Despite the food tasting good, the portions are terrible. I ordered the Harvest Bowl and expected a decent ratio of chicken to the other things like apples and sweet potatoes inside, but I was wrong. There were a total of 5 pieces of chicken in my entire bowl, the rest was just full of kale. I'm not even halfway done with the bowl as you can see from the picture I added, but there is more kale than anything else that's supposed to be in this bowl. This was not worth the money.

Chopped Italian salad

First time visitor today... so I share this with understanding that things are still new. Walked in to a very nice place. Very clean and organized. However, there were only 2-3 people working on the guest line. There were 3-4 people working take-out and delivery orders. After ~15 minutes in line, I was able to order. I picked a Chopped Italian salad, but asked to remove the cucumbers and tomatoes. I subbed in olives and carrots (I wanted mushrooms, but they didn't have those). $14 and some change. When I left there were at least 25 people in line... I asked them not to mix the salad when I left. I got back to work and was less than impressed. The dressing was bland, and there was hardly any meat in it. The kale was a bit much also... and while the pictures in their social media show "full" bowls, mine wasn't close. The idea is good in theory, but $14 was a bit much - especially since I can go to Kroger and get very similar for $6-8 instead. I might try it again in the future, but I'm good for now. If you go, plan to order ahead or prepare to wait (I was there at 12:30).

I LIVE for sweetgreen. It's absolutely amazing and the ingredients are so fresh. The portions at the Bloomington location are sometimes really bad for being so expensive which is really annoying. I recommend the Brussels sprouts.

Guacamole Greens & the Elote bowl on the outdoor patio

sweetgreen has finally made its way to Bloomington - the perfect addition to our diverse small(ish) foodie city! I went to the soft opening last week and was blown away by top notch customer service, the options of fresh, beautiful food and the cute outdoor patio to enjoy. I literally felt like the person making my salad was my BFF by the time I was finished with all my selections. I wish I remembered her name because she was so personable and helpful, definitely made an impact (one of their core values that they proudly display by checkout). I had the Guacamole Greens which is - Chopped romaine, spring mix, red onion, shredded cabbage, tomato, tortilla chips, avocado, (sub blackened chicken), fresh lime squeeze, lime cilantro jalapeño vinaigrette + add goat cheese 10/10 would recommend and get it again. I can't wait to go back and try more options!

im thoroughly unamused. was excited to try sweetgreen because it's similar to chopt, but i came on a sunday and there were 2 people working. 25 people in line. i waited 25 minutes to order. ?!?!?!? this is supposed to be fast casual. the food is fine, but they SKIMP on toppings. and are unprofessional in the handling of the food. sorry but until they have more people working and start actually giving us food, this place is too expensive and too slow to visit. xoxo and in the photo - make ur own with spring mix, romaine, blackened chicken, carrots, cucumber, parmesan crisps, chickpeas, and green goddess ranch. notice how u don't see any of the vegetables? cuz i got like 2 for each.

harvest bowl

My first time trying Sweetgreen! Everything about this place was nice, clean, and good. I had the harvest bowl. Definitely legit. Everything was so pricy but so good. Got a go back lol. There was a line so beware of a slight delay but it went pretty fast. Faster than chipotle imo ha. They have an app "sweetgreen" where you can order to go so you can skip the line as well.

Friendly staff, decent food, they were out of avocados when I went. Mostly a to-go place. Limited bar seating.

You pay a membership fee, and the workers there are part of the ownership. Immediately, you are hit with warmth and just that coziness you want in a local grocery store. Whole Foods ambiance but not corporate. There is a deli and a hot/cold foods bar. Produce and plenty of plant-based options to choose from. We definitely enjoyed the experience .

Anyone who shops here knows unfriendly, rude cashiers are a long-standing norm. But this goes far beyond that. I witnessed deli employees openly mocking and laughing at a customer for wearing glasses, including using fake voices and calling them "nerdy." It was cruel, public bullying of someone who appeared to have an eye disability. The stuff of Disney schoolyard villains. Truly an insane thing to witness from grown men in work uniform on the clock. Here's the really disturbing thing... Leadership didn't even care. I reported it immediately and followed up many times (phone, email, website form, social) asking for leadership to respond. The marketing manager assured me that leadership was well aware of the incident. Two weeks later, I still haven't gotten a single response. I won't support a business that tolerates bullying and ignores people who speak up against it. Vote with your money and shop at the Bloomington Farm Stop Collective, where you can get local food AND be treated with basic human dignity.

Plenty of vegan and gluten free options! I've tried the vegan banh mi, vegan reuben, vegan brown sugar cookie, blondie, and Italian soda in lavender and vanilla. The marinated tofu used on both the banh mi sandwich and reuben is delicious. Lots of veggies on both of the sandwiches. The banh mi wasn't traditional - the mint and cilantro were more like a pesto instead of whole fresh herbs and the marinated tofu is a little different - but I really liked their take on it. Both desserts were really good, but in particular the gooey blondie with the flaked salt topping. I'm also grateful for the option to add cream to the Italian soda here - I love Italian cream soda but this is the first place I've been in a while that makes it. The atmosphere is very casual as you can place your order and pay at the counter and then seat yourself, but it's still nice and comfortable, and kept clean.

They're incredibly unique and their appetizer portion is HUGE and great for a group of people. 2. Their drinks - also unique, and really good. If you're looking for a good cocktail this is a great option. 3. Vibes - the space is cute, the vibes are fun - great for a dinner with friends or a date night. (Or a girlie brunch!) I give 4 stars because sometimes their menu feels boring - not much changes and it's a pretty small menu. I have to be in a very specific mood if I'm going here, and there's usually only 2 things I'll order. Id love more seasonal menus or just more options. Their service can also be hit or miss. I've been and had wonderful service, and I've been and felt like they forgot I existed. No one wants to be waiting around to order a drink, or to get the check. Overall - I'd definitely go. Make a reservation because they do get busy.

$60-70 Let me tell you what I experienced on 2/13/26…read more We had an OpenTable reservation, and our group traveled to Bloomington (from Carmel) for a play. We tried calling several times throughout the day to notify FARM that we needed to change the reservation because two of our guests were ill and would not be able to join. The restaurant's phone just kept forwarding to voicemail. We arrived at our reservation time and were told that we would be charged via OpenTable for the guests who did not join. When I mentioned the phone issue, the hostess said that it did not matter if we had called today, because the cancellation policy is 24 hours in advance. I did not know they would be ill 24 hours prior to the reservation - but whatever. I was not happy, but did not argue the issue. We were seated, only to find that there was a prefix "Valentine's Day Menu". We thought that was interesting because we had researched the website & menu before the evening, and there was no mention of this menu being the only option for Friday (2/13) night. Even the menu PDF says "Valentine's Day" - there were signs throughout the restaurant noting "Valentine's Day Menu". The server also mentioned that many other patrons were upset. The items on the menu were also priced far higher than the regular menu. So, we were excited to try FARM, arrived to a very sassy attitude (from the host) about the party size, noting that I was going to be charged. Getting to the table to see a modified menu, whose prices were jacked up. The (very sweet) server validated our feelings and confirmed that other patrons were upset, too. We finally just decided to leave. On the way out, the "sassy" host was snarky and mentioned that we would likely be charged again for the remaining guests leaving and not eating. I have pictures of the signs, and screenshots of the website - and I dare FARM to charge me for their false advertising. At least note the website, signage, and OpenTable if you are following modified menus or processes, and train your team better!! We were thrilled to try FARM, and left saying that we would NEVER go back. So disappointed :(
