December 30th 2021.... There has been a increase in Covid omnicron variant in Denver Colorado, even…read moreso that the Governor has put out new stipulations to combat the positive increases....My wife's manufacturing plant was shut down due to positive tests, 300 employees were sent home with about 10% testing positive. That day My wife texted telling me she was not feeling well and so I asked to reschedule with Summer just in case due to me possibly having the virus and spreading it to Summer and her spreading it to her clients! I am trying to take the necessary precautions. Summer told me that she would not reschedule! I mean as a business and especially a health trainer I would be concerned that she is willing to put herself in harms way and become a super spreader with her type of employment. Sadly she is not taking this seriously and it's people like that, that we are still fighting this mess because they are not taking the precautions. I've had family pass away from Covid so to me this is serious.

I immediately noticed changes within the first week of implementing the dietary and strength training recommendations. I also love her emails with recipes and encouragement. Since working with her my body has become much more toned, I feel stronger, and I am maintaining my preferred weight. Additionally, I feel that I get injured less doing endurance activities because of the well-rounded strength training program that she developed. My favorite is how many compliments I get on my arms!

I really like this workout facility! I'm a new military spouse and this is only the 2nd military…read moregym I've been to, but it has EVERYTHING I need for a workout. There are different rooms to do aerobics, mat work, cardio, weights, golf simulation, racquetball, and crossfit. The gym is huge and can host a plethora of team sports simultaneously. No matter what time I go to the gym, it is hardly ever busy. I really enjoy "The Pit" where I can do some crossfit workouts and then I mosey upstairs to the cardio area to row. The front desk staff is always so patient with me. Because I am new to the gym, I ask where things are, etc and everyone I have ever asked a question to has been so helpful and have never made me feel like I'm bothering them. Yesterday, I inquired about the spin bikes since they have recumbent bikes and different bikes in the cardio room and was told they are in the west gym. I was able to make up my own workout on the spin bike for 40 mins thanks to all my years of going to spin studios. With the extensive variation of equipment, you'll definitely get the workout you're wanting and because it's never busy, you'll always have access to equipment immediately.

Numerous group classes, free personal training, nutritionists, cleanliness, indoor and outdoor running tracks, running and bike trails just outside the door. I could go on and on. But you're tired of reading and I'm tired of typing, so check it out for yourself. I'm always finding something new in this gym. Note: This gym is only open to active duty and retired military, dependents, and DoD employees.

I've been going to this rec center for about a year now & I love it! This is a regional rec center…read morethat not only offers classes, workout equipment & a gym but it also has basketball, pickle ball, volleyball & an indoor pool with a lazy river. This facility has a wall of huge windows with a beautiful view of the mountains. It's kept up & clean. There's always plenty of parking...there are even charging stations for electric vehicles. Note, membership is free for Denver residents that are 60+ & those ages 5-18. With membership you have access to all 30 Denver rec centers & pools. I regularly go to two classes - one is a Cardio & Strength class & the other is Tai Chi, both are drop-in. The instructors are fun & very knowledgeable. Christine teaches the cardio class & always demonstrates modifications, so it's perfect for all levels of fitness. Maureen is very well versed in Tai Chi as well. This is a fantastic center with fabulous instructors.

This review is specifically for the layout of the weights on the second floor. More specifically,…read morethe location of the bench press (2) and incline bench (1). The position of the two bench presses and incline bench are pushed up against the wall on the East side of the building. Right where the steel reinforcement beams are located which leaves NO space to safely spot your partner without hitting your head or back on one of those beams. You cannot even get behind them without crawling around the weights or beams themselves. This is incredibly dangerous and a major safety issue. Whomever designed the layout of the weight room does not appear to have experience with weight training. The nautilus machines and free weight areas should probably be switched. There is nowhere to safely stretch (people do it under the stairs) or do ab exercises, box jumps, etc. Someone, with knowledge of weight training, should redesign the space for efficiency and safety.
