We hired Poolie in April again this year to replace our pump and provide weekly cleaning. No two technicians understood our service details because of poor communication within. The install technician provided vague instructions regarding valves and power without ensuring I understood the process. We paid the service diagnostic fee, new pump, and $450 for a cleaning before set up. The results were below average. Days later, the pool tech arrived but was confused that the pool was empty, complaining it was harder to clean. He did not scrub or spray down any part of our plunge pool and basin. Marked it done. A layer of dirt remained on the floor, vents were still full of debris, and tiles remained dirty. I thought since we are giving this company around $4500 for this project, a complete clean up was guaranteed for our small pool that was kept clean all year. Poolie did send out an employee (sorry I can not remember) to make this right. He also set up getting the pool filled and explained everything in detail. We appreciate his effort in resolving many of the issues. These issues reflect a broader pattern of internal miscommunication. We frequently encountered problems with weekly cleanings being pump left on dry prime and baskets not being emptied. I was receiving sales calls for weekly service with an empty pool and no pump. It appears to be no central point of contact familiar with our account history. We have met some knowledgeable and friendly staff at Poolie, it was just inconsistent. I wish them the best.

While Chris Heath was examining the pool he was pretty confident that no issues would be found as opposed to the others just said maybe, maybe not. It felt like I as opening up myself to more charges later on. While waiting for them to begin the re-plaster and through the end of it I had a number of questions that came up. I texted them to Chris and by the end of the day I would have either a text from him answering the question or a phone call. Communication during the entire process was excellent. It reaffirmed my decision to use Crystal Clear. The results were beautiful. My thoughts were that it was nicer then when it was new, without prompting my wife actually said that very thing when she first saw it.

Pool is left unclean, the baskets don't get emptied, and when I complained to Ken, he didn't say anything besides I'll take care of it. What does "I'll take care of it mean?" He didn't send the tech back out, didn't apologize but still charged me full price. I had to clean my own pool and bring back ph and chlorine levels to where they should be. This wasn't the first time it has happen where pool isn't properly cleaned, but I let it go a here and there, but had to say something eventually. Anyway, things happen and I know you can't control what your employees do, but you can control what you do as the owner. No apology, no remedy, but no issue charging full price.

He inspected the Heater and found that the 'Mother Board' had not been installed correctly and with a little adjustment, bam, it worked !!! Saved us money for sure !!
