other employee that I speak with be in the store or be at from tech support. About that time the female on the right interrupted and offered to help so I started directing my conversation toward her. When I began to explain to her what my problem was, I barely got five words into the sentence before she started interrupting me and talking loudly. She had the nerve to tell me did I did not have a right to be mad. I was shocked by her response and I told her excuse me? I have every right to be mad as a customer, I am paying for a service that does not work! I have been back to the store numerous times I've been on the phone with tech support for hours all I want is to get my phone working it's a service that I pay for and I'm not getting what I pay for. The entire time she continued to yell at me to the point that she started using profanity. I looked at her shirt and I noticed that she did not have a name tag. I asked her what her name was, she refused to answer. I have learned in dealing with this store's employees before that if you don't know the name of the person you're dealing with, then it's as if you never entered the store to do business with them. Since she was unwilling to give me her name, I took her picture. The female employee then began waving her arms up in the air, screaming and yelling, demanding that I immediately erase her pictures from the phone. She then started threatening me, telling me that she was going to call the police on me, which I welcomed, because I hadn't done anything wrong. She continued to use profanity, sticking her middle finger out at me, yelling that I didn't know what I was talking about because I didn't work there. She then ran into the bathroom and started calling people on the phone; Meanwhile, the male employee sat there and made no attempt to assist me. Eventually the female came out of the bathroom and told me that she had talked with the store manager, named not given, and that according to him, I had to leave the store. I asked her again if she was going to call the police as she had threatened to to, she stated, why would I, they're not going to do anything anyways. I informed her that the reason they weren't going to do anything was because I hadn't done anything wrong! I paid for a service, my cell phone to be working and I'm not getting the service that I pay for. She continued to interrupt me every time I try to explain to her that I had several problems that I needed help with that is why I came into the store. She told me that I could have called customer support and they could have activated my SIM card over the phone. When I tried to explain to her why they could not do it, she continued to yell at me, screaming get out of the store! She then began being demeaning towards me, yelling what is wrong with you are you okay? What is wrong with you? Are you okay? you're not right! Your not right! I chose to leave the store because none of the three employees, mainly the two that were towards the back of the store, we're willing to do anything to help me. I felt sorry for the young lady that greeted me at the door, she didn't do anything wrong, she was being polite. However the male and the female towards the back of the store did absolutely nothing to help me. A good caring coworker, in this case the male, he should have simply told the female (who refused to give me her name), coworker to take a break, I'll handle this. Then he )should have stepped up to the counter and asked me, sir how may I help you? He could have apologized regarding his coworkers unprofessional inappropriate behaviour and foul mouth, regardless if he meant it or not. I gotta admit that the first time I went in there in (around) Feb/Mar 2022, I was not impressed with the service because I was told that my phone was not 5G compatible and that's why my messages weren't being received after a year of being on my Samsung with T-mobile. So, they said I could have a T-Mobile Revvl for free if I traded in my Samsung. I said sure. Never really worked right with all the setups messed up. Had to call Tech Support several times to fix things. Finally the T-Mobile phone got really messed up where it started adding urls to my text, then my contacts all got messed up. So, went in today with the intention of buying another Samsung instead of the crappy Revvl that I was given the year before. This time, I got great service, my new phone works great. Shout out to Albert who did the personal setup and Elijah who gave me insight into the equipment. Albert went on to explain specific things that I had questions about regarding my phone setup. The two ladies that helped me last year and did not give me the same level of service is no longer there. So, as always, caveat emptor but the service level has changed. Also, don't buy a T-mobile phone as the operating system is really bad and although I am used to Android phones, the "smart" phone is not intuitive and there are no You-Tube how-to's on the T-Mobile phone. I originally gave this a 5-star rating but today I found out that I was going to charged for an Apple watch addition to my account and insurance for my phone which added up to a total of $15/mo extra. I tried calling T-mobile support to get these charges off and needless to say it took several calls because I am now being routed to the Philippines (I believe) and there is a language barrier. So, at this point, I don't know if my bill has been corrected to reflect my true wants/needs. read more

