MandRo offers fruit bingsoo flavors, such as strawberry and mango, as well as non-fruit options, including chocolate, injeolmi, and matcha. If you're not feeling bingsoo, they also have different drinks on the menu you can order. While they don't have as large of a bingsoo selection as some other places I've been to, I've enjoyed all of their flavors I've tried so far. My favorite is the strawberry bingsoo, since the fruit pieces are fresh and pair well with the snow. They offer two bingsoo sizes (regular and large), and the regular is great for sharing between two to three people. You place your order on a kiosk near the counter, and the workers will let you know when it's ready. There is plenty of seating inside as well. I saw they have a new Dubai chocolate bingsoo, which I hope to try soon!

At least I think it's Taiwanese. It was described as frozen milk shaved like shaved ice. It's very fluffy and not chunky like regularly snow cones you get at fairs and festivals. This shaved ices don't compare. I loved the texture of the shaved ice in our Mango Bingsoo(Regular). The shaved ice was covered with mangos and dressed with sweetened condensed milk. I wish there was a larger portion of the condensed milk to pour on top of the plain ice when you run out of mangos. The proportions mango to shaved ice was pretty spot on, though you could always use another layer or two of mangos. I just can't get enough mangos. Price- This was pretty pricy and I would say it's a special occasion type of place. In addition i Size- The regular was the perfect size to share with a friend. For two of us the large would have been too much. Restrooms- They have one unisex bathroom in back. Thankfully you don't need a code to go in. It was clean and well supplied. Entertainment- They have a bookshelf of games to entertain you and your friends as you enjoy your sweet treat. Parking- There is plenty of parking as they share a private lot with the shopping center. It's nothing like downtown Davis where parking is scarce and there is a time limit. It's green matcha foam on top, then this bright blue liquid and white/milk bottom. Once you mix it, it becomes a turquois color. It also taste really good. Refreshing coconut milk/water, subtle sweetness (70% sugar) and strong matcha. When you get to the bottom, you get the bits of coconut. However, the ice cream machine broke down, and it was going to be another 10-min wait. But then, 10 minutes later, I went back to the counter and the ice cream machine apparently was done for the done. I left with a refund but no soft serve in my hands. Very disappointed. There is a lot of table space in the cafe and when UC Davis is in session, I've found many of the tables to be occupied by students doing just that. Mishka's Cafe has been around since 1995 and is a beloved place in Davis. It's a traditional cafe that has a welcoming atmosphere. When you first walk into the cafe you'll see the food case just to your left. It is filled with cafe items such as croissants, muffins, and cookies. There are savory items as well as sweet. I found the quality of the food here to be quite good and unique. Sometimes cafe food just feels like it came from somewhere else, but even if these did, they have a uniqueness about them. For example, the chocolate croissant is very flakey with a good amount of chocolate in the interior. It really surprised me! I also found the ham and cheese croissant to be very rich in flavor. My only gripe about either or these items was the heating method. I'm not sure how they are heated up, but they feel as though they used one of those quick heaters to quickly get them ready rather than a good toaster to get the items nice and crisp. As good as they are they were a bit limp due to the heating method. In terms of coffee, it's perfectly adequate. They have special offerings as well as their traditional menu. I found the coffee to be mild and friendly. It's not too strong nor very unique. It's just a solid cup. Sometimes that's really all you need.

Although the meat looks like it was freshly cut, I found it to be quite tough. I also was not really a fan of the bra, but I know the broth is also up to personal taste. For myself personally, I think the one at Dah Bao is better, and I've had much better in the Bay Area and outside of the bay. That being said, we both really enjoyed the chicken and rice. It was such a nostalgic taste, and we felt like the serving size was great. The drink was warm. We asked for light ice not no ice lol. The grass jelly was also extra sweet so this drink just felt overly sweet. This location seems to have the same great items and a beautiful and bright interior space for people to hang out and enjoy. If you like coffee on the sweeter side, I highly recommend the horchata cold brew. This drink is the perfect mix of coffee and horchata. It goes down so easily that I finished my cup in no time at all. I wished they actually had larger sizes because I would definitely go for that. I did, however, find that they sold canned versions of the horchata cold brew. I picked up a 4-pack and I'd say the canned versions get about 85% of the real deal that you order at the cafe. They are a little pricey, but if you want some on demand at home it's not a bad option. The breakfast sandwich is also a huge stand out. The sandwich is big and fluffy. It's much better than you can get a bigger name coffee places and fast food places. The egg inside is fluffy and filled with delicious peppers. It was so satisfying to eat! This may be my favorite breakfast food item in Davis. It is well worth a try.
