Went in for a nagging leg issue that I knew wasn't anything serious but that I needed to do something about before it became serious. Mark at the Horizon Ridge location did a thorough evaluation, set me up on a plan for at home exercises and a couple times a week at the office and after a few weeks I was back to doing all the things without any issues. Also very important to me is that if it flares up again I am now equipped with the knowledge to handle it at home if needed. Yesterday I had first physical therapy session. Tarah first evaluated my range of motion and strength. Asked me about my current situation and my goals. To get my quads firing she put on the tens, followed that up with a few range of motion and strength exercises, gave me a deep tissue leg massage, put the tens back on for pain control and an ice pack. All through the session I was checked on many times. The staff introduced themselves. There was conversation and laughing along with productive work. PT is much more than exercises! This is my 2nd time with Tarah and staff. I had a right total knee replacement 3 years ago. Now I am rehabbing from my left tkr. I fully expect the same excellent results. read more

I have been coming to Tru for a few weeks for PT. Thanks to Pam L. who I met at the Barre3 CMYE, I learned about Tru right when I got prescribed PT by my doctor. It is very convenient for me (a few minutes' drive from home) and they are open 7 AM to 7 PM several days a week. I have made 5 PM appointments every time and have been able to leave work, change at home, and make it here on time. I see Tarah as recommended by Pam L. and she is wonderful. The whole staff is very nice and it is a collaborative effort during sessions here. I feel comfortable here, and the background music in here is really good too! The price is reasonable since I have not met my deductible and pay for all medical expenses out of pocket. I have learned great exercises to do at work as well to prevent injury and hopefully heal more quickly. I recommend Tru if PT is an option for you. read more

What a fantastic experience recovering from my ACL surgery with these guys! Over the course of three months, with 3x per week appts, I got to know the team very well. This is a great place for rehab and therapy. I went there for my left shoulder rehab after my July 2015 surgery. This place is clean, and it is easy to schedule appointments. Gina is an excellent therapist and she and her assistants Bree and Korin, kept a close eye on me when I'm was doing my exercises. I have been to other therapy places and would definitely recommend this one! I'd like to update my review in light of my new surgery, on my right shoulder in December 2015. I was so happy with Synergy, that I chose this as my therapy place again after surgery on my other shoulder. Gina continues as my therapist and I couldn't be happier! Although we all have different experiences, after going to Synergy for 11 months and two surgeries, I must once again tout their excellence and am shocked anyone could have a different experience there. About a year ago I started having lower back pain. It kept getting worse and I knew that I needed to get a consultation to see what was going on. I was hoping that I didn't need to have surgery. On my first appointment they did an assessment and told me that my disc was pinching my spinal cord. She said that my upper back was very stiff (maybe from exercise or the way that I stand/sit) and the lack of movement was putting all of the pressure on my lower back. I started going three times a week where she would loosen up the tight muscles and show me exercises on how to strengthen the lower back. I wanted to get better quickly but they told me that it would take time. I am happy to say that after three months I am 90% better and continuing to improve every day. Eva, Nicole, and the rest of the team where amazing. I walked in thinking that I would need to have back surgery and I walked out feeling better than I have in years. I ruptured my Achilles tendon in late 2012, and required about 6-12 months of physical therapy. Synergy's clinic on Horizon Ridge and Valle Verde was close to home, and got great reviews on yelp, so I gave it a shot. Let me tell you, I've made a few poor choices in life; this was not one of them. Nicole and her staff are friendly, caring, generous with their time, and get results. The staff is dedicated to making you better and restoring your function and well being. Scheduling was a breeze, and they are flexible with their schedule. Unlike many medical offices in the Valley, the front office staff here is quick, personal, and friendly. Even when busy, the staff is efficient but friendly. I've never gone to a physical therapy clinic that felt more familial. The clinic is clean, and the staff takes good care to wipe down and sanitize the machines, and generally keep the place tidy. There's also some specialized equipment, like the Vertimax, for training explosiveness and vertical. Even the small details, like hand towel service for sweat, and clean bathrooms are not overlooked. After my insurance cut me off after about 7 months, Synergy put me on a fitness program, which was a godsend. For $50 a month, I could continue to go to the clinic and work on my regiment. After 18 months, my ankle was finally feeling mostly normal, but I still go for fitness; it's way cheaper than personal training, and a good supplement for other workouts. Scott Snow, PT, DPT skillfully crafted the therapy plan for my total knee replacement in 2017. Assistants Tony, Joy, and others at the Eastern Ave. location cheerfully guided my efforts as well until the insurance-paid sessions were exhausted. I, then, opted to do their monthly Fitness Plan at my own expense to keep the momentum going for several months longer. I have full ROM in that knee now and can do a full flight of stairs with ease.
