We wanted the best for our grandkids so we researched and came up with this company. Very well made. Solid. But flaws. One in that the slide is not made for young kids. It goes so fast with a big drop off that our grandson hurt his back. Dennis, the owner, never returned my calls about this. Then we wanted to add the rock wall and a shelf he said we could do. He never returned my calls. The little enclosed play area was not assembled tightly enough so weeds were growing through the slats. I'd recommend a play-set from perhaps Costco. I think our kids said it best - "We never have to go to a park again!" Ok, maybe that's a stretch, but, we absolutely love our playset from Swing Set Solutions! Where to begin... We had a strangely shaped spot of grass in our yard to put our playset. I researched everywhere to find a place. Looked at all the leading manufacturers, local installers, etc and was not fully satisfied considering space utilization/value/overall fun factor. In comes my friend's glowing recommendation of Dennis from Swing Set Solutions. Dennis comes out, carefully examines our spot, and together, we start designing the most awesome structure to fit into our strange-shaped spot. And, this is where Dennis is really great to work with. We were able to use a "lightly" used set, combined with some refurbished parts, with even some new parts thrown into the mix to create the set of our childrens' dreams! I tried designing some custom sets on-line and they ended up being far more expensive and not nearly as awesome. Once we agreed on the details, Dennis's crew was out in under a week to begin the install. The assembly crew knows playets. They were right on with everything and know what and where actual hazards can be and know how to put together a really fun set. The set is pretty big, so, it took them a few days to put it together, but, when they finished the job, it came out AMAZING! 3 platforms going up to 7 ft - wow! 2 slides - a 5 ft and a 7 ft (weeeeee!), a clubhouse, a picnic table, swings, and lots of fun telescopes, binoculars, rope bucket, swings and wheels to play with. Our kids really can't get enough of it. I love the poly-vinyl material. Being that it is surrounding wood beams, it has all the strength of wood, but without the wear, rough edges, and splintering associated with it. I'll state it simply - you'd be crazy to install a playset without calling Swing Set Solutions first! From the design, install, value, and overall fun factor, there is no place that can compare. My 1st review on yelp and unfortunatly it is a negative one. Normally I would not waste my time writing a negative review and just choose to never use the company again. But because this was me trying to be charitable for children I want people like me to be warned. I have a older swing set system that cost me in excess of $6000 when purchased new that I wanted to donate to a family or child that could use it. My children are grown and I did not want to have it just be torn down when a family could still get some use out of it. I contacted Dennis and he informed me that he gets these kinds of calls a lot. People want to donate them to other families or churches and such. But he informed me that for liability reasons he can not do that but would come and take it for $200. I was also going to purchase a trampoline from him and I said I would discuss with my wife but then he became pushy and in a rush and texted me "You should get back to me soon with what you decided" So we decided to pay the price and his crew showed up today to take it apart. And then I found out why he was in such a rush to get this set. While they were taking it apart I noticed they were not chopping it up and were taking it down in huge sections. I asked the gentlemen why and he said "Because its for my baby". I then went to the forman and asked him and he said "Yes, Its for his son" and then pointed at the gentlemen. I was glad to hear that it was going to someone who's children will enjoy it but perturbed as to why Dennis told me that I could not donate it and was charging me $200? I am very happy that the set went to someone who will appreciate it and if Dennis had told me that and also that he would need to charge me $200 to help get it moved to this gentleman house I would have gladly said "of course". But because he choose to be dishonest with me to make a quick $200 when I just wanted to be charitable, well thats not good business. I have tried to text him but he stopped respond when I questioned him about this. I just hope he was not charging the gentlemen who came to help unassemble it as well. read more

Took them two days to complete the job because there were boards which needed to be replaced and a new roof built. Dennis was very informative as to what they could custom build with refurbished redwood. He even came over and measured our backyard to get an exact idea of how large the set could be. We had this company come out to our house with a couple days notice (with other companies fully booked for the entire week), and they really did a fine job building the Cedar Summit Canyon Ridge playground we purchased from Costco. We were on a tight schedule to get this done before a party over the weekend, and there was another crew working in the area simultaneously. Christopher and his assistant/wife Nicole were on time, very professional, courteous, and accommodating. Getting the job done correctly and overall safety of the set were Chris's main concern, which always earn bonus points for parents. Without going into too many details, Chris was able to work around another crew and come on two separate days to finish the set so the other crew could do their job correctly. I'm so grateful we went this company... our kids love the set so much and our party was a hit, thanks to Chris, Nicole, and Swing Set Solutions!
