The food here is what I call "upscale homemade"-you feel like you're eating uptown gourmet in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere!

Food was excellent, service was great and the cheese curds were probably the best I've had.

Surprisingly good food. Good service. Prices reasonable. Not a fan of the outdoor country music but others might like that.

Cuteness rating is a 4 (vintage 1940s barback, lots of brick and barnwood) VISIT ONE: I had the brisket sandwich. It wasn't quite what I expected (piece of sauced brisket on a bun), but it was good. Brisket was moist. Served with a choice of side. Plenty for lunch. Wait staff was pleasant. VISIT TWO: Sat at the bar this trip. It was at least 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us, even though wait staff walked behind the bar a couple of times and made eye contact. May not have been her domain, because we were finally waited on by someone else who I assume was the bartender. She was a little rude. Asked her for the wifi password, which had been changed since the previous visit and she responded "I don't have access to that information". Ordered a cheeseburger with everything on it, and she said, " i dont know what that is. You're going to have to tell me." Really? It's a burger & it generally means lettuce, onion, tomatoes, pickles. You know, the exact items listed on the menu. Geez! Husband asked about the soup of the day and was told by the soup nazi that they didn't have any - just chili, today. Burger was served on a fresh kaiser roll and was good. The salad was fairly large and was also fresh. We'll be back again (buy local!). Maybe more hospitable staff will be working the next time.

Prime time sandwich was dipped with flavor. Waffle fries I would say were fire too!!!

It has a lot more room than expected with enough space for live music. As for the drinks and food they're good stuff also. The prices can be high but it's not crazy for the atmosphere and quality. Basically this is one of the first places one encounters when entering town from the east. It's located in the Irish Cottage Inn & Suites. The hotel itself is very nice and has lots of amenities of its own if wanting to stay there. As for the restaurant itself it's one of the highlights. It's about $8 for an Irish coffee, which is a classic in the morning, evening, or whenever. Amazingly they have non dairy options including Bailey's Dairy Free Toffee Cream. It's about $18 or more for an entree which is a lot. We were able to find a few plant based options. I got the Roasted Squash Bowl. This has broccolini, farro, heirloom tomato relish, pickled red cabbage, and white beech mushrooms. An earthy flavor. She had the Vegan Shepherd's Pie. An alternative made with faux beef and mushroom gravy There's also plenty of meaty options like beef medallions. For sure it's one of the nicer restaurants around here. It's closed Mondays. They amazingly have a few things for vegans and vegetarians.

Obviously assembled by someone who appreciates food. The cucumber slices were just the right thickness - and an ample amount. The slaw, the pork, the cilantro, the sauce, the bun - it all came together for a delicious experience. And the onion rings were lightly battered with thick onions - superb. I didn't take a pic - but Rick enjoyed his brisket. Other customers were raving about the ribs the day we were there. We each had a Mud Run beer and pleasant conversation with the staff. I am seriously planning an extra trip to visit Mom just so I can stop to have a Mud Run lunch on the way.

We said we'd pay for a taco and the fries, they couldn't do that , they'd probably comp the meal well waited 10 minutes to find out if that was gonna happen. No dice, they just ignored us, and some other girl came to the register saying the manager left, and I see the original server dip in to the bathroom. Sooo I just paid the bill and left 18% i know stupid me. Not going not recommending this place apparently money is the bottom. Line, these servers are something else.
