This company is awful. The treatment that I got from the owner the Dunstan, was something that no potential customer should endure. I reached out to a couple companies and I actually got two quotes for playground equipment. I was just trying to do my due-diligence and make sure I was not getting ripped as I know nothing about this industry. The quote that I got from the other company was slightly lower than the one I got from swing set pros. When I showed this to the owner Dunstan and asked if he could match the price or give a discount, he went completely nuts on me and told me that I offended him and that he did not want to do business with me. This was completely disrespectful and no way to treat a potential customer. OVERALL : We scored a great deal on the Cedar Summit Mount Forest Lodge swing set at our nearby Costco (for under $1000!). Knowing neither I nor the Husband have ANY patience or experience with assembling any sort of swing/playset, we decided to look into hiring someone to do the job for us. After reading all the glowing reviews for Swing Set Pros, we gave them a call. Dustan was very knowledgeable about all the different playsets available. We were quoted $395 for install which is quite fair and competitive given their experience and our lack of wanting to DIY it. The two guys arrived this morning a little before 7am, set up their tent/work area and got to work straight away. They worked pretty fast and were done before 1030a - amazing! There is no way we would have been able to do it on our own in a day let alone under 4 hours without killing each other. My husband and I searched for months for the perfect swing set for our kids. We checked all the "big box stores" and on February 18th, we finally settled on one from Sams Club. Through Sams Club, we paid $699 for GoConfigure (side note: the WORST company!) to deliver and install the new swing set. Our kids were beyond excited! A very frustrating and long story short- GoConfigure cancelled date after date and a MONTH LATER we still had no swing set installed. Dunstan picked up right away and after I told him my very frustrating and long story, he told me his guys could be at my house the next day. I was so happy! We decided on the following day, as that worked better for my husband and I. I received a courtesy call from Victor the day before the installation date. He was very professional. He said he would be at my home between 7-7:30. My phone rang at 6:45am the day of installation.. it was Victor and he was outside and ready to get working on installing the swing set! Wow!!! Talk about not messing around! Victor and another installation tech got to work immediately and I'm 99.9% sure they didn't even take a break! They worked so hard and so efficiently they were done by 3:15. Victor even showed my husband and I how to tighten screws every few months and made sure we were completely satisfied with the installation before he left. I spoke to Dunstan, the owner, many times over the course of the process of trying to purchase a play set from his company. He is a very affable person and easy to talk to. Unfortunately there is not always full transparency with ordering, shipping and delivery times. When there was an issue on that side of the order and I questioned it, he verbally took his frustrations out on me which is an unacceptable way to speak to a customer. He offered me my money back 6 weeks after our initial call and I accepted. Again, this is not about the installation service but the sales side. Let me start by saying I met with the other guys SSS and didn't get a good feel from him. I got the feeling that he was overpricing all of his services and was basically selling everyone the same overpriced poly set. Anyways after seeing him i decided to look for a previously loved swingset and needed someone to pick it up and assemble it at my home. And when I asked him if I needed any refurbishment or deep cleaning fully expecting and willing to pay more if necessary he didn't lie he was honest and fair and told me I didn't and the minor things i could probably do myself. Oscar even replace a step right on the spot at no additional cost. Our kids where outside playing with there new swing set by 2pm. How is that for amazing, honest and efficient customer service. I was considering buying a wooden playset from Costco, but didn't want to put it together myself since I wouldn't know what I was doing and the thought of missing something and having my kid playing on an unsafe structure was unacceptable to me. The price was very reasonable and these guys were out right away - they had the old shaky playset disassembled in no time and the new one going up right before our eyes.
