The brisket sandwich was very good on a fresh roll with melty cheddar cheese and if a couple onion rings were topped this would be next level for the sandwich. The brisket was tender but not melt in your with a nice pink smoke ring but way too lean, see my pictures because I would have like to have a little more fat for flavor. The frys looked house cut and and pretty good. The rib platter at the other looked pretty F'n good by the way. Overall this was a nice place to get some bbq in downtown Monroe but be prepared to wait for a table at peak times because it's very popular.

(Your yelp hours are 9 pm) Fine. A bit rude but whatever. I order a salad and chicken wings. I was told 20 minutes. 15 minutes later I get a phone call saying they are out of wings. I call back and they told me they will not be making my food at all as the cook does not want to cook anymore and they are closing up now. If I wanted to I could come back tomorrow and order. Wow. It's like a child was left in charge of your resteraunt. She apparently had no control over the cook...and it did not seem like it was a big deal to her. I waited 2 days to write this review as I did not wish to be emotional. But the lack of professionalism is shocking. I realize this is a small town and getting any kind of help let alone actual people that take the tiniest amount of pride in their work must be difficult. I would not recommend that you ship from ANY gift website with food in the summer, or where the temperatures are routinely above 75° F, as these are extremely perishable items.
