We went in because my daughter who lives in Sacramento begged me to grab a soot sprite mug they were selling but alas they were sold out so we took the opportunity to get a matcha strawberry and a tiramisu latte and were happily consoled

I've been excited to write this review from first sip of my taro black sesame che with espresso. I think it was the best drink I've ever had. Big declaration. So creamy with a great taro black sesame taste and not too sweet! The uniqueness and fullness of the flavor is what really swept me away. For my second visit, I had something from the seasonal menu, the blueberry hojicha latte. I enjoyed it, but it still came second to their taro black sesame che. I also tried a little of the raspberry dark chocolate latte which was delicious, but not my taste palette. Their seasonal menu does change, of course, so there's always something new to try, which is dangerous for a drink lover like me.

Amazing drinks! Loved it so much that we are going back today to try more ! Very busy place , popular. It's a small, crammed place but so worth it for their drinks. Very good service.

Amazing drinks here!! They are very popular but they have the drinks out in a timely manner. I really enjoyed that they use fresh fruit in their drinks it made it so much better. The place was pretty small too but they kept it clean and well organized. Passion Fruit Soda: So much passion fruit pulp it was so tasty I love it! I would highly recommend this drink. 10/10 Strawberry Matcha: The strawberry puree is very good and so was their matcha. I wish I got a larger size. 10/10 Raspberry Chocolate Mocha: I'm not a huge coffee fan but this was pretty tasty ! I only tried a little but I wish they put more puree in it, still good. 7.5/10 Lavender Matcha: Wow so tasty, they just have great ingredients so it tasted like lavender but not artificial. 10/10 Mango Sticky Rice Matcha: this is really fun to try and so pretty but a little too sweet for me ! tastes like ice cream though, yummm. 8/10 I would highly recommend this place and definitely go back!

Great spot to get Vietnamese coffee and sweet drinks. Vietnamese coffee is known to be really strong. This cafe has created some fun flavors. I'm glad there was a vegan option that didn't have condensed milk. However it still tasted very sweet. It's a small shop, and it was so busy on a Saturday afternoon. I had to find street parking, and I found a metered spot. There is only one bathroom in the back. Credit card/Apple pay accepted

This has been on my list for a while to try for matcha. The gals were super friendly. The spot has a cool vibe. They have a pretty large selection of flavors and drinks. Sadly, I didn't really love what I got but I would give it another try in the future. The flavor just wasn't my jam.

Cozy little shop! The matcha was great, definitely get the hype. I had the mango sticky rice matcha and it was very unique. Would definitely return to get the banana pudding matcha!

Awesome little Viet cafe. Think Bambu, but aura x100. They have a nice coffee and tea selection, but I come when I'm feeling I need a little treat (and honestly, that's all the time). As mentioned by others, their standard coffee menu is posted on the back wall, but they also have specialty dessert drinks and rotate seasonal specials that are taped to the counter at the register. You can also peep their Instagram to get a heads up of what they're working on. The Taro Sesame is a particularly delightful thick and creamy dessert that's heaven in a cup. Seasonal drinks are fun and always try to incorporate Viet/SEA flavors. Some of the drinks can run a bit sweet, so just ask before you order. Of their snacks, I've only tried one of the mini mooncakes (just fine), and most of their pastries are sold out by the time I get to try so that might speak for itself. There's limited seating inside, meant mainly for parties of 1-2, but if you're lucky you can snag a chair in front of an OG N64 Mario Kart and crush your enemies - I mean hang out with your friends while you wait.

Have you ever felt as if your wildest dreams all came true at the same time? That's quite literally how the banana cream pie matcha made me feel. I took a sip and immediately entered a blissful state of zen and gratitude - it was hands down the best matcha I've ever had. The house-made pudding, real banana slices, graham crumbles, and matcha mix delighted my taste buds in the most pleasant way! Disclaimer: Tí Cafe typically has over an hour of a wait due to the wonderful drinks (and food!). When you see a long line on S Broadway and start to wonder what everyone is waiting around for, it's this. So so good!!! You need to go!

