He is very knowledgeable and seems to know what he is talking about in terms of watching cholesterol numbers, diet & exercise. I'm following up with him in a cpl months. Today I am here to see Dr. Sbaih to get a cortisone shot in my shoulder. I was so happy to hear from him on Friday that she administers these!! My shoulder has been bothering me for a month & my P.T. Exercises aren't helping. Too much inflammation & pinching going on. After today I should be fixed up & good to go! Thanks so much! Oh, on a side note my appointment was at 1:00 & was was taken back on time! Yay! I'm updating after I've had my appt and meeting Dr. Sbaih. I really like her! She takes the time to listen & doesn't rush you (Dr. Miller also). Hard to find these days. I got my cortisone injection in my shoulder in two places & I can honestly say that is the EASIEST cortisone shot I've ever had!! Usually it hurts sooo bad & I feel every bit of it. Not with her. I barely felt anything! Love these Dr.'s & the nurses & receptionists are top notch also! Highly recommend if you're looking for a Dr. give them a call. :)

I had seen the doctor and…read moregot set up with a prescription that for some reason never made it through to the pharmacy.. I left a couple messages at the doctors office and never got a return and the prescription never showed up. So here's the great part comes. I had my follow up appointment and told the doctor what was going on. She immediately had me get the pharmacy on the phone right there talked with them verified that they did not get the prescription and stayed on the phone until they received both electronic and a fax to show that they got my prescription finally. Then at that point my appointment started and was unrushed. Normally, you always have to go through the people at the front desk to get these kind of things handled but the doctor was so adamant about me being taken care of. She would not get off the phone until they verified the prescription.. to me in this day and age that was top-notch customer service. If you're looking for a new doctor. Look no farther than Dr.Sbaih here at advanced family medicine. It really means a lot because I originally lost the last doctor I had for several years and I was nervous about finding somebody that was as good as my old Doctor was and now I couldn't feel any better about my new doctor. A-1 service.

When asked about insurance, I replied with my Medicare advantage plan. At that point the person with whom I was speaking stopped me, claiming that Medicare would only pay for a dietitian if there were a pre existing condition such as diabetes -- anything else is strictly self pay. Afterwards, I contacted my Medicare advantage carrier and found out this response was completely inaccurate, that there are no prerequisites for being seen by a dietitian. It is my understanding that the carrier reached out to the clinic to clarify, but did not receive a reply to several voice mail messages. Not sure whether Medicare or the disability caused this misinformation to be communicated, but my trust was lost immediately.

His staff were perfectly kind and mostly respectful. When I met with the doctor, he kept commenting about how "big" I was. (news flash: I know that I am obese.) I already felt like I hit rock bottom going in, but when I was told by the doctor to go on a "liquid diet" (aka 2 meal replacement shakes a day according to him) before he'd even consider surgery was baffling advice. He asked about my exercising and was shocked to know that I do yoga and walk. He commented about how he's been doing this for 20 years and how he can "crank a bunch of these out." I was already feeling hopeless, but I left that office crying my eyes out. I understand the truth of my obesity and how I exactly got here, but I felt as if I was there to meet his bottom line, not a person to be heard and empathized with. I paid $300 for a terrible consultation only to leave crying. Don't even bother coming here without insurance as it'll run you a mere $26k with about $600 additional testing.

After a year of crammed waiting rooms, rushed 5-minute appointments, and a provider who responded to my autoimmune diagnosis with "try X and come back in a year" -- I started researching alternatives and found the Direct Primary Care model. It seemed too good to be true. It isn't. From my first appointment, David treated me like a whole person. Unhurried, thorough, and actually explains what things mean. Labs are done in-house at a fraction of what I was paying before. The difference was so stark that my husband -- who had no interest in DPC -- signed up the same night he heard about my experience. If you're frustrated with the state of healthcare in Vegas, this is worth every penny of the membership fee.

They were backed up and I have extreme sensory issues. I waited as long as I could under the fluorescent lights with David. About an hour. Finally just after trying to open the inoperable window and before bashing my body against the walls I decided to leave... but the Doctor was standing in the hall and said "I'll be in there next!" I waited. He was with us in under a minute and graciously apologetic. I blurted out that I have sensory issues and the room was difficult for me-- and he reached up and turned off the offending fluorescents! "Is that better?" I suddenly felt as if David was in good hands and not wanting to bleed focus from him, I am currently waiting in the car.

So I was like what did I get myself into! I came into the facility the receptionist greeted me showed me around explained the process. Told me what I needed to do and told me I had to wear gloves, headband socks with slippers and mouth cover and told me to take off all jewelry that will not be covered. They provided slippers and it's all different kind of slippers too. So cute! So then she stated there is a box -where you start off from before you go into the main box - that is like a warm up. Before I left I was curious on what else they had, because let me tell you after I got out the frozen box I felt so energized! Amazing !! I lovedddd it!