I went info the Oakdale location on 2/6/24 to pay my internet bill. I usually pay it online , but I'd been so busy with studying, that I forgot. I was helped by Albert. I informed him of what I needed and he took care of me right away. He informed me of the savings that I could receive regarding other plans, but he didnt pressure or haggle me on making a decision. I was also assisted by another great employee named Alondra, who helped me with the T Mobile Tuesday app. Ive worked in healthcare for 30 years now (which is also customer service to some aspect) and I know great customer service when I receive it ! These two are definitely an asset to the company. I signed up for auto pay but now Im going to be sad that I wont have to go in and pay my bill. I'll come up with a reason to pop in and see these two, and you should too. read more

We had the worst experience here! Very rude incompetent staff. I went to the Riverbank location after leaving here ! Go to Riverbank location! they are smart and classy and and competent. To be honest my experience here was so terrible I'm done with T mobile all together , I'm going back to Verizon. read more

Went into the store on Sat. Ordered two phones that had to be shipped because they had no inventory. Associate stated they would be overnighted. No phones on Sunday. Phones supposed to be delivered Monday btw 3 and 7. At 8:30 on Monday still no phones. Called the store and was told "supposed to be delivered by 7" I asked why and where are my phones? Response " that's a question for UPS" and then silence. 3 or 4 days to overnight my phones. They charged me 60 dollars for 'service fees' and tried to tell me it was taxes. This service is only serving Tmobile. Not their customers. I tried caling Tmobile and was put on hold for 2 hours. Not ok. read more

The Modesto residents who wrote of dreadful experiences with T-Mobile must have gone into the store at Oakdale and Scenic Drive. Unfortunately, so did I. I initially went in on Oct. 6th because I was having issues with my phone and wanted it repaired. There was a speaker on display directly behind me that was blaring obnoxious sounds so loudly throughout the store that I could not hear the employee who was assisting me. (no name tag) I asked her 3 times to turn down the noise but she refused, saying the speaker had to be left on. I was in that store more than and hour and a half with the speaker about 10 feet behind me and blasting continuously. I had to repeatedly ask the employee to repeat herself as I could not hear her over the din. Initially I tried to tell her I had problems with my phone. She did not ask about the concerns; just said it wasn't worth fixing. I had only had it for two years. She lead me to the display of new phones; I reluctantly selected a lower-priced phone and she said I should receive a discount for upgrading my old phone. When she went back to her computer she told me the new phone was FREE! She asked me if I wanted to stay with Sprint or change to T-Mobile; she said there were no benefits to changing so I said stay with Sprint. I thought they were one and the same company. She asked me that question 3 times as though she was trying to get me to change; after the 3rd time I agreed since she said it didn't make difference as of next year it was all going to be T-Mobile anyway. I was surprised because recent advertising has Sprint "now is T-Mobile". I was charged $107.00 for taxes on the new phone and a screen saver, completed the purchase and left the store. That was on a Wednesday. The following Monday's mail brought a bill from Sprint charging me for the new phone. I just knew it was a mistake so I took the bill the next day into the same store. They, too, said it was a mistake and needed to talk with their customer service to get it straightened out. After over an hour of phone calls, mostly being on hold, the manager came to me with anything but a helpful attitude and told me point blank "you have two options: you can either pay for the phone or you can leave it here". It seems the decision from corporate was that if I had said stay with Sprint the phone would have been free, but when I finally agreed to change to T-Mobile now I had to pay for the phone. And the bill for the new phone came NOT from T-Mobile but from Sprint! There was no arguing the logic with her. The store reeked of incompetence and belligerence. I tendered my credit card to pay for the phone since I could not be without one, and she couldn't even text or email me a receipt. I finally got a receipt in the form of a screenshot off her computer! Sprint/T-Mobile just stuck it to me for over $400. Evidently they needed it more than I do. I hope they choke on it. By the way, the seond time in the store the speaker was turned off; the store was quiet. And here I was told it had to be turned on and blasting! read more

The only reason I'm giving them one star is because I can't give them negative stars. I had to turn my phone in because it's 3G, and would get a better deal trading it in. So I took my phone in for trading. The girl taking my phone looked at the settings and pointed out to the other employee that it had never been backed up. I said, "It's important to me that I keep all the pictures i have." When they gave me my new phone, there were apps missing. She said, "Oh, that's ok, we can get your-" and then she paused. Then said, "It's already been wiped clean, so we can't do that." She took my phone and wiped it clean, before asking me, while it was still my property. Then she told my husband, "We asked her if she backed it up and she [me] said yes." Theb she looked at me and said, "It's not our responsibility. That's your fault." So they took my phone while I still owned it, wiped it clean, and blamed me. These people suck. read more
