The Swiss Colony is only one of two that I know of that gives you $500 or more in credit in house to buy gifts--birthdays, Christmas, celebrations, what have you. Be warned, however, the items are expensive for what you get, and shipping is another 30% of the total for EACH item, and that can double if you expedite. Also, the pictures make the items look much bigger than they are. You can make very small payments (about 5% of the total you owe), but at 26% interest you can end up paying double or triple the cost for using credit over several months. Today 12/10/2025 I got what I paid for; all the items were in perfect condition, and shipping time was reasonable (one week) considering it's December. I would not recommend that you ship from ANY gift website with food in the summer, or where the temperatures are routinely above 75° F, as these are extremely perishable items. read more

We've used SC for 7 years and the products have been very good. The problem we've had for last 2 years is they have assigned our billings to the wrong account, then even though the bill was paid in full, because they posted it to the wrong account, they put a negative mark on credit bureaus. Omg I'm so glad I ordered from this amazing company. I ordered the big baby swiss and it is high quality and delicious. It was well packaged and nothing was melted. This was delivered to my home in North Carolina all the way from Wisconsin. They also included a free box of chocolates as a thank you gift. Great price too and a wide variety of home made goodies. Did not recieve order on time for a Christmas present. Then recieved notice of weather delay. I called Swiss Colony and the lady told me it was out of their hands and to call Fed Ex. Then I recieved a notice that my package was recieved by some guy named Emato. I called my credit card company and disputed the charges (which they did). Package miraculously showed up the next day without notice. It was in total disarray and missing items. I then began recieving letters from Swiss Colony threatening to report me to the credit bureau. I contacted my credit card co. and they informed me that Swiss Colony had stopped responding to them. Needless to say...I will no longer be ordering anything from this company again. Terrible customer service!! Canceled my order that I placed the night of the 3rd on the 4th after they asked me to verify address before shipping. I saw address was wrong. They don't have edit address but they have cancel order. So I canceled it. Emailed them asking when I'd get my refund. They tell me they already shipped my order on the 4th so I can't have a refund. Then they tell me they will refund my money for the order but not shipping because it already shipped on the 3rd. Which is it 3rd or 4th. Beware of free items with first purchase...They don't have a way to designate where the freebies are supposed to go in their own line order and use different code from catalogue. The code they use is for one item only, I guess if u call in your first order you can use the code for 2 free items. I called to change my first order and the CSR lied to me. I have a major problem with Swiss Colony. I ordered almost $200 worth of gifts for Christmas this year. On my bill it states "You've qualified for free shipping". To me free shipping means I don't pay for shipping. My shipping came to $53.30. Next to "You've qualified for free shipping" it says click here. I did and I felt that I now was getting free shipping. I guess my mistake. My bank was charged $248.34. At the time I thought nothing about the charge thinking that soon there would be an adjustment made to my account at the bank. That was on December 12, 2025 when I placed the order. It's now December 19. There has been no adjustment. No shipping refund has occurred. All my gifts from Swiss Colony have been shipped. Today I called to find when my refund would appear. I was told that "Free Shipping" wasn't what that meant. It meant I got "Perks" or a rebate. I was in disbelief. I said I have the bill right here and it states free shipping. The rep tells me that it is confusing. He goes on further to tell me that the person who posted that message doesn't really know English that well. I'd leave negative stars if I could. My grandma used to order from this company when I was a kid. I ordered from them this past Christmas for the coworkers at my office. I put it on their credit to pay in January when I had more available money after the holiday season. Biggest mistake I ever made. Their website is a joke. My account was never updated with my order information so I couldn't pay online. I sent countless emails back and forth with their "customer service reps" that always sent back canned responses making it clear the company doesn't care about its customers. I was told to call and pay over the phone. I told them I didn't feel comfortable doing that and wanted to pay online. This was never resolved. When I did get the paper statement in the mail in February, I mailed a physical check to them immediately. For the whole balance. The check was cashed on the 10th and then I had a delinquent report filed against my credit on the 11th. I've spent the last two and a half weeks trying to get this sorted out since that one ding dropped my score by almost 100 points. Finally, it came to a head today when the credit department supervisor I spoke to talked over, cut me off before I could finish my sentences, yelled, and then proceeded to hang up on me. I called back and reported the interaction and I sincerely hope she is severely reprimanded. Now I get to deal with the credit bureaus to try and have this BS claim removed from my credit report. I sent my son the most expensive package (9lb 4 oz) assortment last year. He was DELIGHTED. I sent the exact package this year and he called and said the sizes of the products were less than half as they were last year, yet the price was the same. He said the box was the same size as last year which was PACKED with products, but this year, the same size box had products rolling around with lots of empty space. I got a gifted a snack tin from my 97 year old grandma of "The Ultimate Snack Mix". When I opened up the tin of snacks, not only did it look old but it tasted old and stale. When I tried a piece of candy, I had to spit it out of my mouth.... The candy which was similar to an M&M was crunchy hard and it had a horrible old taste to it. Their food is awful!! I think this tin was returned by another customer and resent out as if it was new and fresh!! Swiss colony reminds me that my satisfaction is guaranteed, they obviously don't know the meaning of "guaranteed ". I was overcharged in shipping and customer service couldn't do anything about it. The box my gift was in was destroyed because the distribution center placed shipping label so it couldn't be removed without damaging the box.
