Try a cocktail flight! Join the flight club! Great place to meet with friends and coworkers for happy hour.

The food here is always delicious. LOVED this baked lemon chicken. The outdoor patio area is huge and a great spot in the summer. The cocktails here are also phenomenal and they do fun themed flights too.

If you just want bar food in Monroe, this is your place. Dill pickle pizza is a unique treat for sure. Fried cheese curds were over breaded but still, keep in mind, bar food. Our server was super nice and chatty. Atmosphere was fair at best. Don't miss out on this compound since Minhas also has a microbrewery and distillery across the street and next door. Just plain fun without any glitz.

If you are going to experience the Minhas trinity, then you are going to need food and why not dine at Minhas? :-) I really like this little restaurant in the Minhas campus. You can sample wine, craft cocktails or beer while sampling a pretty diverse menu, which includes really great pricing on daily specials. The wine is decent, though I really think the beer and cocktails are what Minhas is best at. The egg rolls were delicious and the specials are pretty good. I had the beef tips and my husband had the chicken. I'd probably order more off the main menu next time. Thank you for a good experience!

Shoutout to our waitress Mackenzie! She was very friendly and kind and recommended some tasty shrimp spring rolls. We did the Groupon wine and cheese pairing and it was a great amount of food and 6 1 oz pours for the deal. Very good deal and quick and friendly service. On thursdays they have baskets with your choice of protein and fries for $7.99. I also wish I had known about the yelp check in for a free glass of wine.

After having a few drinks next door at Minhas Distillery we decided to go next door for a few appetizers. Once we checked in,Yelp offered a free glass of wine. A nice surprise. I'm not a wine drinker so my wife tried the pear wine which she said was a little sweet but refreshing. I had to order the Wisconsin Old Fashion which was only 6.50 and was not disappointed. We tried the cheese curds which came with ranch and chipotle dipping sauces. Very good ..not greasy at all. We also tried the Spicey Chile Shrimp which were very tasty and a good portion. My wife wanted to try the Spring Rolls and you can choose between pork belly or shrimp. She chose the pork belly which tasted more like thick cut bacon in our opinion. Prices very reasonable. For a quick bite to eat..this is a great place with a friendly staff . Wines and liquors available for purchase.

Our party of four enjoyed lunch here today. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. We ordered three appetizers to share and drinks. Everything was delicious and satisfying. Prices are reasonable. We will return next time we are in the area to try more menu items.

New service methods need to be rethought. Restaurant is know for quality food but service in takeout containers is a royal joke.

We're so glad we did! They are only open for breakfast and lunch. We walked into this restaurant that has a very small town feel with a Swiss theme. The walls were painted in a Swiss style that my girlfriend said reminded of her time spent in southern Germany. The booths and counter remind me of something from the 60s. The booths could use some maintenance and repairs. The booth we sat at the upholstery was cracked. You could see the foam padding. We arrived and it did not take long to be greeted and seated. The service here was fantastic. The staff was on top of everything. They were friendly, attentive, but not intrusive. Honestly it was some of the perfect service we have ever had. As for the food... Well... You have to love a small-town family restaurant. I had the Country Fried steak and Eggs. It was some of the best Country Fried Steak and Eggs I've had in a long time, and definitely the best I've had in the region. When it was brought to the table, I didn't have high expectations as the Gravy looked like it was going to be a plain white gravy with little to no flavor. First impressions can be very wrong. It had a great flavor and was delicious. The steak was cooked to perfection. The breading was a crispy, flavorful delight. I had zero complaints. It came with hashbrowns. Normally when I order hashbrowns I ask for them to be fried extra crispy because I feel it adds to the flavor. I forgot to do this, but I didn't need to. They weren't as cooked as I prefer, but they had a great flavor that, when mixed with either the eggs or gravy, were absolutely delightful. My girlfriend ordered the eggs and hashbrowns and was impressed by the hashbrowns before I even had a chance to taste them. They were great. With that being said, remember this is a small-town family restaurant. The food is what you're going to get at these locations. This is not a Michelin star restaurant; let alone one located in a large city. It's small-town awesomeness. It's a slice of Americana. It's pure nostalgia. You get a good meal, at a decent price. You're not going to get fancy décor and complicated menus. If you want a fine breakfast, you won't be disappointed with Swiss Alps.

Cuteness rating is a 4 (vintage 1940s barback, lots of brick and barnwood) VISIT ONE: I had the brisket sandwich. It wasn't quite what I expected (piece of sauced brisket on a bun), but it was good. Brisket was moist. Served with a choice of side. Plenty for lunch. Wait staff was pleasant. VISIT TWO: Sat at the bar this trip. It was at least 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us, even though wait staff walked behind the bar a couple of times and made eye contact. May not have been her domain, because we were finally waited on by someone else who I assume was the bartender. She was a little rude. Asked her for the wifi password, which had been changed since the previous visit and she responded "I don't have access to that information". Ordered a cheeseburger with everything on it, and she said, " i dont know what that is. You're going to have to tell me." Really? It's a burger & it generally means lettuce, onion, tomatoes, pickles. You know, the exact items listed on the menu. Geez! Husband asked about the soup of the day and was told by the soup nazi that they didn't have any - just chili, today. Burger was served on a fresh kaiser roll and was good. The salad was fairly large and was also fresh. We'll be back again (buy local!). Maybe more hospitable staff will be working the next time.

The seating areas, the umbrellas, the view, and the vineyards themselves. I recommend highly you come in summer, spring or fall and sit outside and enjoy your wine like we always do. I know the categories of their wines as dry, but, I found that they were more in the semi sweet side. They're sparkling wine, and the rosé were amazing. The reds were great as well. We ended up tasting six red wine and bought one bottle. They also have charcuterie, boards, and pizza. Go to this winery. You won't be disappointed.

You walk in and go upstairs to the tasting room. There are options for a 3-wine tasting and a 6-wine tasting. We obviously went with the 6...but also because the offering options were numerous and so many in each of our preferred wheelhouses. They pour the wine and give you a glass holder with all of them at once, so you can take it where you want to enjoy your wine, which I really like. The patio was welcoming and the view was wonderful and we enjoyed our initial tasting so much, we opted for ordering food and getting a bit more wine to drink to extend our visit! I got a large pretzel which was...fine. I expected and hoped for something more/better, but it was fine. My friend got a pizza and it was pretty alright as well. I am mostly just pleased and grateful that they have fairly substantial food options to enjoy with your wine. The tasting notes on the wine list are spot on, so pay attention to those! But also, try something new and different! The Almond bubbly was a delightful surprise! And the coffee infused wine was a bold offering. The staff were lovely and friendly, but also weren't too pushy or up in our business. It struck the perfect chord. Highly recommend a visit here if you like trying wines in Wisconsin!
