Food was amazing. Service was great. We will definitely be back. Extensive menu offered a huge variety to choose from. Decor and ambiance were also great.

    Lemon limeade. Delicious!!

I can't believe I haven't already reviewed this place because I've been eating here since before the plandemic. Luckily, they are among the few that didn't lose the food quality post-Covid, as so many other restaurants seemed to. There's so many great dishes here! The papusas are good, and the Salvadoran slaw that accompanies them is the best! The slaw has some heat to it, but it's fresh and crisp! They serve excellent thin and crispy tortilla chips, and the salsa also has some heat. My friend who is strictly a "mild" person gets their refried beans to dip. Her 11 month old granddaughter tried the beans and was making "yummy noises" and all the patrons and staff laughed in delight!! I don't even like refried beans from anywhere else! My absolute favorite is the chorizo tacos. It's Mexican street style with the 2 tortillas, meat, lime and cilantro/green onions. I keep searching for an equivalent back home in Florida, but I'm unable to find anything close. I tried the lemonade yesterday. Mmmmmm. It's actually homemade lemon lime and WOW, was it great! Such a beautiful presentation too! I love the boiled tamal de elote with the sweet cream. Mmmm. So good. Their plantains are the best of any place I've ever tried. Cooked to perfection! My friend had the Platos del Patrón yesterday. She said it was delicious! Must've been, bc she cleared that plate! The menu is HUGE, and with prices starting at $2.74 (papusa), there's something for every budget! Hands down the best restaurant in Leesburg!

This place is so good. It is definitely worth the drive from fairfax. Their pupusas are hands down the best in this region. I recommend people to try this place. Henry, the manager is very nice and hospitable. We look forward to coming back soon!

Beef soup had no flavor. Will probably not return. I have to say that service was good and it was very clean.

Then while driving around that gas station looking for a spot to park, I smelled some amazing Pollo a La Brassa and saw La Chocita behind the gas station. That smelled drew me in! The folks inside were friendly and sat me promptly. I ordered a quarter chicken and she immediately told me she didn't have any chicken today (I think she meant not ready yet). I said I smelled it and that's why I came in, so she said to wait and went in the back. She came back and said she had chicken, so I assumed the fresh, amazing smelling chicken I came in for that was being cooked was ready. Well, what I got was yesterday's chicken which seemed to be re-heated. It was dry and flavorless... very boring. No spices to be seen or tasted - So very disappointing! The beans that came with it were decent... not a lot of flavor, but great texture and still good. The salad was fresh, their "dressing" was the typical mayo-based sauce and it was ok. Overall - Nothing at all exciting about this visit... I left disappointed.

The parking lot needs some work, it's not paved. Apparently this place has been in business for over 20 years, they could improve in this area. You start with complimentary chips and salsa. This wasn't bad. I started off with horchata, very good. I had half a chicken all dark meat with yucca and rice. The chicken was pretty good. Flavorful, juicy, tender. The yucca was the perfect texture, crispy exterior, soft interior. The rice was okay. The sauce both white and green could use some work. I'll say, their sauce doesn't come close to super chickens sauce. We dined in. The place was clean. The server was nice. They checked on us multiple times throughout the meal. They have a extensive menu. I'll definitely come back to try out the other items.

The meat options were also greatly appreciated by my friends who joined me at the restaurant. Ask for the in-house spicy salsa if you like a kick of spice. Definitely recommend visiting this restaurant when you're in the area.

I wasn't feeling up to the big chains and places I wanted to try seemed to close early. Luckily this place was open and I had been wanting to try it for a while. Definitely it let a hidden gem! There are some parking spots right in front, although not many. There is a decent amount of seating, but it would be tight if you had a large party. My partner did note that the bathrooms weren't that great. You immediately get served complementary chips and salsa. They were pretty basic, but not bad. We ordered the following: + Papusas (Pork and Cheese & Loroco and Cheese) - Decent, although I prefer the Loroco (an edible flower bud). + Pollo à la Primavera (chicken dish) - Yummy, especially the sauce which mixes well with their hot/spicy sauce too! I could do without the salad dressing. + Camarones con Calabeza (shrimp dish) - Same as above! Note they leave the tails on. + Natural Juices (Mango and Maranon) - So refreshing! I loved the Maranon (cashew apple) was a wonderful burst of tropical sweetness with a subtle nutty taste. I appreciate that for the pupusas they had the foresight to provide my partner and I two plates so we could sphere the papusas. The portion sizes of the entrees were great for the price. It did take a while for the staff to swing by so that we could get boxes and the check. Note that credit cards and mobile pay are accepted. I definitely wouldn't mind coming back again to try more items on their menu.