I ordered 4 drinks from Ti Cafe and they were all wonderful! A touch sweet for some of my family members but I loved them! I got the matcha no sua, lychee strawberry limeade, honey grapefruit with sparkling jasmine, and the strawberry oolong tea. I got to try a sip of each drink and I truly enjoyed them all even if they were a little too sweet for my brother in law. Go and get takeout but don't stay because it's a very small business with very limited seating. I had to go in with my baby and it's not very family friendly and there is no changing table in the restrooms. Overall I thought service was fairly good, took under 20 min for my drinks. I would go back to order the rest of the menu but hopefully not have to go with any large group or with children

This Vietnamese inspired cafe offers thai tea, pandan and matcha in many different combinations. I noticed it was very busy earlier this year even in the winter. No hours were posted but I spoke a staff member this morning while walking my female doberman. She said their hours at 9am-6pm Mon-Sat and 10am-6pm Sun. I came later and got an iced Pandan Matcha with whipped cream. The matcha was well blended, no chalkiness. I was last here in 2022 even though it's close to my home. I joined the rewards program sponsored by Toast. Several pastries are available. There are 3 high top tables and several chairs. There were 3 stools on the sidewalk

Amazing drinks and food. I got the tiramisu iced coffee and it was delicious. It was pretty busy and the shop itself is kinda small. But other than that, it was great.

They upped their game since my last visit. More items on the menu and pictures as well! I got the blue toffee hojicha which was way too sweet for me. I wanted more strong hojicha flavor but it was unique and I would continue to come back to try their other menu items. Service was much faster this time. Bathrooms have a code.

Casual, tasty Vietnamese spot with a great combo plate…read more Dan Da was one of my first times having Vietnamese cuisine, or at least the first time I can recall, and it was tasty. The inside is very casual, and the menu is great. My fiancée and I split the chilled spring rolls with shrimp. Two come in an order, and they were a good size. They're a classic spring roll served with peanut dipping sauce on the side. We also shared the combination rice plate, which was a great way to sample several items from the menu. It comes with chicken, pork, beef, and shrimp. My favorites, in order, were the chicken, the shrimp, the beef, and lastly the pork chop. I was surprised the chicken ended up on top, but it was very tasty. It also comes with an egg roll cut into several pieces, which makes it a great dish to share. One person in our group ordered the shaken beef signature dish, and the beef was very yummy. Would highly recommend this place. I'm looking forward to coming back.

Service overall wasn't that great. It was pretty loud and the workers were really busy. You'd ask them for something like water and it would take them over 15 minutes to get it to you unless you go up to them to the bar and wait. Owner himself even saw us wanting something and he walked by - too busy for all his customers I guess. Food itself was pretty good though. We got the tower, which had all sorts of ingredients to make a DIY spring roll. Some good classic beef on top, crunch shrimp cake in the middle, and all sorts of good veggies on bottom. Probably my favorite thing here though it's a bit expensive. Also got the spicy chicken with lemongrass - overall tasted salty. Was a bit difficult to eat without rice. Papaya salad itself was good. It had fish sauce and some shrimp and came with shrimp chips. Also a bit salty, but better than the chicken. Overall a promising place. Make the food less salty. Service is something they need to work on, especially during rush hour. Can't charge these prices if you're going to be slow.

The broth was amply salty and wonderfully flavourful. I asked for a side of chili oil, and they said that would be $2 (very unusual and a rip off for what you get); luckily, the chili oil was wonderfully flavourful and pants-shittingly spicy -- you only need a tiny bit (a teaspoon maybe), and your pho becomes red hot, which I was down with. Other than charging for chili oil (and needing only a tiny bit of it), the experience was phenomenal. Very tasty, good service, fast, and good value. Highly recommended.

A true hidden gem - do not miss this place!…read more This Vietnamese restaurant is one of those spots you hope stays a local secret forever, but it's just too good not to share. The food, portions, flavors, and overall experience are absolutely outstanding. First - you cannot leave without trying the homemade ginger ale. I have no idea what magic they put into it, but it is truly out of this world. It's unique, refreshing, and easily one of the most memorable drinks I've had at a restaurant. The pho is consistently delicious - packed with incredible flavor. The sesame chicken is another standout, but honestly, the curries are where this place really shines. My friend said the lamb curry was one of the best things he has ever eaten, and I completely understand why. The curries come out piping hot and overflowing- literally. The atmosphere is just as special as the food. The inside has such a great vibe - cozy, welcoming, and full of character. They also have the cutest little patio that feels like a hidden oasis with all the greenery and homey touches. The management and staff are phenomenal. They are always friendly, attentive, and genuinely care about your experience. They constantly check in and somehow always seem to surprise you with something extra. You can tell this place is run by people who truly love what they do. We've done both takeout and dine-in, and the quality never changes. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with care. They also have great vegan options, so there really is something for everyone. They are connected with the same ownership/management as Golden Bánh Mì next door, which is also incredible - clearly there is a passion for creating amazing food and experiences.

