Close to a disaster evening with glass broken on and around small child and rest of the adults. We all decided on dinner November 26th and got the last oversized booth. We ordered upfront and a pitcher of Sangria. Manager on duty came and trying to balance a pitcher and 3 glasses broke 1 glass and the small child in the baby seat had glass shattered all over him as well as us. My daughter-in-law rushed to the bathroom to clean the glass off and we cleaned the table and a staff member also came. The Manager didn't seem to think it was a big deal but later apologized and sent some dessert and a replacement glass to one of our party (instead of another pitcher which would have been more appropriate). The restaurant had some issues with their register. Lydia was super helpful and immediately stepped in to help, since we were rushing to get to a movie. The chicken is always tender flavorful and prepared perfectly I ordered their pineapple, mint lemonade. I didn't realize that it came in a large carton, but it was absolutely refreshing and perfect pairing to my meal. It's hard not to douse the chicken down in the lemon herb or hot sauces. Love Nando's! The service here was great, they got us sat fairly quickly and even asked where we would like to be seated. The ordering is so convenient now that you don't have to go to the register. You can download the app or order directly online and put in your table number for them to deliver the food to you. I always get their Chicken Thighs with the Mango Lime sauce, and have stuck with that for years. The sauce is flavorful with a nice sweet and lime tang to it. Absolutely amazing and of course, make sure you grab some Nando's dipping sauce at the counter to dip it with! Employees are friendly and wrapped everything up neatly. Their chicken has a lovely grilled flavor. Choose any one of their sauces to go with it and it's a party in your mouth. Their sides are well prepared. Some of our favorites are the Garlic Bread, Peri Chips (fries), Macho Peas, Portuguese Rice, and Coleslaw. Miserable customer service. We ordered take out for our son, and my wife picked up the food. When she got to the counter she asked if the fries and sides were in the bag. They said "yes". When we go home, there were no fries, so we called the store. The store says - yeah - that happens ALL THE TIME. Really - you forget food all the time? The first time I ate here, I was amazed by the cacophony of flavors and spices that came together to make this dish that was slightly reminiscent of the Mediterranean dishes I grew up on in a Lebanese/Portuguese household. The chicken was top-notch, and the sides were unique. But every time since that first stop a few years back has seemed to have gotten worse and worse. My most recent experience consisted of undercooked chicken, hard-as-a-rock avocado, and next to no communication about missing sides not being available until I was unable to do anything about it. All of these things are really impossible to address too in a pickup order with kids screaming in the car about how they wanted Mac N' Cheese but instead are only getting another side of fries. The fries were probably fried for 5 days in succession, they were dark Brown in colour, they looked old and rotten, very dry, obviously non nutritional value left in them.
