Pro Tech is an oasis in the desert of incompetent pool repair companies on the north shore of Long Island. However, they require that they keep the credit card number of their customers on file, a policy that originally gave us pause, but it turns out that they are very trustworthy and good at communicating clearly what their charges are. Also, rather than giving you a precise time they will come, they give you a range of dates (4-5) that they will visit and then a day before they specify a two or three hour range of possibilities. Prices at the high end of market. We've found however, that they are well worth the extra cost.

I tried to contact him a couple of times' thereafter, to no avail. He only took cash, so I have no receipt for his work. So for 230$, I got a half opened pool for an open house with a green pool. My mistake for letting this scammer con me into paying him upfront. Do not let it happen to you. Had to pay another guy the same amount to open pool.
