We have visited this restaurant many times and have often brought our daughters, so this review is based on a place we generally enjoy and have supported consistently. However, this visit was not their best, and unfortunately the overall experience reflected that. For today, I would rate it three stars, primarily due to service-related issues. The main concern centered around how certain requests were handled. When customers ask for extras and are willing to pay the additional charge, there should not be unnecessary back-and-forth or a sense of resistance. Clear communication and a positive attitude go a long way, especially when guests are already paying premium prices. Another issue involved food quality and attentiveness. If an item such as rice is running low and only the hardened portion from the bottom remains, it would be better customer service to simply let guests know that a fresh batch is being prepared and ask for a few minutes of patience. Instead, receiving rice in that condition understandably created frustration, particularly for my wife. When a meal for two totals $50 or more, guests naturally expect a higher level of care and consistency. To be fair, the food here is generally good, which is one reason we continue to return. The atmosphere was also pleasant, and we were grateful to spend quality time together--something we do not often get the chance to do. Those positives matter and should be recognized. Most importantly, the manager was the saving grace of the visit. He was courteous, professional, and accommodating when my wife addressed the concerns. That is exactly how customer service should be handled, and his response helped improve an otherwise disappointing experience. Overall, this simply felt like an off day for a restaurant we normally enjoy. We still like this establishment and hope they do better next time, because businesses should remember that guests may be choosing their location to make a rare outing or special moment enjoyable. I'd actually give this a 3.5/5. I don't think this was the greatest experience or Cava location. It's just average. The food was pretty much what's expected from Cava. It tasted fairly good and was certainly better than other restaurants with a similar format. I got double chicken and it was a LOT of chicken. My girlfriend did the same and basically had another meal for the next day. It was $37 for two double chicken bowls and a cookie. Don't remember it being that much a year or two ago. The service wasn't amazing. The lady making our food was kinda sloppy with it and we had to repeat things multiple times. It was towards the end of the day so I understand she may have been tired. They definitely didn't staff enough because she was the only one making food. The ambiance was alright. The lights kept flickering and fading in and out while we were there. It was kinda odd. I can't quite say this was a 4 star experience. It's basically what you expect from Cava these days though. read more

The positives: portions are quite generous. The food tastes great. Personally, the location is close by my home. The negatives: when ordering through the app for pick up, my orders consistently have missing requested items. My order doesn't change except for the additional toppings depending on the seasonal availabilities of some things. The most frustrating thing when they are missing are the dips. My grain bowls don't quite taste the same without the requested items. I have submitted a couple feedbacks already, but it has continued to happen. Tonight was my last straw. They don't note anywhere on the app or anything if some ingredients are out or anything like that. So it's really frustrating. The location can get quite busy especially during the week at rush hours. They keep the dining areas pretty clean and their utensils stocked. There are tables outside as well for when the weather is nicer. The staff are nice but can come off a little bit cold and indifferent. Parking can be tight especially during busy hours. But there's plenty across to the other parking lot. I don't think I'll be back to this location again. They used to be good, and I've had previous positive experiences. I just have had not so satisfying experiences recently. I hope they get back to their previous standards. I will wait to come back until then. read more

Cava is something that I crave at least once a month. Im a big bowl person - I love just dumping everything into one bowl! I always get the greens + grains bowl w/ the splendid greens and brown rice. I usually get either half chicken/half falafel or double chicken. The chicken is so soft and tender, and I really enjoy the falafel but sometimes I find it to be too salty. I top my bowls off with the Persian cucumbers, pickled red onions (A MUST), corn, feta, and ask for yogurt dill on the side. I know that people may not like Cava because it seems overpriced but they honestly pack your bowl to the brim and its nice to treat yourself to a refreshing, healthy bowl that you don't have to make at home. ;) read more

Dear Management of Cava, I hope this message finds you well. I recently visited your restaurant and felt compelled to share my experience, as it left me feeling quite disappointed and uncomfortable. Upon paying for my meal with a $20 bill, I was taken aback when the cashier scrutinized it thoroughly, even going so far as to insinuate that it might be counterfeit. This made me feel unfairly targeted and embarrassed, as if I were being treated with prejudice. My cashier even began to yell across the kitchen "this is a fake right?" to what seemed to be the supervisor. Upon checking if my TWENTY DOLLAR bill was real using a counterfeit detecter pen, i was fully aware if the bill was fake it would show a pen mark, which in this case it didn't. The workers huddled up and began to try their very best to have the pen mark appear. I cannot tell you how sad it is to have to deal with this in 2023. And whats worse is this review probably won't allow you all to find sympathy enough to punish the workers, yet it'll move you to feel "sorry". Throughout the interaction, I sensed a reluctance to complete the transaction, with every possible excuse being offered to avoid serving me. This left me feeling unwelcome and undervalued as a customer. I believe it is crucial for businesses to treat every patron with respect, regardless of their appearance. Such an experience tarnishes the reputation of your establishment and discourages potential repeat business. You certainly won't be seeing me again! I hope you take my feedback into consideration and address this matter appropriately. I believe in the potential for improvement and look forward to a more inclusive and welcoming environment in the future. Update: Although their food is tasty, I am going to only give them one star as their customer service is very slow and non existent. I forgot to get the points added for one of my orders, so I sent the receipt to their customer service asking for the points to be added after the fact, they responded after 3 weeks and 2 emails, denying the request. Almost all their competitors allow for points to be added after the fact and the rather rude response from their customer service was not appreciated. I love this place! Super healthy options, great tasting and fresh food everytime! Today I ordered their 1/2 Supergreens and 1/2 spinach salad with braised Lamb and a personalized mix of toppings included roasted corn, pickled red onions and sliced cucumbers. They have an assortment of homemade drinks, and today I'm trying their blueberry lavender drink, and it's really delicious! Cava food is great! The service at this location, however, needs major improvement, which was discouraging. Workers greeted us with sour faces and mood. Requested additional rice: staffer responded with attitude and snide comment on added charge (acknowledged - it's Cava - not Mortons). Requested lamb - that caused intense pause, discussion, and attitudes from 4 of the staffers!!! Literally had to ask if it/everything was okay. Requested pita chips, which was bagged and set aside. When we stepped back to ask for them, more attitude plus, "ask up front". Went in happy and excited, left irked. Thankfully, this is not the only location in the area. read more

Beware of this cava! I just went in for lunch with my family and ordered the greens and grains bowl with arugula. I got home and started digging in only to realize that majority of the arugula was yellow. I was annoyed but was so hungry I just picked them out. Then as I was picking out what looked like another small yellow leaf I found a large arugula leaf with MOLD on it! DISGUSTING! I took pictures and emailed cava immediately. I went back to the store to get a refund and you wouldn't believe what I discovered. The same man that filled my bowl with the yellow lettuce was also the manager. His apology was half hearted and he was inspecting them like I was crazy for thinking moldy yellow lettuce is disgusting. I will never be going back to this store. read more

Always loved CAVA food, but this location has been so disappointing over the past 2 years. Every time I go there, it feels like the staff doesn't want to serve you any food. Not sure if there is a corporate directive after 2020, but they try to give you as little as possible. I only choose 3 toppings out of the 12 they have, and when I asked for an extra spoon of pickled onions, the staff literally gave me 1 (one) pickled onion! WORST service ever! read more
