This place is a hidden gem for sandwiches. Been going here for years now, and the sandwiches here are beyond your expectation delicious. The workers here are really nice. No really, they are very nice here. Every time I come in here I've always been greeted with a friendly, warm, smile. With that being said, I've tried quite a few sandwiches here and they are all good. The chicken whardorf here is very popular. I really like it but it's a little too sweet for my taste. Not that very sweet but my pallet doesn't take sweets that well. Either way, the sandwich is very good. The chicken cashew sandwich is very good as well. A little spin off from the chicken whardorf and not as sweet. My favorite sandwich here is the tuna salad sandwich. The onions that come with it just makes it. Of course you can get the sandwich without onions but I like them on. My favorite bread to get is the squaw bread. It's soft, and you can tell it's very fresh. This is not your typical sandwich joint. It's small, busy, and tucked away in a trip mall. Only the locals really know about this place. But if you love sandwiches, you really must try this place, as you will not be disappointed. read more

Ok, So I wanted something Healthy....let me note I have never wrote a review: and this place was right around the corner from where I work. I asked for their pick in bread. And the friendly workers said most people get the squaw bread. Although I didn't want cheese, this sandwich that I added bacon too, came with cheese. It was like a BLT with alvocado and the crunchy sprouts awwww tasted so good mixed in. It gave it that extra crunchy taste. I took a bite and it was so so good , I mean the cheese and flavors, they must have picked the perfect tomatoes...what more can I Say.....They also had in front this huge chocolate cookie...Oh my...but I chose the fruit instead...and it had a great tasty flavor with a cherry couple of grapes kiwi, yellow and orange....may have been pineapples and mango....blue berries....YES IT WAS GOOD Too..... So today I already ordered...and I'll probably be greedy and eat both halves....I thought 13 something in cost was a little high UNTIL that First BITE made me smile. Truly yummy! I came here with a coworker for lunch and and the food was great! We got a chicken salad sandwich and the chicken walnut sandwich. All the ingredients were amazing and the bread was lovely and soft. The service is really fast and the woman working was so sweet and gave us a free scoop of ice cream. They have a nice outdoor seating area (because COVID) and it's dog friendly. Portion wise they really hook it up with pretty big sandwiches and the price is inexpensive. Stopped in for an ice cream with my little one. The ladies behind the counter were warm and bubbly. I frequent this great little sandwich shoppe since I work across the street. Everything is super fresh and yummy! (Pun intended.) I always order the veggie on squaw with pepper jack cheese. The bread is soft and fresh. They do not skimp on size plus you get a pickle on the side! It always hits the spot. The fruit salad is great too. My coworkers all say that the chicken cashew is to die for. The staff is pretty friendly. Definitely gets busy during lunch but you can always call ahead. I love this little local sandwich shop! I like the BLT, chicken cashew, or egg salad sandwich... on squaw bread of course! Their portions are huge and everything is so fresh. The people who work there are always very friendly too. If you're doing take-out I recommend calling ahead to place your order...they can get busy during the lunch hour. Also, if you work in a office nearby they do a great job with large orders if you want to cater lunch. One word to describe their waldorf chicken salad sandwich: AMAZEBALLS!! Is that one word or two? Who cares. The sandwich was delicious. Don't be overwhelmed by the crunchiness (lettuce, apples and walnuts) because the flavors work so well together along with the other necessities like the sweetness of the grapes, the softness of the chicken and bread. Let me start out by saying that there is only ever one thing wrong with this breakfast and lunchtime eatery: it's SUPER popular (and thus usually very busy). Other than that, this place is fantastic. I have been coming here for a number of years and the food has always been good. TC Yummies serves generally sandwich and soup type meals simply because that's what their main demographic is: lunch. Their chicken salad and pretty much everything else chicken salad like is all freshly made and always fantastic. Even their fruit cups are good. They have yogurt that is generally on par with some of the best yogurt places in Orange County (a la the venerable Golden Spoon). This is nice because if you have off early one day, you can go before they close (which I believe is ~4PM) and not have to compete with all the school kids like you do at Golden Spoon and Yogurtland. And it's good yogurt, like I said! The service is always good and only gets better as you become a regular. The people are nice and very fast at giving you your food. It gets a little hectic at lunch and they usually do a good job at still trying to be as nice as possible. If you do happen to go at lunchtime, though, I'd highly suggest you call it in just in case you don't have a long lunch break. read more

I've been wanting to eat here for a few months and finally made it in for lunch. The parking there is very difficult as the majority of the parking lot is reserved for Hospital and medical clinic. The staff was extremely kind and we're very quick to come out and start taking orders from the line as there is only one cashier. The food came quickly to my surprise because it was packed at lunch time. Over all I wasn't super impressed with the sandwich. With the rapid turn around on my order I suspect that the bacon was pre cooked as it was very crunchy and seemed over cooked. I personally will not return but I think it's work a visit. read more

First time here. Gave 3 stars mainly because the cashew chicken salad had a long black hair in it (not appetizing). The French roll was hard and the tomatoes weren't ripe enough. That being said... the service was great, the chicken cashew salad was different but good (has apples in it), and the place was clean. One of my favorite lunch spots in Fullerton. They have a very good variety of sandwiches and salads, and some home-made soups. What I like the most is that you can order a half-sandwich without the limited selection that many places have. Note that their sandwiches are large enough to share, which is less expensive than buying two half-sandwiches. read more

My review is for the bbq chicken sandwich and their customer service. Been coming here for awhile and was so happy to have found this spot thinking it was a gem. Today unfortunately I had such a bad experience I'm questioning whether I'll come back. Ordered the bbq chicken sandwich for the FIRST TIME on the phone. When I picked it up it was just the bread with shredded chicken overloaded with bbq sauce and nothing else in it. When I asked if it came with anything else I was told that I would have to ask to have it toasted and to ask for veggies with them. Sad but I have it a try. The chicken was super tough and dry and I ended up tossing my $7 sandwhich away .. When I suggested to the lady to have their employees ask over the phone if the customer wanted the bread toasted and want veggies in it. I mean if it's your first time ordering that sandwhich how are you supposed to know to ask? She Rudely cut me off and explained that things are the way they are even with customers complaining about the same issue in the past . So why not change it? Who knows Anyways. Good little sandwich shoppe. They have a tendency to get busy at the lunch rush, so if you call ahead, they'll have your order waiting for you. Can get a little pricey for a sandwich, but all of the area restaurants are competing for the business brought in by the St. Jude expansion and Providence projects. It can get stuffy in here in the summertime; they do have a little sidewalk patio for outdoor dining. Free refills on fountain drinks is always a plus on a hot day. read more

Went here for a late lunch on Saturday and everything was great. Seems like a good local business, which I always like to support. A lot of regulars came in and out while we were eating, always a good sign. Waldorf Chicken on Squaw Bread, perfect mixture of great chicken salad and a good hearty bread that can stand up to it. Also had the T.C. Combo which was great and fresh, tons of meat. Finished off with some of the frozen yougurt, which was better than expected, extra creamy and smooth. My fave is the cashew chicken sandwhich on squaw :D Its very good and healthy, With tax its about $6 and doesnt come with a drink or chips but its so big, you dont even need chips. This was my first time here. This place is located in a not so busy or popular area. It is next to St. Jude's Human Resources. The lady at the register was nice, friendly, and helpful. I did not know which sandwich to try, so she helped me decide. I got the club. It definitely hit the spot. I cannot wait to try a different sandwich on the menu.
