This location is absolutely horrible. It's a shame when they first opened years ago it was great. I had gone there a handful of times and the food was great and always prepared properly as described and fresh. As of the last 6 months to a year things have been horrible. Ordering online, arriving at the store to just have the order not even prepared yet. I recently just visited on 4/23/2026 and it was the worst of them all. They were out of about 3 ingredients that went with my hot honey chicken bowl. The worker there did not know how to even make my bowl he kept having to look at the instructions on how to even make it. To add to that the blackened chicken wasn't even available as I ordered and was told when he was halfway done making it. Of course as soon as I paid for my meal the cook from the back walked out with a fresh batch of blackened chicken. The worker preparing my bowl didn't even bother to go back and check as he was making it to see if anymore was being prepared. All he did was say "sorry" and smirked as I walked out. The slaw that goes with my order was just raw onions, and also missing other ingredients. This location is horrible and it will be THE LAST time I go back. Ever. What is the point of online order ahead pickup of it takes 20+ minutes before it's ready? I've tried order ahead twice now at this location and it's never ready on time. Food - I got the Guacamole Greens salad bowl. It was too tangy and sour for my preference but I really enjoyed the mini tortilla chips that provided a nice crunch. I would've liked more avocado in the bowl as well. Service - We went in during the lunch rush and it took almost 30 minutes to get our food. The employees were restocking and fulfilling online orders, so a pretty long line formed while waiting. Be prepared to wait for a while to get your food, especially during lunch/dinner rush. First... I have tried this pace several times now and relayed feedback via their customer service. Overall, the pictures of the food are NOT what you get. Portion sizes are way less and the QUALITY is abysmal. Their steak bowl looks nothing like the picture. It is supposed to be a warm dish, yet throwing cold broccoli and cold tomatoes makes no sense. The rice is crunchy... yes, like the type that gets stuck in your teeth. I do not recommend this place unless they have a real look at the bowls and salads. I have been going to this location since it opened. My husband got us dinner tonight and I was excited to eat my normal harvest bowl when I got home. He ordered it all the normal way - harvest bowl, medium dressing, mixed. Today I took one bite and felt like I was eating the bottle of dressing. I literally squeezed 1/3 cup of dressing out of the kale today. Absolutely gross guys! I also cannot get through to the store directly and when going through the app, nobody from support connects (it's 7:30 pm). The staff still needs training as they were still confused about vegan vs gluten free and even questioned the vegan and gf tags on their own menu - smh. Also after paying a lot of money they still try to nickel and dime you when you ask for an extra side after you've removed a side from the base dish (this may also be a training issue). Net net if you're a fan and order the base dish then you should be good but if you try to customize it then be ready for confusion galore. Finally got my sweetgreen fix! My go to buffalo chicken bowl was vibrant, fresh and flavorful. I forgot how filing these bowls are...had enough for another meal later! The staff was giving Chick Fil A friendliness and very on top of things! No delays in the line or pondering which ingredients went in my bowl which is great for having just opened. Sweetgreen is a solid fast casual healthy option, and I am happy that they opened up this one in Loudoun County. This is usually a good option when I am too lazy to cook during the week, but still would like a healthy meal. I enjoy getting the Harvest Bowl and Guacamole Greens. My only complaint is that sometimes they don't fill up the bowl as much as they should. In addition, when you order at this location, it defaults to tipping which I do not appreciate. I've been an avid fan of multiple locations from Fairfax to Arlington and this one is absurd. $18 for a few bites of salad, it was tasty though! Wow! We FINALLY have a sweetgreen in Ashburn!! My wife and I have been dying for a good salad spot locally and they have finally delivered!! We stopped in today of course as it's their grand opening. There was a Ton of staff and we got through the line super quickly! We even downloaded the $5 off app which was super cool. I'm sure we will be attending often so it's nice to save up the credits and all. Next, there is plenty of space to sit and everything is shiny and new so we love that. Food is decent but way overpriced. Staff isn't particularly helpful either. We spent $45 on 2 salads... which might've been ok in a different setting and if it wasn't totally unexpected! The build your own option doesn't say what's included in it, and the people building our bowls didn't tell us what was extra or by how much. When we went to ring up, one bowl showed a bunch of generic "extra topping - $1.00" items added on, and the other bowl showed very specific items that were added and cost extra. Tiny scoop of cheese $1.50, for example, because "it's a premium item" is the only explanation I got from the disinterested cashier. Some items I got rang up as $2 extra on my bowl and only $1 extra on my husbands' bowl. It seemed totally arbitrary and inconsistent. That's my biggest issue- they need to fix their signage and menu to show what's included and what costs how much extra. Food was good but nothing special. Service was mediocre at best. Love the salads here. Ordered the rosemary focaccia for the first time and it was underwhelming and dry, but the salads were so good, fresh, and crunchy. I'm not a huge fan of kale and appreciate that you can request any alternate green. Brought my husband and daughter here for their first time and they both loved their salads. I eat here one to two times per week because their food is great with fresh and healthy ingredients. I went there tonight around 8:00 p.m. and was served by a woman who did not seem friendly. I asked for double portions of chicken and then asked for the hot sweet potatoes. She gave me what looked like five sweet potato pieces total, so I asked somewhat timidly, "Could I have a few more?" She then dished out a bunch more - it seemed to be eight to ten more pieces - to where I wondered if she was going to charge me for double portions; however, she did not say anything, so I thought she was just being generous with the serving to make up for underserving me initially. When she rang me up, the bill was higher than normal, and, sure enough, she had charged me for double portions of sweet potatoes. I asked her about this and said, "But it wasn't a full portion!" She said, "It was a full portion." I said I wasn't going to argue with her but that I wasn't happy about it. She then concluded the transaction with a very quick, curt, and disingenuous "Thank you, have a nice day" and turned her back to me immediately. I did tell her a few minutes later that she did not tell me that I would be charged double and that if she had, I would have simply asked for just a couple more pieces. She continued to assert that five pieces was a full portion, despite me saying they usually gave bigger portions than this. I am so annoyed. I am a regular and tip 5% each time. I will not be tipping anymore, because I don't feel like it. In trying to get a couple extra dollars out of me, she has now cost her shop way more than that. read more

Happy to have a healthy, quick, AND delicious option for lunch! Get the chipotle chicken bowl. It is so delicious, and I'm sad it will only be offered for a limited time. For next time I order it, I think I will ask for a light helping of the salsa because of the heat. You can definitely taste and see how fresh the food is. I would have liked my serving to be bigger but perhaps that's how you keep it healthy. :) The staff is still in training. With time, I'll come to expect that they will know what goes in each bowl by heart and how the food is served (round or rectangular bowl). But despite still being in training, my wait time from placing my order to receiving it was maybe 5 minutes, which is fine by me. There are a few tables where you can eat inside. I just ordered the new salad with peaches to go. I checked the salad before leaving and noticed it was missing some ingredients mainly goat cheese. I stood there for 10 minutes, there were no customers in there but the workers ignored me. Finally I got someone's attention in the back kitchen. She did confirm the missing goat cheese and added it.