However, the staff was extremely accommodating and did a great job making sure everyone was taken care of. Even though the restaurant was busy and our group was much larger than the average party, they still provided great service and were very patient with us. I really appreciated how much effort they put into making the experience enjoyable for everyone. The food was also very tasty. I ordered the sesame chicken, and it had the perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors. The sauce had just the right amount of sweetness without being overwhelming, and the chicken had a really good crunch to it. It was exactly what I was hoping for and definitely one of the highlights of my meal. Everything else that I tried was enjoyable as well, and overall, I was impressed with the quality of the food. My biggest complaint was more about the layout of the restaurant than the food or service. Because we had such a large group, there really weren't many spaces available that could accommodate everyone together. We ended up having to sit at five separate tables, which was a little inconvenient when we were trying to celebrate a birthday as a group. I completely understand that the staff was working with the space they had, and I really appreciate that they did everything they could to accommodate us. It just would have been nice if there were a larger seating area where big parties could sit together. I think a remodel or some type of redesign of the dining area could really benefit the restaurant, especially if they frequently have larger parties. Creating a designated space for bigger groups would make the experience much more convenient and would allow families and large groups to actually sit together and enjoy their meals. Overall, though, we had a great experience. The staff was incredibly accommodating, the food was delicious, and they did a great job handling our large group despite how busy they were. The seating situation was definitely the only downside, and I think that could be improved with a little more space or a remodel. I would still come back, especially for the food and the excellent service!

I love that their menu has your run of the mill options but they have a specials page with harder to find Vietnamese options, like banh xeo or banh canh cua. They do NOT have banh cuon though, just fyi. I read other reviews saying the banh canh cua and bun bo hue are really good here, and lemme tell you. The yelpers did not disappoint! Everything in the canh cua is hella good, especially the broth. All I added was lime, veggies, and a little chili oil. Perfection! I couldn't finish the bowl since we ordered a bunch of other stuff but canh cua keeps well so even heated up the next day, the noodles and everything were intact and yummy. It does come with blood cubes but if you aren't a fan, like myself, you can ask them to take it out. They have several BBH meat options but my BF went with the King bowl which has everything in it. We didn't realize that it comes with a giant beef bone on the side. Considering we ordered two of these for our 4 person table, our table was packed AF lol The BBH has a good flavor and depth, not that spicy, and if you like a lot of meat variety, this is the one for you. We also ordered spring rolls, eggrolls, banh it ram, and banh beo for the table. The banh it ram and banh beo were sooooooo freakin good. They stuff the chewy part of the banh it ram with a yummy pork filling, and the crunch on the bottom was such a good contrast to the chewiness of the mochi like top. I've had this dish a few times before but I have to say, O Lien does it best. You really have to dunk these things in the nuoc mam (sweet fish) otherwise it will taste a little plain. The banh beo were some of the best I've had. They really load these babies up with toppings, which I appreciate because some places are so stingy with the chicharrones and shrimp dust - thats the orange stuff on top. These were also a highlight for me, I love the sweet savory flavor, and the chewiness of the banh beo. This is another thing you kinda have to drown in nuoc ma for flavor and they're pretty big so kudos to you if you can one bite this. For me, I found it a little more appetizing to cut in half and scoop up with my spoon. The egg rolls were good, nothing crazy. Just a nice solid egg roll. I didn't try the spring rolls but my cousin said the sauce it came with didn't have a peanutty taste. It said it tasted more like soy sauce than anything.. so for him, he would pass. We popped in on a Sunday night at 7, and they had a whole waitlist with people waiting inside and outside. We were lucky and only had to wait about 15 minutes. They claim they close at 8 but they def had people seated past that. They're super busy and for good reason. The food is bomb! They're in a small plaza with a tiny lot, so you might catch a spot if you're lucky otherwise you'll have to find street parking, which shouldn't be too bad. The inside is fairly spacious, so they do get people moving in and our fairly quickly.

Plus, you don't have to pack your suitcase. I, myself, haven't been back in a while, but I can tell you my wonton soup, the one I always order when I eat here, still taste the same. The broth was deliciously made, and the chopped green onions enhanced the flavor to this broth. The 5-6 wontons, which held the main meats of ground pork and minced shrimp, were perfectly seasoned. With each bite, I want to bite more of the meat and slurp the broth. Be careful though: the broth can be steamed hot. Make sure to check both the broth and the wonton before you put them into your mouth or else the soup will burn you. You've been warned. For my main entrée, I ordered bánh xèo, which is Vietnamese crepe with shrimp and pork. One bite of this, wrapped in fresh lettuce, mint, basil, cucumber, pickled carrot and radish, and your taste buds will explode! You can even taste the coconut in the crepe/batter along with bean sprouts and green onions. Hint: if you ordered this item and do not taste the coconut milk from the crepe, you are not eating an authentic bánh xèo (Vietnamese crepe).
