My wife and I had dinner there on 3/14/2025. She had a quarter chicken with fried rice and salad. The chicken was delicious. Skin was flavorful, crispy. Rice was well seasoned. Salad was fresh. Terrible service. We had to repeat or order like 10 times- no one was writing anything down. Cashiers looked like they were in the worst mood possible. It wasn't even busy. When we came in we were 1 out of 3 customers they had. And I still got my order wrong. For a meal that was over 100$ we were highly dissatisfied . Definitely not coming back. Highly recommend Wishbone Chicken instead, it's much better. read more

After a day of shopping at the Leesburg outlet mall, my husband and I decided to grab some lunch at Chicken Rico. My husband got the chicken quesadilla and I got the taco salad with chicken. The presentation of the food was great! However, the taco salad shell was not crispy and the chicken used in the salad was slightly over cooked and difficult to chew. The quesadilla was delicious! The green sauces provided were amazing and I was a bit jealous that I did not get the same thing. Maybe they were having an off day. I do plan on going back to try something else. Placed a takeout order for pickup at 6pm, arrived at 6. Got home (10 minute drive) and the Chicken Burrito tortilla was completely saturated, could not even hold it, everything was falling out of it, and found 2 bones in one half of the burrito. I did not eat the other half. Yucca fries were cold and dry. Half chicken platter, the chicken was completely dried out. Been going here for years, this is my last order. read more

We highly recommend eating your food at the store/right away. The white meat is a little dry, but the sauce helps. We like the green sauce the most. Hot tip: you can ask to get only the green sauce and they will give you additional green sauce in replacement of the other one. read more

I ordered the 1/4 chicken special which included 2 sides. The chicken was moist but not very flavorful in my opinion. There are better Peruvian chicken places in the area. The mac and cheese was very good. In short, if your car is in for repair and one of the service stations across the street, it is a handy place to eat while you wait. I'll put down a marker and call this the best Peruvian chicken place in Leesburg. Didn't realize I'd never rated it. Consistently good bird here. Sides are also excellent. Hours are weird in CoV times, that's universal, nothing is open late and everyone is short-staffed. Definitely a fantastic value for the money. 5/5 read more

CR is located in the Gold's Gym/Petco shopping center in a stand alone building next to Tropical Smoothie. I usually pop in after work and order sides which includes mac & cheese, white rice and mashed potatoes. Their yellow sauce is the best! When I do order chicken (1/4) it is moist. I used to like this place, but the staff just seem to not care these days. I went in around 8:30pm and was told that they were no longer serving chicken. This place is a chicken restaurant and they had clearly decided to make a quick exit at closing time. There were chickens in the rotisserie, which they had shut down. I was told that all I could have was sides, really??? Obviously I left and as I sat in my car outside, ordering from somewhere else, I saw 3 more people walk in and the out again as there was no chicken being served. Glad they can afford to turn away business. I wonder if management is aware that they do this. Will not be going back, Leesburg has other rotisserie chicken options. read more

While the chicken is good the Yuca is terrible. Its so expensive and they gave me old cooked yuca. It used to be good and they gave you a lot.The last 2 times the yuca was not good and the portion is small. I don't know why restaurants serve bad, not fresh food because now I'm filled with regret and telling myself don't ever go back. read more

One of the better PPPs (Peruvian Pollo Places) I've been too and it's right in smack dab middle of Leesburg. An extension of their Herndon location, it serves up a tasty rotisserie dirty bird along with great sides. Favorites are the yucca fries, veggies, potato salad, and spicy chickpeas. If you don't want their chicken, they have other Peruvian dishes such as the lomo saltado and carne asada. In addition they have quesadillas, burritos, and sandwiches. The owner or whatever has now neglected my initial email complaining about his employees closing early and has took it into his own hands to find me on Instagram and message me there. Very childish and slightly creepy. He still hasn't acknowledged the fact that his employees closed up early the night my family and I went there for dinner. What we ordered: 1. Lomo saltado: beef strips with onions, bell peppers, and tomatoes in a gravy sauce, served over steak fries, with a side of rice. 2. Pollo saltado: same as above, but with chicken strips instead of beef strips. 3. The half roasted chicken with a side of mashed potatoes and chick peas. Both the lomo and the pollo saltado were oh so delicious!! Rich flavors, huge portions, and super filling! They came with a side of jalapeno sauce and a honey mustard sauce, which was great with the fries and chicken/beef! So good that next time I plan on ordering the fries separately just so I can enjoy the sauce flavors more. Our kids had the roasted chicken and devoured it! The mashed potato was creamy and buttery and while I thought that the chick peas were just okay, my husband loved them! Definitely try this place out and order the saltado! You'll love it! Reading the reviews, that one star one way below mine is crazy. No one has a right to demand a business be open then threaten to slander them on social media, even if they have posted hours. I'm normally a Guapos guy, so that's tops in my book, but this is the best place in town. Easy to feed a whole family on a whole bunch of food. Always friendly, and they've always either got Liga MX or la Liga on TV. read more

Really enjoyed the chicken here. Fiance said it was good but not as good as our favorite place out of town. He said it was missing the crispy skin. It could be it took maybe 10 mins to get home and the skin wasn't as crispy, not sure. We had fries and fried rice, which were good. Also tried the chicken and steak sandwich. I felt that there were a good variety of options offered, all of which my family members had ordered were cooked quickly by the friendly staff (but the food was freshly made). In addition to everything tasting great (I loved the sauces that were provided), the portion sizes were wonderfully generous. Chicken, charcoal chicken, rotisserie chicken. They were tender, juicy and extremely flavorful. Staffs are nice, friendly, and some are really cute. They'll give you a load of side orders like no tomorrow or they hate the owner of this restaurant to the gut. The place was decent, somewhat clean, colorful ceiling and a broken exit door that require 500 calories of force to push out. Price, acceptable. Will return. read more

When they first opened they had a few issues with service but since the Covid 19 shut down it seems that they are putting customers first. Usually they would stop making meals thirty minutes before they closed but now they cook until closing. They even let a few people in after their posted closed hours last week to get whatever they had left as I guess closing due to Covid caused them loss in income to the point where they don't turn away customers....even those who come in at 7:59 when they close at 8:00. Keep up the customer service. They would get five stars but the app they use for online orders has the wrong prices with an increase of $2-$3 per item. read more

This review isn't about the food it's about the fact that they operate whatever hours at any given day. Their website, Google and Yelp show certain hours but that doesn't mean they're open, some days they just close early ... this isn't a way to run a business. Update your hours on your website and on Google this is how people find out when your business operates it's not 1988 when people will drive over to see if you're open or not. read more

I went and tried the lomo saltado and it was nothing but onions and fried i bairley had any meat and the meat was just chewy and nasty on top of that i ended up paying 27 for that and a side of Yuca fries that where undercooked ! I felt like they overcharged me a added a tip without me knowing ! I don't recommend at all food was mid ! Made me throw up and i'm not the type to write review. read more
