Mini worm bin, 100+ red wigglers and bonus nightcrawlers

Go support local businesses! Sad I didn't get to meet the kids, (they were in school), but their dad and cute dog will greet you at the door! Great value for a mini worm bin and don't forget to check in for the bonus worms!

Will and Alyssa are the cutest worm purveyors in LA. Not only are they cute, they are very knowledgeable. They have a lot of experience with worms and use the castings to fertilize the various plants and fruit trees they have including grapefruit, tangerines, Valencia oranges, avocado, and strawberries. The worms come with an FAQ and instructions. They also give great advice on the bedding and how to shred cardboard to use as the worms' bedding. They also have a YouTube channel to share pro tips. They have already shared great recommendations with me. They are my go-to for vermicoposting. You will not go wrong with Will's Worms. Call/text ahead before you visit!

Will & Alyssa are BOTH the cutest worm dealers this side of the earth I called and Will got to working preparing my mini-buckets, complete with detailed instructions . It's too adorable for words. My 3 year old had a blast exploring their backyard adorned with healthy Koi fishes.

Love being able to support a local and family business! With everything happening, it's important to have hobbies and projects to do around the home. 2020 has been a year of gardening and home renovations, and vermicompost is super helpful in using up food scrap or other plant matter. Unfortunately, many nurseries available in operation don't really carry these helpful critters, and ordering online can be a risk (dead on arrival) which was an experience I had with Amazon... It's really important for me to have compost worms thriving and while also affordable for this project. Will's Worms are local in the Los Angeles/SFV and are very communicative and quick to respond to inquiries via email/messaging to set up a pick-up time. Coordinating was very easy and a must due to COVID guidelines in place. There's even contactless payment (Venmo) available which makes the transaction super easy. After coordinating a time, I was sent helpful instructions to meet up at the location (parking/landmarks) since Studio City can be difficult to find parking. And let me tell you, meeting Will & Alyssa were super sweet! These kids know so much about help composting micro-organisms and ecosystems for their age it'll blow you away. They weren't afraid either of checking the thriving worms in the bins prepared for me by hand, whereas me a grown adult would only touch with gloves LOL The "mini bins" are 6-quart totes that contain ~100 red wrigglers (I picked this type), adult & young ones, and filled with bedding enough for starting a brand new compost system. A helpful instruction manual comes with the bins giving tips and tricks to successfully have a living vermicompost system, this is also available on their website. Their website is super helpful in clearly listing out information/prices/and about the business. Highly recommend to check out Will's Worms if you're looking for some compost buggers for your project!

I thought about buying worms online but decided to support this young local entrepreneur and so glad I did. Will and his Dad provided me and my son so much more than just worms. They were very friendly flexible and super knowledgeable. All the advice they provided put our beginner fears at ease and busted some of the myths we had heard on YouTube. Thanks for all your help Will! We'll be watching your YouTube videos for even more info.

It was a bit late. I am more of a flower girl than owning plants. I have had plants in my younger years. I ended up buying 2 new outdoor plants to put outside of my window/door. It looks very pretty. I have also purchased a Christmas tree from their lot twice. Established in 1889. That should say a lot about this lovely, beautiful garden/nursery. Big parking lot right in front of the nursery/shop, and 2 clean bathrooms. Thank you all.
