He is more of an educator than a salesman. I've made many purchases here. If he can't find the plants/trees you need, he will refer you to a trusted nursery. This makes Daniel my first point of contact for all my gardening and landscape needs. The best part is that he'll provide you with his cell phone number and you can text him with questions and orders. His prices are also great. Don't hesitate, visit or call him and you'll have the confidence to begin planting.

Van Nuys has a seriously underrated little plant gem hiding right in the neighborhood!…read more I was on a mission to find pesticide-free milkweed for monarch butterflies and decided to check this nursery out. I'm SO glad I did. I ended up taking home three milkweed plants, and they were exactly what I was looking for. Luis made the experience. He was welcoming from the beginning and actually took the time to walk me around the nursery instead of just pointing me toward a section and sending me on my way. He answered my questions, showed me the different plants, and you could immediately tell how much care and dedication he puts into this place. One of the biggest reasons I'll be returning is that the plants are not treated with pesticides. When you're buying milkweed specifically to support monarchs, that matters! The entire nursery also feels genuinely cared for -- the plants are well maintained, the watering setup is thoughtful, and there are tons of interesting and exotic varieties to look through. Even before I arrived, Luis was helpful. I called to make sure they had milkweed available, and he answered the phone and was incredibly approachable. This is exactly the kind of small local nursery I love finding. Personal service, healthy plants, knowledgeable people, and you actually feel good about where you're spending your money. I will absolutely be getting my plants here from now on. If you're a plant lover -- especially if you're trying to create a butterfly or pollinator-friendly garden -- GO CHECK THIS PLACE OUT.
